Another battle at ASB, who woulda thought?!?

Strangely enough, I'm on a stone gargoyle overlooking the Pit..never thought I'd be here again. On either ends of the bridge stand Weasel Overload and Vermillion. Both trainers choose what they believe to be their wisest choice for the narrow arena, and set commands. This battle is underway.

As the moonlight pokes through the clouds, we see a glint of light start to shower Holm, as he stands his ground. Thor sees an opportunity, and mimics the Turtwig, allowing that same light to wash over his form after a few moments.

*Safeguard lasts for 5 actions!*

With both participants safeguarded,Holm dashes forward on the offensive, hurtling small pellets from his gullet at Thor. Thor waits until he is sure the Seed Bomb passed its apex , before dashing straight backwards, allowing each bomb to splat right in front of him. A nice show of Agility there, Thor.

Without wasting a heartbeat, Thor dashes forward to intercept his victim. Holm starts to release sandy particles from his shell but is suddenly encumbered with the weight of the yellow thunder-wielder on his head.

Thor lived up to his name, as the blinding Flash that he built up shone through the area at such an intensity that it looked as if the sun rose for a moment. When the lights dimmed, Thor was standing behind Holm, as Holm stayed completely, scared he was going to fall.

Righteous, lets get into the MK spirit Thor, were gonna channel the Thunder God Raiden. Use Flying Thunder God! That is simply a Quick Attack/Slam Combo to knock Holm's off the side. When he returns from his trip, Iron Tail.

Holm, erect a quick Reflect to bounce Thor right back off you! Follow up with your own Iron Tail to whip him off the bridge, and when he comes back at you with his own Iron Tail, use Grass Knot to trip him up!

Above certain doom, these two tiny titans fight, not fearing the darkness below. Thor, assimilating the powers of Lord Raiden himself, dashed over and lunged at Holm, screaming out his name (Which I think a rough translation would be "Kugijakalaya!")

Holm cringed slightly as the Pika came roaring at him full speed, but sighed when the attack buffered against a screen of light. Pain was still felt, but Holm smiled, his Reflect went up just in the nick of time. lucky thing too, as he set it up in front of him, since his eyes were still hurting. Thor looked up from his buffered attack to see a jumping metallic Holm, whom landed on his head-tail first! He made sure to keep track of the largest yellow blob-that was Thor!

Reeling back from the hit, Thor stumbles, and almost falls off the edge. Adeptly, Thor flips himself back to the middle of the bridge, and sets his own Tail in a cast of Iron. Dashing at Holm, Thor tries to leap high in the air and land a direct hit on Holm's shell...

but a webbing of grass grows from Holm's shell, and shoots up at the incoming Pika, throwing him backwards and nullifying the Iron Tail. As Thor landed, a shimmering of light faded around them, the Safeguard had faded.

===Round 3===

Focused on a yellow shape that was starting to resemble more and more a Pikachu, and less and less a glob of yellow, Holm marched forward, his small shell beginning to shimmer. Thor unafraid of the slow moving Turtwig, begins to command Rain to cause some water to fall.

Even though Rain was nowhere near MK II, Thor's wish is obliged, and rain begins to fall upon the arena, making the already slick bridge even worse. Holm fears not, and lets Thor have it-blasting him full force with a barrage of seeds of his own production.

Wiping the seeds that stuck to his face, Thor slides back on the slick bridge, before charging up a thin jolt of electricity. Holm, resilent as ever, answers the bouncing pulse by erupting the sky with a huge Flash, as if Thunder already lashed onto the bridge.

The end result left Holm able to sidestep the incoming bolt that was fired, and Thor stumbling around blindly. He had no idea if the attack worked or not.

Holding his eyes, Thor looked up to the sky in fear and anger, Thunder roared for him, as Holm watched as Thor commanded a mythical power unlike those his element called for. Orbs began to orbit Thor, and with a fling of his arms aimlessly, the Hidden Power shot out, striking Holm backwards.

Holm shook the hit off, and shot a hyper barrage of Seeds upward, before backing away quite a bit. His shield began to shimmer, noting its apparent demise. As the Reflect fell, Holm watched as Thor was struck from above by the multitude of Seeds, as if he was the target of a bombing! Thor lied there amidst the aftermath, blinded and stunned.

===Round 4===

Whilst blind, Thor merely rolled up into a ball, allowing his small body to reaffirm its toughness, as well as focus his mind. While his Defenses were heightened, Holm took the time to walk up to Thor, close enough to shoot a legion of seeds upon Thor's back. Unlike the last two times, these Seeds Leeched onto Thor.

Seeds on his body, Thor paid no attention to them. As the rain slid across their battle weary bodies, Thor sent loose a Wave of Shocking energy, Holm found himself hard-pressed to stop his body from slipping on the slick bridge, as he was struck backwards. In reply, Holm forced a mass of green energy back at Thor, whom was already gearing up for a second wave of energy.

Thor was struck by the massive blast of green, and took a moment to shake off that hit.

Holm was determined, as his body gave off a silverish sheen in the rain. Dashing forward, he jumped twice to try and avoid the incoming Shockwave, but true to its nature, the Wave of electric energy was able to strike Holm, blasting him backwards. Holm landed on all four feet, but he went sliding, and voraciously attacked the edge of the bridge as he went over....and barely held on with his beak!

Barely attaining a leg hold, he was able to clamor up and run up to Thor-whom was still rubbing his eyes. A Iron Tail struck Thor in the face, and Thor squealed in pain. The rain began to pass revealing to Thor that his vision was still slightly off. He saw 3 Holms's...that's not good.

===Round 5===

Difficulty seeing the three Holm's did not deter Thor. Standing his ground, the crackle electricity began to profoundly exit his diodes. Holm, unafraid, zipped carefully, sliding back and forth until there were three clones. Unfortunately, the Shockwave the was expunged threw all 9 Holm's back (for Thor)-and left one weakened Holm. Blast.

Although only thick puddles remained, Holm found it necessary to get over and swat Thor. Iron shielding encased him again, and Holm darted left and right -albiet carefully-speeding up to Thor.

Thor though, had his vision clear enough to see Holm amidst the wavering patterns, and forced all his energy to pull the rainwater that accumulated in the pit to rise up and encase the whole left half of the Bridge in a Surf.

Holm screamed. I'm talking Psycho-esque as he was swept off, no contest. As he fell with the water, a glowing light slammed into him, and began to lift him through the water, and after a few death-defying moments, back onto the Bridge.

Unnerved a bit by that attack, Holm took a tentative step back, and forced out a blast of energy that had no real ambience to it. The oddly white wave of energy bypassed a small jolt of electricity that Thor threw out in retaliation. Holm watched his wave of Power strike Thor, but then felt a crippling feeling through his body, as the Thunderwave clasped around his limbs.

Thor rolled backwards, and shook his head. For some reason...he didn't feel well. In fact...he was tired!..Drowsiness overcame Thor, and he stumbled back and forth in a vain attempt to stay awake.

Man this match just got brutal. Holm, uncaring for the well-being of Thor, just dashed forward, using all his momentum to careen headfirst into Thor. Now, I thought Thor was going to dodge, but Thor was meticulously charging his tail to break those dastardly seeds off of him. Upon Holm's hit however, Thor went flying, losing all focus for his attack and sailing off the edge....Holm almost following as he slammed his head on the ground right after and stumbled forward. But that beak saved him again.

Holm: TURTWIG!! *GET DOWN THERE!!*

*PIKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa*

The shining light appeared, and Lord Thor was placed upon the bridge again, obviously a bit more freaked out. at Holm's ruthlessness.

Knowing that Turtle was out for death, Thor decided to dash over and give him a beauteous white-knuckle Dynamicpunch. The attack was launched, but Thor screeched in angst as a brilliant Flash lit up the arena again!!!

I swear this job better have vision...

Thor's attack sailed wide left and he went close.. closer..oh man he almost fell. He stopped..right at the edge, and I don't even think he knows he's there!

Rubbing his eyes furiously, Thor wondered why he was subjected to such torture, But his ears caught the sounds of Holm approaching from behind. When Holm stopped moving though., Thor began to get unnerved. There was no sound he could make --O wait, a small sound, and a smell of...grass? Thor freaked, and jumped vertically, since he was unsure of his footing.
Starts flew out omnidirectionally form his form, but they all curved in flight toward Holm. Holm looked on in surprise as a barrage of Swift attacks flew into him, rolling him back. His energy Ball was fired immediately after, striking Thor as he landed but knocking him back onto the bridge. Lucky.

===Round 7===

Understanding the limitation of his body with that Leeching apparatus upon his back, Thor re-enabled his Iron'ed Tail to now meticulously slice those vines free. Tearing each away felt like a weight off his shoulders. As they were removed with that weakened version of that attack, Holm took a moment to relax.

Free of the vines, Thor was back to full speed, and gave Holm no chance for mercy. Paws slowly raised as Holm dashed in, beak clamping for a indication of what Thor should expect. Should being the operative term, as Holm suddenly ran into a blast of light so sharp, he had to skid to a stop.

Thor already had enough problems with his vision, so why not have Holm join him!

With his Crunch attempt wasted, Holm began to conjure up a mystic energy that was flung from his tail! The secret Power floated lazily over to the left, and soon disappeared into the darkness that was the Pit.

Thor watched from beside Holm, quietly resting while keeping his giggles low at the totally missed attempt. Holm had a feeling sicne he heard not a sound, that Thor was not hit. Crap. Where was he?

===Round 8===

A sharp wind blew. Holm and Thor now relied on their ears, although Thor currently could see better than Holm. As such, Thor merely turned around to see a greenish shape bobble next to him. Staring at Holm's butt, Thor reached out one paw, and forced small stars to appear on his digits.

He didn't fire yet, because Holm seemed to be the reason the winds came. Lying on his stomach-keeping his arm outstretched-Thor inched backwards, keeping quiet. One far enough away, he managed to fire off his attack and hit Holm in the butt several times. Holm cried out, and in retaliation...nothing.

Holm's paralysis kicked in, forcing him to just sit still. That sucked.

And then they both kinda chilled there.

With being still for two actions basically, Holm had time to readjust his eyes. Thor did not count on this, as he fired off a nonchalant Swift at the turtle. Hom turned around instantly...and gave Thor a bad surprise. Whizzing whirling blades of leaves found their way to Thor in random directions, giving Thor a something to think about.

But the stars fired by Thor found a new home. In Holm's face.

===Round 9===

The winds howling up from the bottom of the endless chasm sent a chill through the bones of the competitors. That Pit was so eerie, as Holm looked over the edge. Walking away from the edge, he lied down, trying to relax a bit. However, the paralysis kicked in, overloading his system until Holm was numb.Thor made sure to slide up right next to Holm, grinning evilly.

Fist glowed with fury, as he swung it erratically hard, cracking it into Holm's shell and forcing that turtle to a horrid fate of falling! Beak was of no use now-as his jaws were locked shut. He couldn't even scream as he sailed into the depths of darkness...

Luckily, by the graces of Lord Shinook, he was brought to the surface again, albiet weaker than before.

And then they both kinda chilled there....again xD. Holm shuddered, there were bodies down there!

Noting that his muscles were allowing him movement, Holm wasted no time in turning toward Thor and ...receiving a Present? The heck? But, something about the present was unnaturally alluring...he couldn't resist opening it. Thor bounced backwards a tad, and watched as an explosion enveloped Holm. Shileding his eyes from the blast, Thor looked left and right.

No sounds of screaming? Did Holm even fall off the edge? He looked up, to see a glowing barrage of leaves come straight for his face! Thor cowered as the leaves cut across his back and arms blinding him in their fury!

As the Razor leaf attack passed, Thor fell on his side, exhausted and possibly defeated.

My question now, where the heck is Holm?...Ohhh! Holm got blasted up and backwards, over Thor! Lucky. Seems he landing on the bridge...yeah, except for the bounce..ow x_x

MORTAL KOMBAT

::Thor, from one end of the arena, launches a deadly set of shuriken Swifts. His opponent Holm, flexes and sends a barrage of Razor Sharp Leaves his way. The two attacks collide in mid flight, each decimating the other, but some from each side make it though! Thor and Holm both are caught off guard by the attacks, and each fall to their face.

Holm however, stands up again, as Thor lies there, dazed and winded.
