You follow the ditchy trail, it leads through a number of differently constructed tunnels to the rest. You think that these were created by a pokemon and not humans. Up on the ground ahead you see a badly bruised Geodude who looks close to fainting, its lying on the ground to the left of you while the ditch continues straight ahead.

Picking up the injured Geodude it seems to be really grateful and begins to thank you. But just as quickly as its circumstances became favourable so did they turn to dust as you roll the Geodude down the ditch in front of you. All you hear is a clink as it runs into something then a loud rumble which shakes the whole cavern around you, sounds like something is coming.

The rumbling in the ground begins to intensify as both your pokemon relax on the ground for a spell to get some of their energy back. Feeling better then they have all day both Cacnea and Swablu get back up and jump into an offensive postion. Not a minute too soon either as 2 massive Steelixs bust through the cavern wall in front of you.

Boo's not looking too good, so you recall him. Gallade lands to see a wall of water coming his way from the east, and as Thunderbolt from the west. The two attacks collide on the fighter and wash him in a sea of sparking steam and water.

When it all settles and clears, you note that-to your disbelief, Gallade is standing right beside the area where the attacks collided, unharmed. He must have Protected somehow. Hydro and Venus watch with bated breath, as Gallade seems to have bested them. Gallade however begins to back up, realizing that trouble might be an understatement....

A heavy thud catches your attention, it echoes from the corridor you used to get down here, and then a very familiar roar bellows down the hallway. The two baby Rhyhorn begin to waddle toward the sound, obviously anxious.

Well, no need for a prelude here. The stomping was caused by that now ticked off Rhyperior. She smashed her way into the area through the wall, right as Magneton releases a Discharge to break any debris flying their way. The small Magnemites float around Hydro, and the baby Rhyhorns run around their mothers feet.

To your right you notice a slim path that you could slip through, with a bright light at the end of it.

Mr Gallade was ready to rumble though...

Strangely enough, a Magikarp is swatted free from the water, and skids to a stop a few feet away. You look to see its attacker, and notice..its a Feebas? Really?

Fed up with the lake, you decide to head into the woods.

The gorgeous sunshine by the lake now ceases and you fall into a slightly darker area. The air is not humid though. Tres tower above you impresively and as you gaze up at the canopy, you spot two Ledyba's fluttering past.

This place is alive, as you notice Ryan jumping back from a wriggling bush. A Tanglea runs off from being stepped on and Yana hisses as a Oddish pops his head out the ground to see what all the fuss is about.

You look up and to the left, and see a few Weepinbells hanging quietly. One falls near your head, and you can barely see a Nuzleaf dropping them down at you.

Hiking along, you avoid the swarm attack, resorting to running west to get away. You stop, and your Pokemon all take point positions. The mist is heavier here, and in the distance you can see a fork in the road. However, right now, Yana is staring at a set of eyes watching him.

The eyes jump out to reveal a Sunkern! Ha..weird? Anyway, but a Taillow streaks past. A Bulbasaur walks by you, unphazed by Ryan's cold chill.

Turning to see the Bulbasaur, you stare at your Pokemon. Bulbasaur turns to look at you, and then realizes the danger he's in. For a chubby planimal, he moves pretty fast, and he immediatly lets off a Sweet Scent to help his plight. Ryan and Dodger respond by firing off ranged attacks, and Yana takes a deep breath-while plotting.

The Supersonic hits Bulba, and then the Ice shard bounced the little planimal back. He shakes it off, but stumbles on his side. Ryan goes to cheer Yana on, and Yana needs it, cause he feels very verrry calm. Yana tries harder, and flings fire at Bulbasaur. The fire sweeps over him, and leaves him a burning mess.

Dodger however, is flying around in circles, and then it lands, apparently tired from its own hyperactivity. But bulba stands up, only to be struck down by a rogue Ice Beam. Yana split into 3 clones and baited with bated breath. But Bulba wasn't going out without a fight, and a flurry of Razor Leaves flew out, slashing Yana and the clones.

The poor Bulbasaur. He was getting his tail knocked out of him. Still disoriented, the next three motions slammed the chubby planimal against the ground from the air, then singed his bulb, and ended with making him drowsy. But he had a shot..he just needed one shot...

Yana stayed where she was, sorta close to Ryan and about a yard away from Bulbasaur and began snarling, plotting its demise. Ryan opted to end it now, with an Ice Beam. Dodger flew above the two and flapped its wings hard, firing off a Ominous Wind. The attacks all flew in their own regard into a mass of energy that was greater than the Ice Beam, and cut a path through the wind! Dodger, Ryan and Yana all stared in disbelief as the Solarbeam hit them with enough force to take out a building!

Bulba wobbled on his little legs, and then fell over, sleep.

The trio all crashed together in a neat pile, before Dodger walked away from the two hounds, obviously ticked off that he got caught like that. Ryan rolled onto his haunches, before halfheartedly rooting Yana on via pushing her up and making her get close to the dangerous plant. The small planimal twitched, and Yana was quick to enclose the beast in a wall of Fire, so it couldn't do anymore things like that...right?

I'm going to tell the Rhyperior's babies to convince their mother I mean no harm to them or her, but that I sometimes have to act in self-defense when things start to get rough.

As for that small tunnel, well, since it's probably too big for any of the Pokemon to fit through, I'm going to temporarily recall Hydronix and Venus, and head into that tunnel quickly, hoping it's really small enough to fit only me (but if the Magnemites and/or Magneton can barely fit through it too, then that'd be great).

Well, you being the smart, calculating Trainer, quickly make a retreat, and cram yourself in that space. You don't forget your Pokemon though, and their recalled in a jif. Gallade really doesn't stand much of a chance-being so tired now.

you shout out an apology to the Rhyperior, but she doesn't hear you. Shes' after that Gallade.

You continue down that passageway, and end up in a circular room. There's some light streaming down from below-and a metal set of rungs leading up. Oh and well, the Magneton and friends didn't follow you.

Still behind the wall of fire, it seemed the planimal was unable to execute anything, right? No. The Fire helped a bit as some of the damage from Ice Shard was weakened before hitting Bulba. Yana burst through the flames and struck Bulba up and into them, only to be splattered with a hefty Sludge Bomb. Waves of confusion frequencies went through the air, as Dodger tried to re-cement the confusion aspect to a sleeping Bulbasaur.

Still asleep, it seemed the planimal would stay that way. Dodger's twister ripped through the fire, and again, was weakened before striking Bulba-and also weakened the flame severely. Both Ryan and Yana Double Teamed, and yeah, there are alot of hounds on the attack now.

All satisfied with how bad Bulba seemed to be ailing in this battle, the trio decided this could end here. For safety, Dodger Double Teamed as well as Bulba rolled over. Ryan quickly dashed over the weak flames and flipped Bulba on his backside so Yana could take a bite out of his belleh. Ow.

Only one way to go. You grab the first rung within arms reach and begin to hist yourself up. Its a slow steady climb, but after a good few minutes, you reach the spot where light is coming from. Pushing against the cover, you shove it right and poke your head out slowly.

Realizing no real danger is coming your way currently, you slide out the hole and recover it. Assessing your surrounding yields you to spot a Quarry to the immediate right. You whip out your map. If this is correct, then you somehow made it all the way to Crush Quarry without even realizing it. Well, then again, an Old Village would have needed an old systematic way of making money...
You look down the steep embankment and notice a more even sloped walkway a few feet to your right. Below, way at the bottom of said walkway, you spot a Vibrava digging up out the ground. Then...

your skin turns pale, as you realize a Pokemon is behind you..and you have none of your Pokemon out. You turn around and jump backwards, to see whom might be your possible final witness to your life...

Spikes points directly at you, daring you to move even a centimeter, and they'll fire off unforgivingly. Long arms wave these death inducing needles only inches from your face, an eerie smile coming across its face. But...you sigh.

It's a Cacnea.

You idly look down at the planimal, and inquire about any Steel Type Pokemon. The cactus takes a pose...and then nods, raising his hands to the sky and flapping them vigourosly. He then claps his hands together in front of him and behind him, before stopping.

Then he trots off. A Trapinch kinda burrows up toward you, but then turns a different way....and ha, look at that, a Skarmory flaps over head, flying down into the quarry.

The two Steelixs raise their heads and start to attack, but with a quick thinking move from both Cacnea and Swablu both of them let out soothing tunes which lull both the Steelixs into a deep sleep.

While their opponents lull in a deep state of sleep Cacnea begins to charge up a giant ball of light ready to fire. Swablu meanwhile covers the first Steelix in a wash of flame.

As the ball of light reaches its critical mass the whole thing is released at the first Steelix which just shrugs in its sleep. Swablu once again throws more flames onto the same Steelix as well this time rousing it out of its slumber.

Misdreavus fires off a flurry of shadow balls at the first of the Abomasnows while their reaction is to blanket Misdreavus in snow. At that precise moment though Lapras finally shows up after having all carried all the Snorunts and Galies to safety.

Ah... Sneaking it in with another post. Sorry I missed this one.

Lapras and Misdreavus both use thunderwave against a different Abomasnow. Lapras uses Whirlpool to trap (at least one of, preferably both) them, and then Fissure. Misdreavus uses Aerial Ace twice.
