Onix growls, while its tail points to the ground... Maybe what is causing this is in the ground? Maybe it IS the ground?

Temporarily recalling Sonikku, you send Puck and Marauder on a routine patrol of the area, while you start digging. Noticing what your trying to do, Spotty here assists by digging a nice starter.

Its pretty dark down that hole... Looks like its a maze of tunnels continues for miles below the surface... You notice other pokemon coming up towards the light. Some with the spots, some without. You notice that they are touching each other occasional.

Perhaps this isn't contagious via touch?
