Normally I'd be happy to battle, but I've practically overused my team already so I'm waiting on points to spread some new life amongst it. I'd be happy to ref for you though.
Ya, as people can see, ive kind of molded right back into ASB. For my first battle back, I would like my challenger to make the rules. The only rule i am making is that he sends out first.
Anyone?

Much thanks to you RL, so any challenger??
ill challenge you if thats ok
rules:
no toxic or rest
DQ=3 days
arena is a square mile of heavily forested area
I'll start with my male shiny Duskull
alrighty then... i will send out...
Bongo, my male Slakoth!
First off id like you to make it hot with Sunny Day. Follow it up with two Fire Blasts. If the little creep changes the weather to rain, make sure to use two water pulses instead.
ok ill start with will-o-wisp, followed by curse, then a shadow ball
P.S. how many pokemon we using?
why dont we do 4v4![]()
Let me elaborate on the arena a little more (especially since you've commanded fire attacks straight away). It is a square mile of dense forest. There are a variety of trees growing in the forest, all different shapes and sizes. The majority of the trees are very tall, and have relatively thin trunks. Because they are so tall, they have created something of a canopy over the forest, allowing light to filter through in large patches in some places, but leaving shadowy patches in other. The ground is littered with moss covered rocks and broken branches, but underfoot is a mixture of soft soil and shrubbery (NI!). While the forest area is made especially for League Battles, nobody wants to see it burnt down, which is why Pokemon Rangers are always nearby ready to extinguish forest fires if they get out of control. Any pokemon that gets in the way of a fire being extinguished will take 5% damage as the Ranger's pokemon knocks them aside. Any pokemon found to be purposely starting a forest fire will be attacked by the Ranger's pokemon for up to 15% damage outside of Damage Caps (which I set at 40%).
I'll hopefully get a reffing done for you tonight, if not then tomorrow evening.
...aww!
can we use abilities?
If you do please decide so I can adjust them into the reffing appropriately before I post it.
Actually, you really should have asked this before you'd made attacks. Since Slakoth's ability is truant, having them active will require DCM to recall his attacks, and the same goes for you.
ya ima say no abilities, not because slakoths ability is traunt, but because we didnt establish before we attacked, and that would just screw everything up. So ima so no abilities. Its bad enough im getting 15% damage due to my pyro ness lmao!
ok fine with me
ROUND ONE
In this dense forest sunlight isn't too common, but when Bongo is finished it'll be a big deal. Tiny flickers of red and gold light, like embers dancing n the wind, rise off his body and flock to the sky at high speed. As if it were coming out for the first time, the sun blazes with light and the temperature and level of light in the forest takes a significant step up. The lazy sloth pokemon smiles dimly and basks in the sunlight. Duskull doesn't think it's that impressive. He can create flames of his own, although they're not really the same kind. His single eye flicks back and forth between sockets, and flickering blue flames appear around his body. With a blink of his eye, the flames are surrounding Bongo. They close in on the pokemon and he groans as scorch marks are left across his back, his blackened fur suddenly feeling worse in the sun, not better.
Instead of giving in to the heat, Bongo uses the burn on his body to funnel fire into an attack. Duskull doesn't seem to be moving, rather just focusing his single red eye on the Slakoth. A five pronged star of fire sweeps across the forest floor, setting the dry twigs alight and blackening the moss. The centre envelops Duskull, while the ends taper off and disperse in the air. Angered by this, Duskull catches Bongo's eye. They two lock contact and Duskull mutters an ancient and horrific curse. Smoke billows out of his body and flies towards Bongo. The slakoth tries to stop it, but it ignores all his efforts and sinks into him. Suddenly he feels like he's being stabbed from the inside, as if something were trying to cut its way out. Combined with the burn, it was not a good feeling. Duskull takes a moment to regain his composure, as he sacrificed some of his own health to fuel the Curse.
Using his foe's distress to his advantage, Duskull begins to form a ball of ghostly energy in the air above him. With a flick of his arm, the ball flies towards Bongo.. only for it to dissolve as soon as it touches him. The Skaloth raises an eyebrow, then rolls his eyes. Ghost attacks against a normal type? Duskull's gaze tightens as he grimaces. With a deep breath, Bongo sends another five pronged attack at Duskull. The ghost type is once again enveloped in the flames, and in a twisted turn of events, leave the ghost type scorched and burnt. As what's left of the attack spreads into the forest, from nowhere a Ranger appears with a Poliwhirl, and it quickly puts out the small fires with Water Sport. The Ranger looks at Darth Cookie Monster with disdain, who just shrugs back.
Each round Curse will deduct 5% Health and 5% Energy.
If at any point Duskull reverses the Curse (by performing it again), it will regain the 25% health it lost.
Spade its ur turn for attacks
ok um duskull lets go with faint attack x3
Alright. Lets use Torment first of all, then lets change the waether to Rain with Rain Dance, and then finish with water pulse.![]()
bumping for spade. sorry for double post
...oh woops i ment to say, bumping for RL, sorry bout that Spaders.
ROUND TWO
With the forest no longer burning, the battle can continue. Duskull fades away into invisibility, leaving Bongo looking for his enemy. The ghost pokemon reappears behind his foe, and slaps his ghostly limbs across the Slakoth's back before vanishing and reappearing again back where he started from. Bongo stares down his enemy and mumbles something incoherent. But it doesn't seem to do anything. Oh, that's a pity, it's not really tormenting when you don't say it properly.
Well Bongo looks a little disappointed now, but Duskull smirks and performs the same attack again. This time he reappears right in front of Bongo and bonks him on the head. Oh that's a little mean, but I suppose mockery is just as useful in battle as brute force. Bongo sighs and looks up to the sky. Droplets of water energy swirl around his body, and like rain falling upwards, they rise into the sun filled sky. With the sun still shining brightly, it's too much to just replace with rain, but rain starts to fall lightly, blanketing the area in falling water, which seems to please the Ranger watching from nearby.
Again, Duskull vanishes into nothing, appearing in front of Bongo once again to spite him. This time Bongo has other things in mind, and as Duskull fades into vision again a massive column of water suddenly hits him, and embedded into that jet was a pulse of sonic waves. Struck without warning and not expecting it at all, Duskull takes the full brunt of the wave, ending up with his brain addled and his wits wobbled. Bongo breaths a sigh of relief as his opponent final takes a hit, then howls in pain as both his burn and the effect of the curse sends pain stabbing through his body. Dkusll, though soaking wet, still feels his own burn as it too sends burning energy through it's phantom body.
Alright Water Pulse - Thunder - Water Pulse.
If the weather is changed again, back to Sun, then Flamethrower x3
duskull use faint attack timess 3 again!
Bump RaZoR LeAf
Same as other one.
Bump
Is it ok if we get a subref?
Ya seriously...
Sorry for double, mods can hollar at me later, but Rl... its been a rlly long time.
Alright cool. I did ask for one, but... nobody
ROUND THREE
In the falling rain Duskull has no plans on changing what has already proven to be an effective battle technique. With the rain falling both pokemon are getting drenched, Bongo takes a deep breath and sends a massive jet pulse of water at Duskull, which collects rain as it travels, before sending the pokemon crashing backwards into a tree.. or through a tree anyway. The ghost's eye reddens and he vanishes into the shadows. Bongo glances around again, waiting for his foe to reappear, which he finally does, several feet in the air above his original spot. Flailing, he falls down to the ground with a humph, his eye rolling around in his skull.
Bongo smirks at the ghost's misfortune. He begins to channel energy. It bubbles through him and his fur rises up on it's back. Sparks begin to flicker from the points as Duskull vanishes again. He reappears beside Bongo again and swipes across his face, but before he can vanish again, a massive bolt of electricity blasts out of Bongo's body, completely engulfing Duskull sending waves of electrical energy through the pokemon. The blast vanishes and Duskull is left blackened and smoky and pretty frazzled.
Left knocked back by the attack, Bongo attacks again quickly.. at least quick enough for such a lazy pokemon. A jet of water combined with a supersonic pulse, collecting more water as it travels through the rain, slamming into Duskull once more. Instead of just being hit by the water, Duskull feels a the full brunt of the sonic pulse, leaving him hurting all over. He vanishes again and reappears beside Bongo, but only manages to hit him partially. He vanishes into the shadows and reappears nearby. As he suffers from his burn and suddenly realises how incredibly weak he feels. Bongo howls as the curse rolls through his body, and the burn scorches him too.
Just a reminder, if at any point Duskull reverses the Curse (by performing it again), it will regain the 25% health it lost.
Stick with faint attack duskull!
Torment - Water Pulse x2
ROUND FOUR
Duskull, severally weakened but still with the energy to battle, vanishes into the shadows and reappears beside Bongo. Again. The ghost type swipes a phantom slap across the normal type. Again. Bongo is getting sick of this, constant repetition of the same attack, and before the Duskull vanishes again, the two lock eyes.. eye. o words are said, but the stern, dark look Bongo gives the ghost is enough to torment it's very being. The ghost vanishes and reappears nearby, looking decidedly rattled by the exchange. The rain falling from above finally comes to an end, with the last few drops splashing down onto the muddy floor. Since neither pokemon ha really moved, the mud is untouched, which means it's going to be extra messy if someone does decide to move around in it!
Duskull gets ready to vanish again, but there's something in the back of his mind telling him no. He struggles against the sensation, but finds he simply cannot perform the attack, which leads him wide open and defenceless. He looks at Bongo with abject defeat. Bongo gives a little shrug and Duskull closes his eye and waits for the inevitable. Bongo lets loose a jet of water, that slams into Duskull knocking the pokemon out cold. As the ghost type lies on the ground, soaking, Bongo howls as the curse and burn that both still affect him, send tendrils of pain through his entire body. Duskull is returned, and Spade has to chose his next pokemon.
