We'll start simple, Hellbender. Give me a safeguard, then hit Zeus with two ancientpowers. If he tries to protect against either attack, stockpile instead.

===Round 1===

Man, work HAS been hard lately. Thank god for a good savings account! Anyway, DL's back at the helm, reffing a match for you that kinda snuck up out of the blue. Its Kyuuketsuki versus Phoenixsong for the first time. Phoenix releases a small blue teardrop, while Kyuu's sparkplug hops into action.

Hellbender finds little interest in the electric jokemon over there, and raises its small tail up to hug herself. Over a short period of time, a shimmering veil begins to slide around her, blocking any nasty ailments for a while. Zeus however, cares not for that route. He goes for the straight and dirty having enough time to aim and land a successful Judo Chop right atop her head. The Wooper leans back, a nice red lump where that hand hit.

Still rubbing her head, Hell began to think of a suitable counter attack. The Elekid didn't seem to like Hellbender being bent out of shape about being slapped upside the head, so he tried to play nice. Tried being used loosely here. Hell was positively disgusted by that Attract attempt and retaliated with a legion of deep auburn halo'd stones that rose up from the jungle area, and smashed Zeus down.

Lying on the ground, Zeus stared up blankly. Did that just happen. WAS he really REALLY denied? Naa, that can't be right! Pushing some of those stones off of him he sat up and looked round. A squishing sound perked his interest and he turned around. There Hellbender was, still quite ticked off and there were those weird glowing stones again. Zeus was fast though and before the stones fell atop of him, he was able to lunge backwards from a sitting position and land a second punch to Hell's jaw. This one had a nasty sharp chill to it, and she fell backwards herself.

She rose right up though, feeling a bit better about herself.

Woopers have no arms. I dunno why I thought they did. Anyway. Hellbender bops around, trying to keep some space between her and that sparkplug. But Zeus wasn't having it, and he dove toward the xolotol with nothing but malice. Fists rained down on Hell's little body for a few moments, until her tail wrapped around his fist and yanked him off, slamming him into the ground.

Zeus scrambled to his feet and barreled rolled away. Hellbender laughed, and watched as Zeus ran. Oooh mighty god run! Zeus skidded to a stop and laughed back, shouting something in Elekid right back to the Wooper, berofre raising his hands and acting as if there was a Barrier between them.

Hell laughed and clapped at that pantomiming performance, and Zeus was pretty excited about that.

Zeus stepped out from behind the barrier, and tried to assault the Wooper, but that cheer for an Encore made him forego his last action subconscioulsy. Now he made the defensive shield with his chopping hand, and Wooper didn't cheer. In fact, she yawned. Loud. Zeus was kinda saddened and disheartened tht she yawned...u_u.

===Round 3===

Hellbender doesn't know why that Elekid is not trying to attack. In fact, it looks like that Zeus seems bored with Hell's performance in this match thus far, and decides to outpace that sleep that was already affecting him. Yessir, he's Resting all right.

Well Hell bender isn't going to stand for that. A welling of ground appeared under the Elekid, and Zeus soon felt what it was like to travel from the heavens to Earth...with no parachute. The sparkplug bounced a few yards away,but that Rest was working with him now.

Zeus didn't seem to mind the hit so much. He rolled over, snoring contently. His body lurched up and walked back over to where his first Barrier was created. Hellbender thought this to be a mockery of a fight and began welling up another earth geyser to shoot Elekid skyward with.

As Elekid Meditated, the small Pokemon was once again blasted off into the heavens. This time-he landed straight on his head-and that woke him up prematurely! He was confused and disoriented, to say the least. Not to mention hurting quite alot - thank you very much.

Zeus rocked left and right, until his head was free of the ground. Shaking that feeling away, he went to attack Hellbender, bent on making that wobbly head of hers even more oblong. Hellbender quickly called upon that energy one more time, and was able to release it as Zeus ran over to swing. He went shooting skyward, and Hellbender watched him go up...ad then come down right on top of her.

The little electric was able to land on Hellbender as she tried to run away, and punched her head pretty hard from that height!

Zeus took a step back in order to ground himself. That Wooper was all sorts of slimydangerous. At this close proximity however, he knew he could get the jump on her as she righted herself. A strong punch landed right in the small of Hell's back ad she arched backwards in utter pain. A second Punch cracked along her spine and she left the ground for a moment, before landing on her back Zeus laughed and stood over her for a moment, before backing up.

Too bad that amber energy erupted out of the ground again, and sent him flying to the right. Zeus landed near his own Barrier, and he hissed at it. That was doing NOTHING to help him right now.

Remembering that her Trainer didn't want her to be a loser, Hell rolled over and slithered to her feet. She couldn't miss now. Maybe later she could? She wasn't sure. Oh the pressure. She focused, as well as Zeus, whom had his body braced for anything...as long as it wasn't that amber glow that he was seeing under his feet again.

He roared in anger as he was sent flying again, unable to focus at all.

Climbing to his feet, Zeus had had enough of that. He slowly covered the distance between Hellbender and him and lunged. The force put into that Karate Chop was weaker than Hellbender expected, so her jump back didn't quite avoid it. She was thwacked well enough, and bent forward. Flipping over herself, she landed on her back, and rolled up to a sitting position smiling. Zeus already knew what was gonna happen.

There he goes, flying again.

Being well enough to strike again, Zeus steadied his arm, before dashing samurai style toward Hell. He was running on low health, but he knew if he could get one more strike, it would be bliss. His wish came true, as his hand hit right atop of Hell's head, stunning the poor creature.

I guess it worked better than anyone though, cause Hell began slapping its tail in an approving manner, coaxing an Encore performance.

Still up in the speed department, Zeus dashed forth, ready top put another sizeable dent in that slimy Wooper with all its tricks and tomfoolery. The Second Karate Chop came across the waist, forcing Wooper to double over. As Wooper lurched forward, stones shifted out of the ground on this island, and flung themselves outward. I think a plane wing stabilizer was mixed in that barrage.

Anyway, all of that went and struck Zeus. Ouch. I'm pretty sure Zeus is gone after that.

With one down, and an annoying blue teardrop to dismantle, Kyuu releases his second Pokemon. A small lilypad frog hops out, and rocks back and forth. Disinterested with her new opponent, Hell once again yawns.

That, may have not been the best idea. A large orb of grassy energy blasted forth and struck her...HARD. It itched and dried her skin, feeling as if the water was being sucked out of her.

Lotad: -8E ===//=== Hell: -3E/-22H

Pissed off that he was not taken as a credible threat, Lotad ran forward, and began to glow. Hell hopped up from that powerful strike, and turned to feel that grassy power consuming her once more. She fell to her knees, but was able to fight the feeling long enough to cough up a Toxic blast of sludge, and lay it all in that lilypad.

He would have shook it off, but his body was falling asleep. In no time at all, Lotad was consumed by sleep.

The new Pokemon released by PS happens to be a small pig with a spring for a tail! This bouncing bundle of joy has a tongue twister of a name, and yet, ha nothing to fear seemingly, as Lotad is simply asleep. Gio waves its hands around, and a shield is raised.

Lotad though, goes a different route. The clouds start to form, but instead of rain...Hail falls! Hrm, didn't really expect that at all.

Unappreciative of the hail, Gio now works on a second doming shield, this one glowing in a different manner of color. It shimmers brightly against the reflective hail-but Lotad does not care. Lotad rocks back and forth, and soon smslal grass seeds sprout in that lily pad. Lotad then flicks its head forward and the Seeds take flight, bombarding onto the shield and onto Giocoso.

Giocoso was glad for those shields, but that was still a dirty trick.

Now feeling safe to attack, the little Spoink began to establish a link with Lotad. The Lotad didn't seem to flinch at this intrusion of its mental property. Lotad wriggled about as Gio zapped away some health.

Lotad didn't awaken, but he did go on the offensive. A chilling wind blasted the little piggy on its backside. Gio hopped up, not happy.

Lotad-still in slumber, seems to be dreaming of peaceful times. I say this because now, the litter lilypad is glowing green and doesn't seem to want to stop glowing. Perturbed by this development, Gio bounds over and focuses a dual set of beams within that crystal ball atop his head.

It fires off that interwoven beam, striking Lotad as that aura continues to grow around him. Hrm, I think I know what's happening here...

Gi watches as that aura grows to a significant size, before being fired off from the sleeping opponent. He curls up into a springy ball and it smashed by that powerful Beam of concentrated Solar energy. That shield REALLY came in handy just then.

Standing up from that attack, Gio smirks. In front of him is a small half shattered doll, made from some of Gio's own life force. The risk was worth it, he felt. But now Lotad blinked. I guess the sleeping time is over, and Gio kinda grunted in disapproval, he was wanting that health!

Lotad: FIYA! o.o! ===//=== Gio: -7E/-8H Sub: 5

Unsure what actually transpired, Lotad ran over to Gio and hopped on it. Gio bounced once, but Lotad was positioning himself on that sphere atop Gios Sub's head. Lotad then went splat on Gio's Sub's head. As the self induced vomit dripped down mercilessly-Lotad felt his chest cavity suddenly be invaded by a painful blast of energy, as Gio fired a Signal Beam at point blank range.

There goes Lotad, landing on some dirt, pretty hurt.

Gio smirked, as Lotad flips back on his feet. He was looking out into the future. He saw feet, and then Lotad was in the air, but it was all sorts of foggy right now. In response to Gio's apparent zoneout, an Energy Ball fired right in Gio's Sub's face, smashing the pig clone backwards.

Lotad: -7E ===//=== Gio: -7E

Gio snaps back to reality, to see a second Energy Ball flying his way. Gio hissed as it was smacked backwards, but it had something in store. Charging the colors red and blue-Gio waited until both hands were glimmering vibrantly. Then it released them onto Lotad. Lotad flew backwards, stung beyond belief once more.

Lotad groaned. This was hurting far worse than he wished. So he rallied forth and fired a third Energy Ball. The sphere streaked across the expanse between them and smashed Gio back. But Gio fired a beam over the incoming sphere, and smiled as Lotad cried out in pain over the strike.

Gio and Lotad both rear themselves back, before flinging out mystical energies to the other. One latches aroud Gio and pulls at his body, while the other zaps Lotad and flips him over again. Lotad however, seems to manage to grab some life after all. Barely.

Knowing it can do it again. Lotad fired a second coozo energy that ensnared Gio. Gio was quick to fire a second Signal Beam, and this one proved to be too much, even with the leeching effects restored to normal levels, as the Light Screen faded on Gio's side.
