Aerbro Versus Underscore, Second Battle Yo, Ref: Cynder
Welp
Seeing as my other battle, one that was started 16 days ago, has only has one round completed, let's have another one!
One on One (Single Battle)
DQ Time: 5 days
Arena: Generic Forest.
Tall trees, low visible light, barely any undergrowth, mainly just dirt, a bit of grass and mud. There is a somewhat clearing (A circle with a 7 foot radius), but the sky is still covered by the leaves on the trees. The tree trunks, and ground is damp as if it had been raining recently. Pokémon that are not able to move on land move about as if they were in their environment.
Banned Moves: None
I choose first and attack second.

TEAM AERBRODACTYL vs. TEAM UNDERSCORE
Round 1
Arena: Generic Forest
vs.
The battle kicks off with the arrival of the Pokemon on the field, both of which seem incredibly comfortable in the cool dampness and low light. Skorupi is the first to move, he badly holds by hysterical laughter directed at his opponent and flies off a swarm of insults. A mushroom? What's it gonna do, spew spores at him? Deathcap retaliates by, well... spewing spores. But they're definitely effective, they knock the bug to sleep in seconds.
Deathcap: -6 Ep .:. Skorupi: -4 Ep, Sleeping
***
As Skorupi snoozes, Deathcap begins a little victory dance. Well, as close to dancing as can be done by a mushroom. She sways from side to side happily, by the time her dance ends the low light filtering though the branches is a whole lot brighter and the cool, damp atmosphere isn't quite as cool.
Deathcap: -10 Ep .:. Skorupi: +3 Ep
***
Taking full tactical advantage of the sun, Deathcap basks in the glow and concentrates wholly on honing her battle prowess, and grow a few centimetres. Seems like Skorupi is trying something similar, except, not quite. He continues to sleep away peacefully, and Deathcap hasn't made any attempt to rouse him.
Deathcap: -6 Ep, +2 attack, +2 special attack .:. Skorupi: +3 Ep
End of Round 1

Aerbrodactyl to attack next!
Sorry, would have had this up yesterday but closed the tab and lost the whole thing. Lost motivation there, so decided to do it today instead. Once again, my apologies!

Hmm, let's go for some simple actions this round.
Chill for the first action, take a load off, you used a lot of energy last round. Then I want you to make a 10 HP substitute and then use Swagger~

Round 2
Arena: Generic Forest

*Intense sunlight! *
3 rounds
Similarly to the last action, nothing appears to be happening; that's because that's the case. Skorupi continues to doze in the sun, while Deathcap focuses on relaxing and topping up her tan.
Deathcap: +6 Ep .:. Skorupi: n/a
***
Deathcap apparently appears to continue doing... absolutely nothing. Or so it appears, because she's created a substitute; so she hides in the trees out of the way. By this point, both I and Skorupi have gotten a bit bored, and with that he wakes up and slashes Deathcap with glowing green pincers. Needless to say, she falls apart, and the real Deathcap is revealed, snickering away in the background in a way that only mushrooms can.
Deathcap: -10 Hp, -8 Ep .:. Skorupi: -8 Ep
***
Feeling pretty smug by this point, Deathcap begins to throw a few insults at Skorupi, who's too busy scraping away at the ground to really care. A mushroom who's only capable of throwing off spores? Please!
Deathcap: -6 Ep .:. Skorupi: -5 Hp, -3 Ep (+5 Hp sub)

Let's start with breaking that substitute! Use Hidden Power Psychic on it. Then, while that Skorupi is still dealing with your sub, hopefully, use Attract! Then finish off by letting Skorupi get good and close with that X-Scissor and blow a Stun Spore right in its face. If Skorupi failed to get close, use Defense Curl.

Round 3
Arena: Generic Forest
vs.
*Intense sunlight! *
2 rounds
Skorupi, after his rounds of rest, is raring to go and charges towards Deathcap, claws raised and bursting with bright green bug energy. The claws are brought down with a quick scissor motion over Deathcap's head, so she squeals and releases a quick barrage of silvery coloured orbs, which hit Skorupi and deal decent damage; or so it seems. The substitute breaks, and Skorupi comes back into view.
Deathcap: -8 Hp, -5 Ep, hidden power steel .:. Skorupi: -7 Ep, substitute *broken*
***
In a similar manner to the previous action, Skorupi charges fowards with his claws raised, and slashes at Deathcap with them once again. She winces but begins to bat her eyelashes (or whatever mushrooms have), and Skorupi finds himself entranced.
Deathcap: -8 Hp, -4 Ep .:. Skorupi: -7 Ep, attracted
***
Skorupi runs forwards to strike again, hoping to prompt another attract from Deathcap, but instead it makes her release a barrage of spores, both toxic and paralysing. While the toxic spores released by Deathcap's ability have no effect, the paralysing spores leave Skorupi feeling a little slower than before, and make his movements more difficult.
Deathcap: -7 Hp, -6 Ep .:. Skorupi: -8 Ep, paralysed

Skorupi, why not return the favor by using Attract as well. Then try too woo her with Swagger. Finish with Return. According to the Movelist, I bet Attraction will increase Return's damage.

Round 4

1 round
Skorupi can really feel the love between he and Deathcap, just a quick glance at her causes his heart to flutter in his chest. So, as the confident little insect he is, he struts over to his mushroom date and woos her effortlessly; Deathcap just watches in awe, completely immobilised.
Deathcap: +6 Ep, attracted .:. Skorupi: -4 Ep
***
Entirely infatuated, Skorupi just stares straight at his lover dotingly. This causes Deathcap to blush and she hides her face, raising her defense in the process.
Deathcap: -5 Ep, +1 defense .:. Skorupi: *immobilised by love*
***
Just like the last action, Skorupi is unable to move; one might say he was paralysed with love. Aww! But, unlucky for Skorupi and lucky for Deathcap, she's still rational enough to listen to her trainer and uses a mean rollout attack, strengthened fourfold by the defense curl last action and the type advantage. All I can say is, if that continues, it's going to hurt.
Deathcap: -3 Ep .:. Skorupi: *immobilised by love*, no longer infatuated, -12 HP
End of Round 4
Underscore to attack next!
I know the descriptions are really short, but there's not a lot to work with when there isn't exactly a lot happening. And for future reference, infatuation has a 50% chance of immobilising Pokemon and paralysis has a 25% chance, just like in the games. That meant Skorupi only had a 25% chance of attacking successfully!

Disobeying her trainer's orders, Deathcap decides not to use Rollout again, and instead just sits around, immobilised by her lover's allure. Skorupi, however, is completely over Deathcap, and is just left wondering exactly what ha saw in her; as such he follows orders perfectly and slashes Deathcap twice in the face.
Deathcap: -10 Hp .:. Skorupi: -9 Ep
***
Skorupi does exactly the same as he did last round and swiftly slashes at Deathcap with green, glowing pincers. Deathcap, shocked and saddened by his denial, begins to cry. Aww! Seems the RNG hates her today.
Deathcap: -10 Hp .:. Skorupi: -9 Ep
***
Unlucky in love, Deathcap remains unable to move. However, Skorupi joins her this time, as his joins stiffen due to paralysis. The two sit hopelessly together, both entirely unable to attack; it is then that Deathcap realises how stupid she's been, and the attraction is broken.
Deathcap: N/A.:. Skorupi: N/A

TEAM AERBRODACTYL vs. TEAM UNDERSCORE
Round 6
Arena: Generic Forest
vs.
Now with nothing holding her back, Deathcap executes her trainer's commands perfectly and rolls quickly at Skorupi, who is practically powerless against the super effective, defense curl boosted rollout attack, all coming from a Pokemon with +2 attack under her belt. Needless to say it does tons of damage, and Skorupi's retaliation is to throw a thick glob of mud in her face. Although it doesn't do much damage, the obscured vision is going to make it harder to land a hit in the future.
Deathcap: -2 Hp, -3 Ep, -1 accuracy .:. Skorupi: -16 Hp, -3 Ep
***
Using momentum from the previous round, Deathcap continues her rollout spree and speeds towards Skorupi. However, the unfortunate consequence of the last round is the lowered accuracy, so the mushroom misses her target entirely. Grinning evilly, Skorupi throws even more mud in her eyes, lowering that accuracy stat even more.
Deathcap: -4 Ep, -1 accuracy .:. Skorupi: -3 Ep
***
Despite her lowered accuracy, Deathcap continues to roll with a vengence and barrels straight into Skorupi, sending him flying across the battlefield and into a tree, where he sits, dazed. He shakes hit head to clear it, but his muscles sieze up with paralysis so he's left unable to move.
Deathcap: -3 Ep.:. Skorupi: -16 Hp
End of Round 6
Underscore to attack next!
Note: Rollout's damage is just a little higher here than in previous rounds because I realised that I hadn't taken the +2 attack into account when doing my calculations ^^; rather than edit previous rounds to take this into account, I've chosen to leave it as it was more than one round ago. However, from here on out the +2 attack will be taken into consideration; sorry for that!

Irritated about missing the final confuse ray last round, Skorupi concentrates once again and fires off another two swirling stars. However, at the last moment, Deathcap throws up a protective shield which dissolves the confuse ray on impact, leaving Deathcap unscathed and fully aware.
Deathcap: -7 Ep, .:. Skorupi: -5 Ep
***
Skorupi, despite paralysis, is still first to move, and charges forwards with pincers crossed to deal damage to Deathcap. She winces, the attack's pretty strong, but thanks to the defense curl, its sting has been lessened. After the attack, she begins to roll again, and hits skorupi square in the side.
Deathcap: -8 Hp, -3 Ep.:. Skorupi: -16 Hp, -7 Ep
***
Shocked and hurt by the rollout, Skorupi's paralysis kicks in and causes him to sieze up and be unable to move, which makes him a sitting duck to the next attack. With an obvious target and increased momentum, Deathcap delivers a finishing blow with a second consecutive rollout.
Deathcap: -6 Ep.:. Skorupi: -32 Hp
End of Round 7
And with that, the battle concludes! Aerbro and I walk away with a dandy 2 points, while Underscore takes away one. Thank you for participating you two!
