Sensing her end very soon, Opal closes her eyes, ignoring her safeguard, and begins resting to ease her wounds [ +10HP, -10PP, SLP Opal ]. As she slumbers, Rawk fires an advantageous blast of fighting energy that easily takes back all the health Opal just recovered [ -12HP Opal / -8PP Rawk Hawk ].

Rawk once more continues the attacks, this time slamming into the sleeping snake with his rocky elbow [ -10HP Opal / -8PP Rawk Hawk ]. Opal merely murmurs to herself before slamming the Hawk with her watery tail once again [ -14HP Rawk Hawk / +10HP, -10PP Opal ].

Rawk pulls himself back together, but before he can attack a third time, Opal begins snoring loudly, interrupting his movement entirely [ FLINCH ]. The round ends as Rawk shakes off the attack [ -4HP Rawk Hawk / +10HP, -10PP Opal ].

With his foe asleep, Rawk is easily able to plan his attacks wisely. As he focuses on his next attack, he is distracted by Opal's loud snoring [ -4HP Rawk Hawk ], and loses his concentration. Ignoring the angry screams of his trainer, Rawk instead blasts his dragon foe with a beam of fighting energy that easily entangles her [ -12HP Opal / -10PP Rawk Hawk ]. He then clasps his hands to his ears hoping to avoid the dragonair's painful snoring [ -4HP Rawk Hawk ]. The Hawk ends round 62 by tackling Opal fiercely -- a blast of energy follows up, knocking the snoozing Opal into a wall [ -15HP Opal / -13PP Rawk Hawk ].

Opal's eyes open, and she pulls herself back together before slinking her watery tail into the Hawk [ -14HP Rawk Hawk / -8PP Opal ].

ROUND SIXTY-FOUR

Rawk Hawk recovers his lost strength and Opal is replaced by Grumpig, a... grumpig. Before Grumpig can even think to prepare his attack, however, Rawk starts pummeling him with insults, driving him mad [ -3PP Rawk Hawk / +20% Atk, +25% Con Grumpig ]. Grumpig angrily throws his body forward, slamming into Rawk with his mass [ -7HP Rawk Hawk / -5PP Grumpig ].

After the tackle, Grumpig cools off and keeps his mind at ease, effectively canceling out the effects of the previous "attack" [ -5PP, -20% Atk, -25% Con, +10% SpA, +10% SpD Grumpig ]. Rawk takes this opportunity to come at the psychic pig with his talons trickling with dark energy. SLASH!, the bird cripples the unmoving pig, knocking him to the ground with a critical hit [ -14HP Grumpig / -6PP Rawk Hawk ].

Second verse, same as the first -- this time with a ghostly flavor. Rawk Hawk once more slices Grumpig with his ghastly claws, again knocking Grumpig to the ground with yet another critical hit [ -14HP Grumpig / -6PP Rawk Hawk ]. With two wild gashes on his torso now, Grumpig decides that enough is enough and pins the Hawk down with his mind and sends shivering shockwaves to his psyche [ -15HP Rawk Hawk / -5PP Grumpig ].

As Grumpig begins wooing the audience and ticking off Rawk in the process [ -3PP Grumpig / Rawk Hawk Taunted ], the speedier fire chicken dats toward him quickly, knocking him off his feet in the process [ -4HP Grumpig / -2PP Rawk Hawk ].

The Hawk then slashes once more with his ghost-aligned right claw, causing considerable damage to the psypig [ -11HP Grumpig / -6PP Rawk Hawk ]. Grumpig then decides to hinder Rawk's physical prowess by erecting a barrier to protect him [ -6PP, +Reflect Grumpig ].

Again, Rawk slashes at the pig with now a darkness-enhanced attack. The slash hits critically, but still only does half damage against Grumpig's reflective shield [ -7HP Grumpig / -6PP Rawk Hawk ]. Grumpig smirks before closing his eyes and locating his foe with his mind. He leaps forward and immediately headbutts the firery chicken in the torso, knocking him down [ -12HP Rawk Hawk / -5PP Grumpig ]. The audience goes wild!

ROUND SIXTY-SIX

As this year-long match between Blademaster and everyone else continues, people start to get antsy. Rawk Hawk, despite his anger, awaits Grump's attack. When pigs fly, indeed, as the psypig throws his body calmly towards the fighting pokemon. As he does so, he is wrapped up in a pink-hued aura. But Rawk is waiting for it, and blasts the pokemon with a firery explosion [ -11HP Grumpig / -8PP Rawk Hawk ]. The blast doesn't halter Grump's movement too much, and he still collides bluntly with the firemon [ -11HP Rawk Hawk / -5PP Grumpig ].

Grumpig pulls himself back up and faces the fire chicken, before closing his eyes. Alas!, the Hawk leaps up into the air, forcing Grumpig to change strategies completely. Grump instead hurls a series of electric shocks at the leaping pokemon, striking him weakly [ -6HP Rawk Hawk / -4PP Grumpig ]. Rawk takes the hit in stride before swatting at the air, sending several sharp currents back at the psypig [ -6HP Grumpig / -4PP Rawk Hawk ].

Third verse, same as the first. Grump flings his body forward and Rawk braces himself with his explosive gauntlets [ -11HP, -5PP Grumpig / -11HP, -8PP Rawk Hawk ].

The Hawk begins the next round by firing off a flamethrower that wraps around the stoic Grumpig. At the last second, Grump surrounds himself in a metallic aura. He takes the flamethrower painfully [ -8HP Grumpig / -5PP Rawk Hawk ] before shooting off a more vibrant flame at his foe. The heavy fire charges and grasps onto Rawk easily [ -14HP Rawk Hawk / -8PP Grumpig ]. Grumpig attempts to segue this into a psychic attack, but his mind is too beat from the previous counterattack; he must relax for a second.

As his foe does so, Rawk shoots off a powerful star-shaped blast of fire that completely engulfs the psypig without regret [ -11HP Grumpig / -7PP Rawk Hawk ]. The pig staggers for a few steps, and, combines a psychic wave with a psychic burst, knocking Rawk Hawk off his feet easily [ -15HP + -9HP Rawk Hawk / -14PP Grumpig ]. The Hawk doesn't get up.

Blademaster is a tough opponent, yes, but I can improvise on my old plan once my turn comes. I have plans to use a move that Rawk Hawk cannot use, that although I hate to use, may be my "secret weapon" here.

And that move is a secret...for now.

papabopp, I'm not spectating against you or Blademaster, but you might be in for a tough fight. Blademaster isn't the only ASBer here who is as tough as nails when battling. Either way, you need to fight hard to have a chance, it'll help you.

Rawk is healed again, and on his fifteenth match. Instead of taking Croconaw on straight up, Rawk goes for a differnt approach. As Hydro runs in to try adn throw a shower on his plans, Rawk flips off the top rope, into teh rafters. The crowd cheers the athleticism, and Rawk raises his hand in triumph, before bashing the Roof a few times. Those focused punches do the job, breaking the roof after four good hits.

Hydro stared, and went on, splattering itself with Mud for the moment.

Proud of its mud casing, Hydro now began to dance about. As it danced, Rawk called out into the world, and forced the Sun to come and beam down the hole it continued to open in the roof. The hole was big enough to cast a deep shadow on the stage due to Rawk Hawk blocking the sun.

Glad with his work, Rawk then seemed to just quit, and fall from the roof. The stage was dumbfounded as Rawk just opened his arms and fell, face first, toward the ring. Hydro grinned, glad to feel stronger, and surged up toward Rawk.

Rawk then opened his eyes and quickly tucked his hands to his sides. Instantly, a thick ball of energy rained into view and Hydro 's eyes opened wide. Hydro collided with Rawks foot, giving Rawk enough tilt, time, and thermal assistance to fire that Solarbeam straight on Hydro, slamming him to and through the ring.

Rawk lands on the deformed ring, to obvious cheers and applause. Hydro however, is no slouch and quickly springs up from the crater its created. Rawk runs back to where the sun is beaming down, and sets his body for a second Solarbeam. Hydro quickly dances ad shakes and is rattled by a second Beam, but the sunbeam-that poor sunbeam gets taken over by stormy weather! Eww now waters leaking in.

Pride up, Hydro laughs as Rawk has to find a new method of attack. Hydro gets up and stomps over to the avian wannabe and spits at him, just as Rawk conjures up a orbital mass of power. These small orbs fly into Croconaw and knock him back, splattering with the same effect he just spat up. Huh.

Not the best Hidden Power. Rawk shrugs as some of the stands clear around the massive hole. We'll patch it up by next round folks, hones. Rawk jumps off the top rope and goes for a head Thunder Punch. Hydro now, is fast enough to skillfully evade the punch with a slide flip, and strike Rawk in the face with his tail! Rawk holds his face, that burned!

protect any time if rawk tries for a status inflicting move, also if it sunny days use rain dance
but i guess dragon dance-aqua tail and if he uses a direct attack move, then aqua jet outa the way of it.
