    CUEBALL'S SAFARI ADVENTCHA!

    Trolgar Mountain
A tall mountain that plays host to the TMPL Archive. While there are mountain pokemon on the outside, inside the Archive itself you'll find lots of Electric types, as well as plenty of Steel types.

    ‡ Pre-Round ‡

    Acquisitions

    ‡ Round 44 ‡

Unfortunately, not everyone is as helpful as Bulbasaur and Torterra. Magby gives you a judgmental looking before outright ignoring you, turning away to watch as his friend scales the mountain.

    How do you proceed?

    > Approach Aron
    > Search for a trail
    > Use Rock Climb

    CYNDER'S SAFARI ADVENTCHA!

    Shinsuke Volcano
This Volcanic Island - previously hidden away can now be seen from the shore. A massive pool of magma lies deep in its center, but one can walk down quite a ways and find a variety of Fire Types enjoying the heated tunnels. Some hardier Flying Pokemon line the edges of the Volcano as well. A tall Pagoda stands on the Island as well, the only man-made structure here.

    ‡ Pre-Round ‡

    ‡ Round 62 ‡

You hop upon Aikoku as he flies you, Yami and Yurei into the cove. Here, the water lets off plumes of steam and you suspect the same magma that powers the island volcano is heating the water. Once you're inside, Aikoku lets you down on a rocky ledge to the side. You squint through the steam-saturated air for any sign of treasure...

...until there, glittering against the far wall, you see a gleaming trove of precious gems.

    How do you proceed?

    Well then.

Aproach Chimcar, describe Joltik, ask where I can find one.

Yami, make yourself invisible with Illusion and grab just 4 of the gems, not too big, make them invisible too, and leave without any notice.

Yami uses his convenient ability once more and becomes entirely invisible as he approaches the pile of gems. He grabs one ruby, one sapphire, one emerald and one diamond and they, too, become invisible. You then hear him return to you.

Well, that was certainly suspiciously easy!

Yes, it was suspiciously easy. That's why we're getting out of here ASAP, with Yami making us invisible again so that we won't be caught, and going straight back to Houndour.

    ‡ Round 64 ‡

Before Yami can kick his ability into action once more, you hear the piercing scream of a Skarmory echo throughout the cove. A sudden shape whizzes out of a dark corner and dive-tackles you and your Pokemon. Though Yami is invisible and thus cannot be seen, he's close enough in proximity to your party members that the steel-capped wings of your assailant graze against him, dropping his Illusion in one go.

    Looks like you've been busted.

Suddenly, two accomplices appears out of the shadows, a Raticate and a shiny Weezing. They both lunge forward with speedy Tackle attacks. Raticate strikes Yami, causing the gems to fly out of his paws and plummet into the water below. Weezing, however, collides with Yurei with greater force. You watch as your Ninetales falls into the water below. She is obscured beneath the tossing waves.

Quick, Aikoku, you and I are going to go after Yurei. You can fly faster than I can dive, plus we can easily get back up. Yami, hold them all off with whatever attacks are neccessary.

You hop upon Aikoku's back and swoop down through the rising steam to the crashing waves below. Before you can search the surf for your Ninetales, however, Skarmory quickly follows. She begins attacking you with a reckless Drill Peck. Aikoku does his best to keep you from being thrown off, but he's having difficulties.

Meanwhile, back up on the ledge, Yami is facing a tricky situation of his own. He breathes out two Flamethrowers to keep Raticate and Weezing at bay, but they won't be beaten that easily. They respond with a Hyper Beam apiece, blasting Yami with tremendous force. He is thrown from the ledge, but manages to swing out an arm and grabs onto the edge. Barely.

You watch as he dangles way up above you. Still, no sign of Yurei.

You wrap your arms around Bruiser's waste and, using his mighty Machop muscles, he begins scaling the mountain. It's exhausting work for him (and holding onto him isn't exactly a piece of cake, either), but he manages to work his way up to a ledge some fifty feet in the air. It's wide enough to allow for walking if you so choose.

With Pachirisu and Sketcher in such dire straits, you summon them to your side and leave Bellossom on the field. Both Pokemon are momentarily incapacitated by Paralysis, reducing this fight to a staring contest for only a minute or two. Once he's able to move, Electivire throws up a glistening Light Screen that hovers between him and Bellossom. She tries to suck some health out of him with Giga Drain, but the shimmering barrier weakens the move.

As she goes in for a second Giga Drain, Electivire scorches her mercilessly with a Flamethrower. Yikes!

Despite the Light Screen, Bellossom decides to go for another Giga Drain. It's again weakened, leaving her vulnerable to another Flamethrower. As the flames crackle around her, she finds her body locking up while Electivire merely continues the flaming assault.

Suddenly, it's Electivire's turn for Paralysis to kick in. Bellossom takes advantage of this opportunity to strike with another Giga Drain and, as Electivire's strength slips beneath the 1/4 mark, you decide to make your move.

With one toss, you suck up Electivire into an Ultra Ball. It hits the ground loudly and starts wiggling. And wiggling. And... click.

    It's done.

Sketcher uses Heal Bell and fires off a Heal Pulse at Pachirisu, who looks to be needing it the most.

Ok, before we go in, GAME PLAN!

Pachi, you will be up first. I want Bello and Sketcher on the sidelines.

*Checks to see if Pachi has picked up ANYTHING recently*

Sketcher, clear your pallet, then sketch:

    Heal bell
    Heal pulse
    Flame thrower
    Mean look
    Flash
    Gravity (because it sounds awesome!)

When you have all that sketched, we will go in!

    Trolgar Mountain

    ‡ Round 226 ‡

Once the necessary previsions have been made, your and your Pokemon make the trek toward Celebi's clearing. A nervous silence hangs between the four of you as anticipation wells up like a balloon inside your chest.

Soon, you step out into the mist. There in the center of the clearing you see a corona blazing green and pink. Celebi looks at you with compassionate eyes, tilts her head and smiles.

I have been waiting, Trainer, for longer than you can imagine. Millenia, perhaps. Even I cannot say. I have been waiting for a Trainer of satisfactory courage, decency and humility to serve as my Master. I believe I have found her at last in you.

However, I also require a Trainer of a sound tactical mind, one who will overcome all obstacles on the path to glory. Battle me, Trainer, and show me whether you might be that individual as well.

I wish you nothing but good fortune.

    CUEBALL'S SAFARI ADVENTCHA!

    ASB Archive: Interior
Insects and creepy-crawlies hang around the very ancient archive. Being quiet is key, for you may startle the Pokemon.

    ‡ Pre-Round ‡

    Acquisitions

    Available

    ‡ Round 53 ‡

Pleased that your clever thinking has paid off, you stroll through the doorway into the Archive. The floorboards are soft and creaky and every wall, shelf and surface seems to be coated in a heavy layer of dust. You see stacks upon stacks of video tapes, each of labeled. They appear to contain footage of old battles. As well, ancient documents seem to be lying around in heavy steel drawers, depicting Financial Tower transactions, VS. Seeker entries, records of old Christmas Trees and so on...

Suddenly, a Pineco leaps out of one of the shelves and startles you before hopping away. You can hear some scuttling coming from the next row of stacks.

    How do you proceed?

    > Follow Pineco
    > Follow the scuttling noise
    > Keep going
    > Leave

(Note: Am I allowed to buy more balls while I'm in the saf zone already? I kind of wanna catch that Skarmory :x)

Aikoku use whirlwind to try and hold the other pokemon off and hopefully help Yami climb back onto the cliff, and then Yami use a number of Night bursts on the pokemon that you can reach. If Aikoku gets the chance to attack as well, use attrract on Skarmory because you're such a stud, and Rock Slide on the other two. That might get her on our side, well at least less likely to attack.

I'll try to find Yurei, first by attempting to call her back into her pokeball, and if neccessary diving in after her. I don't want to lose one of my precious pokemon!

    ‡ Round 227 ‡

You send Pachirisu into fight first. Celebi inclines her head respectfully toward your little Electric-type squirrel and awaits an attack. Pachirisu's cheeks begin crackling with electric current and she aims the discharge right at Celebi, who throws up a shimmering pink shield. The Thunder Wave literally bounces right off the Magic Coat before returning to Pachirisu, causing instant Paralysis.

While Pachirisu finds her whole body locked up, Celebi begins to concoct a Nasty Plot. As Pachirisu sits there and watches her opponent strategize, her body slowly becomes increasingly limber until she's at last able to move. She darts in with a quick U-turn before being instantly subbed off the field. Bellossom enters in Pachirisu's stead. Celebi again inclines her head respectfully before firing off a powerful beam of pulsating red and green energy. The Signal Beam distorts Bellossom's mind and causes her brain to start acting a little funny.

    How do you proceed?

I'm going to ask DL about buying additional balls and then continue reffing once I have an answer. I'm down with continuing to ref for you two if it's allowed.
