As we begin the eighth round of this battle, we now have a newcomer to the field. The hail falls in short intervals, but it speeds up and becomes a true hazard. Damn Chaos, did ya need the hail?

Well they can't ear me. Does not help that Spectre now tosses out a brisk wind that gives an nasty chill to Dratini, while the Dratini goes hard and hits Spectre with a nice Blizzard. Yipe.

The haul coems down in sheets, plunking at Dratini's hide. But he manages to persevere on, spotting his next competitor for a quick moment. Its in the air, floating about. No matter. He slips and wriggles aroud, trying to preform an intricate dance. But there seems to be no benefit from it. Huh, hat's weird.

Froslass snickers in the hail, reaping her just rewards.

The snickering keyed him in, and Dratini slithered around until he was right under Froslass, before flipping and bashing the ghost with a heavy Iron Tail. Dazed and shocked it got that hit in, Froslass commanded the hailing sky to drop a deluge of Snow and ice and hate and pain all over Dratini. It came down with a vengeance, and suddenly, that little Hail plunk didn't seem to matter so much.

That..was cold. Dratini managed to wriggle out of the newly acquired snow dunw, when suddenly a haphazard Blizzard was thrown at him, full force. This 'lass was no joke! Dratini felt its body freezing up and with all it could muster, it tried to dance its way out of the situation.

It worked, its body moving enough and keeping warm enough to ward off freezing, but DAMN it was cold now.

Freezing conditions were not ideal for Dratini, and as such he curled up into a tight ball and tried to weather the storm. Well, Froslass wasn't having it. A massive Blizzard was unleashed upon the tired Dratini, and encased it in snow. But Dratini- he was sound asleep.

Dratini snores along and that's when the bad luck struck a well aimed Ice Beam-and froze him outright. That's no good. Dratini couldn't do a damn thing.

With both Pokemon up and at them, this battle could resume as planned. Froslass, the real one went for the deflection counter, aiming lights of a mysterious kind at Ditto. The little clone fires off a shocking ray of Electricity, as the lights hit, leaving Froslass singed pretty bad.

Augh! Confused again. Ditto shook his head in pain, but there was no use. Flying into the ground doesn't help either, little dude. But Froslass was crippled right now, so that's ok as well.

Froslass regains control of her body again, and makes sure to release a momentous Thunder, just to mirror what happened to her a short while ago. Ditto goes reeling back, but manages to burst forward with an unseen energy. It barrels into Froslass, delivering a swift Payback that really hurt the phantom.

Hrm. This Ditto is oddly resilient. I'm sure its still fighting confusion, but at the onset of that Shadowball making Froslass, it darts forth and punches Froslass right in the face. Or course, the sphere goes flying and rails Ditto in the gut, but damn that was a powerful hit.

Froslass abandons the confusion plan and now starts spouting off at the mouth. This ticks Ditto off, and Ditto flies right for her. A punch to the jaw was all Forslass needed to realize this was not a bright idea.
