Hmm, now that I'm trying to recreate some of my old team (Ninjask and Shedinja first), I was wondering how Shedinja is handled now that Abilities are in play. Since it has Wonder Guard because it only has 1 HP, is it's health decreased in ASB?

I'd think that Shedinja gets 100HP like everyone else, since this is ANIME Style Battling and Shedinja has taken multiple hits in the show.

Yes, it still gets 100 HP. Its a larger threat (and nuisance) in ASB due to this-but its still not invincible. Since everyone has access to all moves, most every Pokemon has some means of damaging Shedinja.

Well, I guess it's a bit early to ask this of everyone here, but have any of the new Pokemon so far caught anyone's eye for one that they may go for once Black/White are released in North America next year?

Of all the new Pokemon I've seen, I have to admit that the Desert Crocodile Pokemon, Meguroko, looks really sweet, at this rate, due to its typing (Ground/Dark), I'm probably going to be choosing this one when the time for the Black/White giveaway comes. It may be in the distant future, but this is one I'm truly looking forward to.

IMHO, Mamebato looks much too similar to Starly. I suppose there are only so many variations you can make on passerine birds, but couldn't they just try a biiit harder? Maybe even not go with a grey/white palette two generations in a row?

My faves so far are Smugleaf, Zapra, Crocodune, and Crazypissedofffirething. Also, it's about fucking time we got a Fire/Dragon Pokemon.

I wonder if that means that when Pokemon Grey comes out, the leader of Reshiram/Zekrom will be an Ice/Dragon type, like Jeff suggested. You know, the old elemental trifecta.

Who knows, maybe Raticate will get an evolution that will make the new form part Dark as well as Normal. But then, 4x weakness to Fighting wouldn't be too great.

At the rate things are going, defnitely not until next year, Black/White are supposed to be released in North America sometime in Q2 of next year, so that's basically over the horizon, for now.

It's just a matter of patience, Rossy. We have several bridges to cross before we get to the next Pokemon giveaway (excluding the trees).

I checked earlier on GameFAQs when I was responding to Rossy's post, when something takes longer than most people think to come out (e.g. delays that push back the release date), they can get a bit annoying if there are many of them.

Hum say do you think the following Ideadas would have made for good Starters?

Alligator Grass > humanoid Alligator Grass > humanoid Alligator/fathered dinosaur and is also based off of awrestler. Grass/Dark

Fire belly Toad fire > humanoid Fire belly Toad > humanoid Fire belly Toad and is also based off of a Ninja. Fire/Psychic

Duck Water > humanoid Duck water > humanoid Duck and is also based offof a Pirate. water/Fighting

See I was thinking gave freak could have did something like those for the Sevii Islands instead of adding them them onto Kanto...

Im a big fan of Otters, so i was so psyched to hear that Mijumaru was gonna be the water starter, its like yes! an otter pokemon....but to me it looks too damn cute that i almost dont like it! lol.....

I would also love it, because i dont think there is one, if a Steel/Ice type came out...i think that would be a most interesting combination.

And who knows, they'll probably release a few more Eevee-lutions...i was SO HAPPY when Leafeon came out, and now Id love to see a Steel one....
