Finneon readies herself for her second round, but without a body of water to surf on, her attack ultimately goes nowhere. Litwick laughs at her struggle before realizing that, without digits, and especially over a wooded floor that cannot be dug into easily, he too is out of luck [ -2HP Litwick ].

The candlemon prepares for the worst when a renagade blast of water energy comes flying his way. His girth halves and the water just barely grazes his side as a result [ -9HP, +20% Eva, -5PP, -2HP Litwick / -10PP Finneon ].

Finneon fumes before telekinetically lifting the waters previously used and throwing them back at Litwick. The water is much more concentrated this time around, and no matter what size Litwick is [ +20% Eva, -5PP, -2HP Litwick ], he just can't seem to evade this attack [ -10HP Litwick / -5PP Finneon ].

Finneon struggles to find a bead on that tiny candle. Going for broke, she fires a blast of water that sails right over Lit's head [ -4PP Finneon ]. In return, Litwick strikes back with an annoying burn [ +3% Brn Finneon / -4PP, -3HP Litwick ].

Finn rages, firing off another water pulse that manages to strike this time [ -9HP Litwick / -4PP, -1HP Finneon ]. Lit telekinetically homes in on the burn that's festering inside her body, causing her to howl in pain [ -10HP Finneon / -3PP, -3HP Litwick ].

Wanting so much for this candle to melt, Finn lets loose with one last water pulse that, once again, completely misses its intended target [ -4PP, -1HP Finneon ]. Finn rages once more before keeling over in pain from Lit's hex [ -10HP Finneon / -3PP, -3HP Litwick ].

Round 13
Finneon concentrates hard, hoping that this next hit will, in fact, hit. She pulls back and fires off a heavily concentrated blast of water that collides with the ghostly candlemon, causing incredible damage [ -18HP Litwick / -9PP, -1HP Finneon ]. Lit, knowing that his time is nearing completion, fires off an orb of grass energy that strikes the fish easily [ -12HP Finneon / -6PP, -2HP Litwick ]; unfortunately, the poison finally does him in.

Litwick falls, and Ayeun wins her second battle -- they both recall their pokémon, and Ayeun is first to choose her next.

Round 14
We enter the fourth round of this possibly-nine-rounded battle between Ayeun (choosing Monferno) and Chaos (choosing Tyrant -- who's immediately poisoned by the barbs [ +3% Tox Tyrant ]). The two pokémon size up one another before going for their set of attacks.

Tyrant begins by summoning a rainstorm. It's completely intimidating, but also completely outside [ -7PP, -1HP Tyrant ]. Monferno laughs and claps his hands together like a child, giving Tyrant the confidence and the desire to pull it off again [ -5PP Monferno ].

Wanting not to fail his foe, Tyrant attempts to summon up another rain storm, but again, it's completely outdoors [ -7PP, -1HP Tyrant ]. He eventually comes to the realization that Monferno was playing coy when he is enveloped by a flaming tornado [ -8HP Tyrant / -5PP Monferno ].

Frustrated with his foe, Tyrant forgoes the rain dance and instead fires off an aqua blast that knocks Monferno off his feet [ -9HP Monferno / -4PP, -1HP Tyrant ]. Monferno instead retalliates with another fiery tornado [ -8HP Tyrant / -5PP Monferno ].

Monferno lets loose an intimidating warcry before engulfing himself in a passionate fire. The monkey then charges toward the immobile ghost as it telepathically hurls the poisonous barbs onto Ayeun's side of the playroom. The barbs smack the monkey in the brow [ +3% Tox Monferno / -6PP, -2HP Tyrant ], but he still blitzes Tyrant, causing quite a bit of damage to both of them [ -12HP Tyrant / -7PP, -3HP, -1HP Monferno ].

Monferno pulls himself back together before curling up in a ball and tackling his ghostly foe [ -6HP Tyrant / -4PP, -1HP Monferno ]. Tyrant retalliates by hurling the fire monkey to the other side of the room with telepathy [ -12HP Monferno / -6PP, -2HP Tyrant ].

The monferno again picks himself back up and charges forward in a blitzing fashion. A fiery aura envelopes him once more as he tackles his opponent harshly [ -12HP Tyrant / -6PP, -3HP, -1HP Monferno ]. Tyrant once again responds by throwing Monferno to the other side of the room [ -12HP Monferno / -7PP, -2HP Tyrant ].

Monferno unleashes a sudden fire whip that clashes against the ghost pokémon readily [ -9HP Tyrant / -5PP, -2HP Monferno ]. Tyrant responds by giving the fire monkey a powerful headache [ -12HP Monferno / -6PP, -3HP Tyrant ].

Monferno pulls himself together and snaps his fingers, engulfing his body in flames once again. He charges forward and tackles the ghost with a powerful blitz [ -12HP Tyrant / -6PP, -3HP, -2HP Monferno ] as Tyrant strikes back with a water pulse [ -9HP Monferno / -4PP, -3HP Tyrant ].

Monferno, feeling quite tired at this point, strikes with another flamethrower [ -9HP Tyrant / -5PP, -2HP Monferno ] as the spiritomb hits him with a shadow ball [ -8HP Monferno / -5PP, -3HP Tyrant ].

Monferno, ready to end this round, throws his body right at the spiritomb, who just lies in wait. Tyrant's body glows with dark energy that Monferno merely ignores. The fire chimp punches forward, defeating the ghost pokémon [ -6HP Tyrant / -3PP, -3HP Monferno ]. But before Monferno can celebrate, an ethereal force stabs his chest and knocks him out as well [ -26HP Monferno ].

With both pokémon knocked out, no point is awarded to either side. Chaos chooses his next pokémon, followed by Ayeun. Then Chaos attacks.

Chaos chooses Smack, his infamous kangaskhan, while Ayeun goes with an unnamed, ungender specified sentret... who trips over the toxic spikes [ +3% Toxic Sentret ] without realizing it.

Smack, already to go, charges toward the ferret with her fist ready to punch. However, just as she throws said fist forward, Sentret erects a protective barrier, keeping her safe [ -5PP, -1HP Sentret / -4PP Smack ].

The nimble sentret's protective barrier vanishes as she gives Smack quite a nasty headbutt [ -8HP Smack / -5PP, -1HP Sentret ]. But Smack remains stable, and retalliates with a dizzying whallop [ -7HP Sentret / -4PP Smack ].

Smack smirks as Sentret hammers her body with a stiff tail bashing [ -11HP Smack / -5PP, -1HP Sentret ], and counters with a devastating drain punch that saps away more of Sentret's health [ -11HP Sentret / -5PP, +5HP Smack ].

Sentret sniffs about before finding some dust in the playroom. With a swift swat, she manages to hurl the dust right into the eyes of... Smack's substitution technique [ -2PP, -2HP Sentret / -5PP, -10HP Smack / +10HP Substitute ].

Sentret destroys Smack's substitute with one swift attack [ -10HP Substitute / -5PP, -2HP Sentret ] as the kangaskhan retalliates with a powerful punch that sends Sentret into the toy chest [ -11HP Sentret / -5PP Smack ].

Sentret, quite dizzy, pulls herself free from the chamber of toys as Smack makes her way towards her. Another swift tail-bashing ensues [ -11HP Smack / -5PP, -2HP Sentret ] just as Smack uses drain punch to regenerate her body [ -11HP Sentret / -5PP, +5HP Smack ].
