We enter Ford Field, a battlefield that Charles Legend has picked out. His opponent, Dub, won the coin toss, meaning that Charles himself had to choose his pokémon. His initial choice was a towering dragonite named Myth. Dub, meanwhile, went with his starter, a porygon named Digit. A David v. Goliath match was sure to begin... if David was a mechanical duck and Goliath was a dopey dragon. But I digress--
The legendary dragonite, Alg-- er, Myth, stamps his feet on the ground, creating several illusions that mirror his own majestic appearance [ +75% Eva, -6PP Myth ], while Digit merely circles around all of them, gathering speed [ +20% Spd, -5PP Digit ].
The second verse is just a direct copy of the first -- it's like the songwriter got lazy or something. Myth creates even more dopplegangers to confuse the electronic duck [ +11% Eva, -6PP Myth ]. Seven dragonite now stare into Digits eyes as it continues circling around each of them [ +20% Spd, -5PP Digit ].
Satisfied with its level of speed, Digit begins to calculate. With a 14 percent chance of success, Digit wildly fires an ice beam at one of the seven dragons, tagging a clone [ -2% Eva Myth / -7PP Digit ]. Myth roars a loud roar before charging up for a special fighting technique. The energy ray is shot out, tagging Digit in the torso for heavy damage [ -18HP Digit / -10PP Myth ]!

Digit, perhaps taking a page from Myth's book, summons its own volley of clones that circle around its body [ +75% Eva, -6PP Digit ], while Myth proceeds to dance about, increasing his majesty as he does so [ +10% Atk, +10% Spd, -5PP Myth ]. This goes on for a bit [ +11% Eva, -6PP Digit / +10% Atk, +10% Spd, -5PP Myth ].
When it comes time for the actual attacks to come in, Digit lets out a robotic chirping, sending off a series of lightning bolts that devour all of Myth's clones before homing in on him [ -6HP, -84% Eva Myth / -4PP Digit ]. Myth stammers back before taking aim at one of the seven porygon. Without even a moment's hesitation, he lets the attack fly, completely destroying a clone [ -2% Eva Digit / -10PP Myth ].

As Myth prepares himself more and more for a devastating fighting technique, Digit changes its entire elemental structure to become a fighting-type pokémon to avoid the brunt of the damage [ -5PP, Fighting Digit ]. The dragonite fires off the concussive beam of energy [ -14HP Digit / -10PP Myth ].
Digit fires off two more ice beams while Myth does the same with two focus blasts -- they each connect and each do incredible damage [ -14HP + -14HP, -14HP Digit / -18HP + -18HP, -20PP Myth ].

Digit readies its swan song as Myth fires off one last focus blast. The furious blast of fighting energy collides with the porygon, dealing heavy damage [ -18HP Digit / -10PP Myth ]. Digit reels back for a few seconds before locking onto the dragon pokémon, firing off a powerful blast of ice energy. The blizzard engulfs Myth, easily sending to the ground [ -40HP Myth / -29PP Digit ], winning the battle for Dub.
C~Dub is the winner, taking four points and moving to round two!
Charles Legend gets two points.
