If he tries to dodge or block the combo, just Relax until the Poison/Burn (What would that be? Radiation?) does him in. If he tries a move like Taunt to dissuade you from using Endure, smack him with your combo first turn. And if he tries a suicide attack, Protect against it.

ROUND THIRTY-EIGHT

Things are looking very grim for Order and his trainer, but Darkly has come up with a fascinating idea to combat this scenario. His heavily damaged shark closes his eyes and slumps to the ground, feigning defeat, while Rawk wastes his energy enduring for an attack that'd never come [ -5PP Rawk Hawk ]. Order's body is refreshed nearly: the poisons and burns and some of the wounds dealt with justly [ +10HP, -10PP, -Psn, -Brn, +Slp Ordemos ].

Rawk nearly starts congratulating himself for the victory, but a vicious set of soundwaves comes his way -- from Order, no less. The snoring catches Rawk off guard, making him flinch easily [ -2HP + -2HP Rawk Hawk / +10HP, -10PP Ordemos ]. Rawk quickly shrugs off the attack, and instead gyrates his fist quickly, dragging the snoozing shark over to his direction. Upon reaching him, Rawk bashes Order with his fist and knocks him over [ -6HP, +10HP, -1PP Ordemos / -3PP Rawk Hawk ].

Time. Snore took 10PP? Even I'm confused on that one. I didn't think Snore would cost as much as Rest, I'd like an explanation on that, unless I'm missing something. Even if you combined them (which make more sense...at least to me. You and I do things different so I'm just looking for an explanation)...the combined force of two Snores did 2 dmg? That's a lil bit of a stretch.

I'll attack after I get clarification, that's all.

Snore didn't take any energy, actually. Healing, however, causes a pretty big strain on your energy, which is what took your PP.

The reason snore did so little was because it's your SpA is down by 20%, and it's already a pretty weak attack as it is.

I had a brainfart though, so I neglected to calculate the damage from the second snore.

Rawk follows Order's lead and drifts himself to sleep, regaining some lost energy as he does so, but draining him of all his energy in the process [ +10HP, -6PP, Slp Ordemos ].

Now with both pokemon sleeping and regaining their lost energy in the process, Order's constant snoring irritates the fire pokemon [ -2 + -2 + -2HP, +20PP Rawk Hawk / +30PP Ordemos ]. Order finally awakens from his slumber.

===Round 41/1===

Rawk bounds up onto his feet, head a bit dizzy as the Full Restore does its job. Stretching once more, Rawk awaits his next challenge. To his surprise, A shining fiery monkey stands in front of him, fists to its sides. Goku stands still, looking at the ring. A foot lightly tests the durability of the mat.

Rawk scoffs at this new generation firefighter, and spits at his face. Goku lets the hit strike him, watching as the poison burns up - his skin heating up. Coyly, the ape wipes the excess poison off and runs into Rawk. Rawk bends to block, but the force of that Yoshishaken threw Rawk up in the air as if he was hit by a stone sledgehammer.

Rawk floated in the air, that hit stunning him for a brief moment. In that brief moment, Goku jumped past Rawk, and landed on the rafters. While there were no real rocks, Goku did look at the weaker rafters, and kicked them free, causing the debris to fall at Rawk. Rawk turned in mid-air, and flung something at Goku. The strike was dead on, as it smacked Goku in the face.

Rawk then fell with the debris, crashing into the ring amongst the wood and metal parts of the broken rafters. The crowd cheered, but some wondered could the roof withstand missing a few rafters. I assure it, its ok folks. But the damage wasn't as high as Goku would have liked. He wiped his eyes clear of the silt that was flung in his face.

Rawk got up, holding his chest. That monkey was quite resourceful. HE stayed quiet as Goku swung down, fist cocked. The simian had a good sense of fighting as he swung pretty close to Rawk. Rawk ducked to avoid the fist, leaving Goku's midsection wide open. Rawk dove forward, tackling the foe with a strong Brave Bird.

Rawk forced Goku into the ground, bouncing up and flipping onto the top rope of the ring, watching Goku's sprawled body. He rotated his shoulder, feeling some pain there.

Just a quick point-out, Darkly: Fighting Pokemon like Blaziken/Infernape resist Rock moves. So Stone Edge does just neutral damage.

All I'm saying: 20 HP seems a bit much, even for a move as powerful as Stone Edge.

Rawk stayed on the rope as Goku stood up, shaking his head. Kicking the wood debris away as he stood up, the simian used his tail to beckon Rawk to attack. Rawk sprung off the rope, speeding right toward Goku. Goku blocked the first punch at the last second, and the two began exchanging blows.

The pair began moving back toward the left side of the arena, Goku and Rawk parrying each others blows. Rawk ended with a Backflip kick that slicked Goku backwards. Goku dashed forward and performed a sweeping kick , knocking Rawk on his feet. It was his tail that delivered the ace style cut across Rawk's upper legs.

Goku and Rawk rolled backwards and Rawk jumped upward to get some space....

Rawk stayed focused as he scaled skyward, staring at Goku. Goku watched with glee as Rawk raised his prowess to inflict some hurt, and Goku merely clapped, with one hand no less. Rawk didn't quite get it, but he landed in a more open stance....

Rawk focused again, extending one hand-palm facing Goku, in order to heighten his focus. Goku dashed forth, glad the dumb bird was once agian repeting himself. Goku kneed Rawk in the chin, before double-fisting Rawk's head into the ring. Rawk bounced from the impact, and recovered, unsure why he did that twice. But it didn't hurt THAT much.

Focused more than ever, Rawk dashed over to try and get the upper hand on Goku. Goku was quick to backflip once and try for a Gunk Shot while in mid flip. The shot cycled with Goku instead of flying forward, giving Rawk a harder target to strike. He had to sidestep the simian as it continued to flip with this layer of poison flying up around it. Diving forward, Rawk was able to tackle Goku outside of the Gunk and both hit the mat hard.

Critically hurt, Goku rolled off of the mat on his shoulder and turned into a crouching stance. Rawk went to encroach, but recognized that pose. He stopped, pondering just how this was going to work. Goku slammed his fist into the mat, forcing the mat to quake about. Rawk bounced off of the force tremor and tackled Goku. Man this guy tackles alot.

Both Pokemon are winded, but Goku steps in close. A strong strike made Rawk double over in pain, giving Goku a moment to clear his head. Goku smirked and Rawk took advantage, tackling Goku once again. Goku cried out, this fight was more than he imagined. Rawk didn't mind the pain he incurred during the hit.

===Round 44/4===

Rawk smirked at the now glowing Goku, seeing that his foe was keeling before him. Rawk raised one clawed hand and swung down, only to have Goku sprung up under Rawk's shoulder and scream as loud as he could. Insides of the wrists were held side by side, palms facing outward as a immense ball of multicolored energy came steaming out at close quarters.

Rawk freaked but had nothing as Goku blasted him up to the ceiling with a fantastic show of a energy blast. The flaming ape seemed to attain a red aura around him as he fired this massive attack-and he yelled again, adding a firey elemental force to the already Hyperpowerful beam. Rawk was completely eradicated, and the building's roof barely held all that power in.

Goku ended the massive attack and fell to his knees, pained beyond belief. But Rawk...hoo snap Rawk was done.

Goku succumbs to the poison however, a crappy turn of events for such an epic finish.

Actually, that's my win. You conveniently forgot about Toxic.

K. Took a quick look though all the matches. Can't find an example since this is the first occurrence. So I'm gonna explain my reasoning.

Goku finished you off before Toxic took effect, since Toxic takes effect at the end of the round (in my reffing). Since the round ended prematurely (with Rawk hitting 0 HP), Goku would not have succumbed to Toxic.

The only other psuedo-example I can find right now is you vs Elf in the Glitz pit. If his Mismagius somehow killed you in the first or second action, that burn would not have taken effect and Mary would have won the match. I'm still searching for a example where I did one or the other...but it does pose a conundrum.

EDIT: Fixed it. Found a battle where I did add the Burn in after the round was prematurely finished. Sorry about that.

Using Rufus Valerius, shiny male Sandslash! Start off with a Swords Dance to set you up nicely. Get in a Safeguard and finish up with Mud Shot.
