‡ Pre-Round ‡
‡ Round 27 ‡
It’s come down to this. Yami and T-Bone peer at one another without betraying a hint of emotion as they prepare to exchange their final set of attacks. The latter presses his palms together and begins to generate a red halo of energy around them as he charges up a perilous Focus Blast. Ready for this, Yami demonstrates exceptional timing as he commands tendrils to worm their way up through the earth and latch onto the mighty Tyranitar. At the last moment, just as T-Bone gears up to cut loose with the Focus Blast, the shoots give a sharp tug and T-Bone is yanked down to the ground. However, because of his superior Accuracy, T-Bone is still able to aim the Focus Blast even as he’s falling. His attack connects with Yami just as he hits the ground, blasting the Zoroark off his feet as well.
The battlers exchange fierce growls as they get back up to their feet. It’s on.
Yami: <-18 HP; -7 EP>
T-Bone: <-18 HP; -10 EP>
Despite the fact that Yami is faster than that big hunk of rock known as T-Bone, he nonetheless holds himself steady as he waits for his opponent’s next attack. Once again, T-Bone charges up another powerful ranged attack as Yami commands shoots to poke up through the earth and immure the heavier Pokemon’s legs. Just as T-Bone is about to deliver the strike, the Grass Knot tugs him down to the ground, but he once again manages to cut loose with his pulsating beam of light mid-fall. The Focus Blast decimates Yami just as T-Bone hits the ground.
Their eyes flicker shut in unison as both Pokemon are defeated.
Yami: <-13 HP; -5 EP; -1 HP from fatigue>
T-Bone: <-7 HP; -10 EP>
‡ Post-Round ‡
And with that, you have both successfully killed one another.
Good work. Your victories net you two points apiece and you also receive a point for each of your losses and a point for having tied this last one. Thus, seven points each. A perfect tie. I get ten for having reffed.
Aaaaand...
That's all!
