The forest cover makes it hard for you to find just what you are looking for. You stop and take a drink of water, and Silvermane follows. Rui though gets your attention, after spotting a pair of Shroomish darting into the brush.

A high pitch buzzing alerts you to a Ninjask flying kinda close by. It's agitated and whizzes past, avoiding a Swellow that swooped down to try and make it lunch dinner.

What do you do?

Nothing seems quite your fancy, so you trudge on. Yer beginning to wonder if what yer looking for is even in these woods, with how hard it is to find. But you stick to your guns.

Nothing is seen for a while as you march on, away from the watery smell. Diving back into the woods, you trudge and trudge, until you finally see a Wormadam. A grass one at that. It stays asleep on a tree, and you then hear a Fearow's cry, followed by a Leafeon darting through the area.

What do you do?

That Leafeon looks tempting, but still not what I want. We'll keep moving, but I may come back if I can't find what I want.

Still not satisfied, you run on. Leaving the Fearow calls behind you are lucky-as a Farfetch'd walks out to cross the road. Pidgeotto and Staravia fly overhead, speeding through the sky and Silvermane backs up as a Breloom hops out of the bushes.

The trek you take is now beginning to get hilly through the woods. You spot a Sunkern high up in a tree. It looks down at you and smiles, before roflcoptering away. You notice a Treecko sneaking up on a Silcoon-and a Beautifly and Butterfree have a wing shining contest!

What do you do?

Now we're getting somewhere. Sil, use Odor Sleuth to trake down where that Treecko has been. Maybe we can find it's family.

Silvermane looks to you. You actually found something you like. My god we must continue! Stealthily, Silvermane creeps up and sniffs around. The Treecko seems to note something is off-but his intention is that Silcoon, which inches away a lil.

Silvermane trots over to you and uses his paws to draw you a map. Seems where this Treecko came from is NOT where you are. But the area Silvermane tries to draw looks like a woodland type area.....over to the far northeast.

What do you do?

You decide to walk to this faroff area, and you tell Silvermane to lead the way. He accepts his task and does so. But instead of walking, Silvermane allows you to board him and Rui holds on, before dashing away.

You make good time as you head through the woods, running through the fog and startling some Gloom making some burrows. A Staravia or two fly to keep up with you for a little, but then break off. Your first sign of making great time-you see the golden staircase stretching upward to the west as you continue.

What do you do?

As you run through the woods like David the Gnome, Swi--err Silvermane barks gleefully. He's picking up speed, cause Arcanines are semi-legendary like that. He lunges over a Vileplume that was seemingly after the two Gloom you passed a while back, and a Farfetch'd fluttes around ,thwacking a sleeping batch of Weedles.

Silvermane then stops abruptly, as you can see a signpost and a clearing of the woods up ahead. The signpost reads:

Ivy Lake=West
Ffenini Mountain=Deep West
Skinny Dip's Pond=East
Sunshine Fields=Northeast
Feizhi Outpost=Deep Northeast

Silvermane sniffs the last choice, and barks, confirming the scent he smelled on Treecko.

As per your request, Silvermane looks to the Northeast. He'd have to run across the plains, and to a place he's never seen before. But-Rui then points to a shadowy figure heading your way. You turn, and note the figure looks slightly familiar. In a puff of smoke...yer gone

..and you reappear at the Feizhi Outpost beginning area. The jungle's humidity hits you like a freight train, and you take a minute to breathe. You hear the caws of wild bugs everywhere, and right as Silvermane begins to walk, you spot a Treecko playing with a Nuzleaf's headleaf while it sleeps.

There are 4 trails to choose from, from right to left. They all head into the jungle.

What do you do?

Silvermane darts left, and you and Rui attentively each look for your elusive quarry. So far, as leaves slap at your face and Silvermane slows his pace, you see Paras skitter about. Silvermane takes a step back as an Ekans slithers past.

Rui points and in the distance, you see two thing shapes. One then jumps out at you, and yep! It's a Grovyle! It squwaks, then sprints off after that Ekans. The other takes off in the opposite direction, as something larger chases it..

You also hear a large slurping sound. But its to your right. You can't see it though.


What do you do?

Not minding the first Grovyle with Ekans, You point forth and Silvermane gives pursuit. You soon realize this may not have been smart, as leaves cut at your face and Silvermane takes jumps that land him in all sorts of much and mire. But its fun, and you feel like yer Indiana Jones. Rui flies up to follow, feeling a bit like dead weight.

Silvermane sees the Grovyle, being chased by a very large dark animal. Its hard to make out at first-but the white coloring alerts you its a Shiftry. Grovyle stops a few more feet in and squwaks as the Shiftry jumps into view. The Grovyle calls for its companion, but there's no answer.

A Pineco falls on your head, and bounces away from the area.

What do you do?

We'll help out the Grovyle, and scare off Shiftry. Sil, use Roar. If that doesn't work then roast it with Flamethrower. After the Shiftry is gone we'll help Grovyle find it's companion.

The Wheel calls that asshole bird a bunch of names in Pokemon-ese and fires off a Thunder Wave, causing the murkrow to squawk with pain and fall flat on its back on the floor of the elevator, just as the elevator opened up into the cave. As it slowly reached the floor of the cave, the extremely pissed Murkrow glared daggers at you, the pokeball still in its mouth. However, being paralyzed, it didnt trust itself to fly, choosing instead to try and get revenge on The Wheel for its indignity.

That Grovyle looks ready to bolt, but Shiftry has it cut off ever time it tries to dart. It laughs, a haunting twisted cackle that is interrupted as Silvermane jumps in between it and its prey. The Dark Plant glares at Silvermane, and Silvermane Roars back in lieu of this intimidating creature.

Shiftry backs up, but it doesn't lose all of its nerve. Grovyle-now freaked by a second Pokemon entering the fight, cowers down. Shiftry dashes forth and Silvermane loses sight of hs target, only to be kicked from behind by that clog wearing menace!

Silvermane releases a Flamethrower and that forces Shiftry to step back. The flames consume him a bit, enough time for Silvermane to stand protectively around Grovyle. Grovyle stands, it's not scared anymore.

Alright Sil, keep Shiftry focused on you with a Leer. Then while it's busy with Silvermane, Rui come up behind it and use a Seismic Toss to throw it off into the distance. Then we'll help Grovyle find it's friend.

Grovyle hops in place as Sil gives Shiftry an Evil Eye. However, it fails since Shiftry is on fire and really isn't looking at him. But he's mad, and he throws both hands in the air. An immense swath of Leaves come flying up from behind Silver and the Grovyle, and engulf them in their Twister.

Silvermane and Grovyle huddle down in the wake of tyhis, an gt a brief reflief when the attack suddenly quits. Rui's to thank for that as Shiftry felt its waist raise up and then his whole perception of gravity be turned topsy turvy.

Sil nd Rui float over to the Grovyle, who looks fine-albiet weary. You and the three Pokemon all begin to head away from this area quickly, Grovyle taking the lead.

You instruct Judge to use Psychic on the door to try to get it open (how ironic, its a Judges desk hr hr ;D). But even though he has the name he obviously didnt have whatever the judge used to get the door open. Upon closer inspection you notice a numbered keypad, it seems whatever the judge had in here was very important and he didnt want anyone but himself to be able to access it.

Finally having a reason to get your revenge on Asshole, you instruct The Wheel to Charge Beam the living hell out of him. Asshole, still pretty pissed off that his thieving and escape were cut short, gives The Wheel a Mean Look, before that look is wiped off his face by a shining beam of yellow and orange sparkles.

Assholes starting to feel a bit overwhelmed at this point, and decides to run straight up to the Wheel and Sucker Punch him right in the face. The Wheel is not amused and Charge Beams Asshole at point blank range, sending it rolling along the ground and causing the pokeball to drop out of its mouth halfway through.

(Wheel: -10%HP, -4%EN) (Ass: -12%HP, -8%EN)

Paniced at the thought of his precious prize out of his grasp, Asshole makes a move to snatch it up again, but his muscles lock up due to his paralyzed state. The Wheel is unsympathetic and slams him with yet another Charge Beam, knocking the poor little bird flat on its back.

You manage to walk over and pick up the fallen pokeball while Asshole is wishing he was dead. Hes also wishing he never used Mean Look, because then he might have actually caught a break. No such luck though, so he does the only thing he can think of, and tries to Astonish The Wheel. The Wheel gives him a "seriously?" look and calls forth the Thunder, which misses. Wow. Really?

(Wheel: -5%HP, -9%EN, Cant escape) (Ass: -3%EN)

Feeling like he might be starting to catch a break, Asshole uses Assurance and charges forth to smash at The Wheel. The Wheel is pissed off at his Thunder missing and, again, uses Thunder, this time hitting the Murkrow at point blank range(you would think hed have learned by now). Asshole reels backward and sizzles slightly, cursing you out in every pokemon insult it knows.

Totally freaking out at this point, Asshole lets out a bloodcurdling Screech, causing The Wheel to stop momentarily in his tracks. But it wasnt enough to stop the last Thunder from ripping at the already paralyzed bird. The murkrow groans and looks at the Wheel, thinking that maybe it didnt like things that looked like pokeballs after all.

The grass geckoraptor sprints ahead, looking for its sibling in earnest. You hop on Sil and Rui takes flight. The Jungle humidity sticks to your skin, making your clothes heavier as you ride on through.

You pass a tree that Grovyle climbs up so it can lunge from tree to tree-and notice a large pair of wings extend from a large blue spot on the tree. But yer already gone..Made a weird sucking sound too.

As you continue, Grovyle knocks down some Weepingbell, which angrily jump out of your way. You then see the lizard lunge through the air and land back on the ground, hissing angrily.

In front of you, there's the other Grovyle!..Coiled up in an Arbok's grasp!
Who knew the Safari Zone was so perilous?

What do you do?

Might as well help out this Grovyle too. Rui use your Psychic powers to grab Arbok and throw it into the distance. Then we'll help the Gorvyle to find the rest to there family.

The first Grovyle runs in and tries to pull the other one free. The Arbok hisses, but its mouth suddenly clamps shut. His body unfurls and he notes the floating spectre. With a forceful lift, Arbok is thrown up and away, weakened by the Psychic prowess.

But the Snake lands, and hisses loud. He's not out yet. The two Grovyles look at each other and break off to the right-spreading themselves apart a bit.

Oddly enough, a Pinsir runs up to you, clamps his head horns twice and then runs left. What?

You are suddenly enamored by the Pinsir, and hop on Silvermane to follow it. The bugs just having the time of its life, and you kinda wonder what's going on with it. The Grovyles are out of sight now, and you enter a sticker part of the Jungle. Sap oozing from trees type sticky. You spot a Ivysaur just nibbling away, and far off in the canopy, there's a big Green shape looking down at you. You crane your neck, and you barely make out the Leaf blades of a Sceptile.

It looks at you warily, before debating about resuming its meal.

What do you do?

Finely, what we've been looking for! Rui fly up and ask Sceptile if it would like to join us. Hopfuly it will, after all of the help we gave the grovyle. If Sceptile refuses and tries to bolt, use a Mean Look to keep it here.

You clap, there was luck finally. Well you did start in the wrong place after all. But the Sceptile seems to be ignoring you. Rui takes point and floats up, trying to see if the Sceptile would like to join.

Scep looks at Rui, and ..laughs? Then he rolls over and climbs down the tree slowly. Rui floats down and glares at Sceptile, and a strange energy encumbers the Pokemon, but I don't think it noticed. Mainly because it went back to sucking on the tree sap.

Rui floats over and draws a picture for you-showing that the Grovyle they helped weren't related to it, so its not his problem. Just then, the Sceptile starts to Screech, and another Sceptile comes into view. This one is a different color though.

This Sceptile then steps in front of the other one and looks to Rui. Rui translates-and you learn this new Sceptile runs this part of the Jungle-and that there was a hit out on those two Grovyle. You look at Rui quizzically, and he laughs-before really telling you that Sceptile is the Grovyle's Uncle and thanks you for your help.
