    Default I challange Mikachu - Ref = Oslo

    I wish to challange Mikachu Yukitatsu to a 2 on 2 battle.

    Arena - Dagobah swamp (Empire strikes back/Return of the Jedi) - A swamp, with water, trees, fog. Anyone knocked in the water/swims/surfs/dives has a chance of attracting the swamp creature, who may take a bite inflicting 10 damage.

    Pokemon - 2 v 2, one at a time.

    Abilities - On

    Banned moves - Rest, Pain split, Perish song, ect.

    I will send first, my shiny Female Ferroseed with Iron barbs.

    Logic - Mikachu hasn't won any matches. I am notorious for loosing my matches. One of us should break a streak here.

    Excellent point! I just didn't notice this battle call until now, sorry.

    You asked for it! Go my male Chimchar Sarufire with Blaze ability!

    Start with Flamethrower, don't let the Iron Herbs get near you.
    Next use another Fire-type move, Fire Blast! Yes, I'm feeling mean!
    And boring, too, another Flamethrower finishes this turn.

    Ooh, lucky Oslo. Of all the sunshiney plains, pristine beaches and scenic mountain landscapes that serve as arenas for ASB matches, he gets to ref this battle today between Ayeun and Mikachu in a lovely swamp! Yes, with slime and guck and monsters galore! Golly, how does one person get to be so friggin’ fortunate?

    The two trainers stand on the soft, marshy ground near a burbling pond as they make their selections for the first half of the battle. Ayeun goes for a Steel-covered seedling while Mikachu, on the other hand, summons a flaming chimp into the fray. The battlers stare one another down before getting things going.

    Sarufire starts by taking advantage of his foe’s double weakness by torching him with a nice, crackling array of flames. Poor Ferroseed lets out a perilous cry, but there’s really nothing she can do at the moment. Once the Flamethrower ebbs away, Ferroseed decides to stack her defences by doing a spin on the spot. She creates three clones that surround her, increasing her probability of evasion. Have the tables turned so quickly?

    Ferroseed: <-22 HP; -4 EP; 3 clones>
    Sarufire: <-8 EP>

    Mikachu’s sprightly little ape goes for a second flaming attack, though this one takes a different form. His spits out an ideogram composed entirely of flames that whooshes across the field, causing the moist grass to sizzle. However, the Fire Blast passes harmlessly through one of Ferroseed’s clones. Shifting now to an offensive maneuver, Ferroseed begins rolling at a breakneck pace. She and her clones tumble toward Sarufure, but only the real Ferroseed connects with a light hit. Sarufure stumbles backward to the water’s edge, but he manages to keep his balance.

    Ferroseed: <-2 EP; 2 clones>
    Sarufire: <-5 HP; -1 HP from Iron Barbs; -10 EP>

    Ferroseed continues rolling about without interrupting her momentum. Sarufure watches the three incoming iron balls and shoots a Flamethrower at one of them randomly, but he only manages to get a clone. Drat! Ferroseed’s Rollout strikes, this time with heightened strength. This time around, Sarufire is thrown into the water and begins splashing about. Shrieking, the Chimchar looks over as a dark shape drifts close to him beneath the surface. He splashes and flails his way back to dry land before the beast manages to take a chomp out of him, however. With a start, he manages to get his tail flame blazing again in no time.

    Standard banned moves include those, any the opponent wishes to add and non damaging heals

    Havent been around much, so I couldn't take it :p

    As the next round begins, Ferroseed continues to build momentum as her Rollout reaches a blistering pace. Intent on trapping the chunk of metal, Sarefire breathes out a snaking trail of flames that coils across the field. It wraps itself around Ferroseed, scorching the Thorn Seed Pokemon thoroughly while obliterating the clone. However, just as Sarufire begins dusting off his hands with a smirk of satisfaction, Ferroseed bursts out of the wall of flames (while suffering a little extra damage in the process, of course) as she tears off toward Sarufire. She collides with the Chimchar, knocking him to the water’s edge, though he fortunately keeps himself from falling in.

    Upon closer inspection, it appears as though Ferroseed has acquired a rather nasty Burn.

    Ferroseed: <-10 HP; -4 HP from Fire Spin; -2 EP; 0 clones>
    Sarufire: <-14 HP; -1 HP from Iron Barbs; -2 EP>

    Sarufire appears delighted by his enemy’s pitiable state and keeps up the heat with yet another Flamethrower. However, though it scorches the hell out of Ferroseed, it does nothing to impair her momentum. The Rollout reaches new levels of speed and, thus, new levels of damage as it collides with Sarufire. The ape is tossed into the shallow water, though scampers out before anything wicked his way comes.

    Ferroseed: <-22 HP; -2 EP>
    Sarufire: <-18 HP; -1 HP from Iron Barbs; -8 EP>

    Sarufire breathes off another Flamethrower, but it once again is not enough to stop poor Ferroseed. The Rollout reaches his maximum speed as the little seedling strikes the spirited simian, knocking him way off into the water. As he begins to doggy-paddle toward shore, an indistinct shape beneath the surface swiftly swims toward Sarufire. Suddenly, he’s dragged beneath the surface and vanishes for several moments. At last, he reemerges closer to the shore and drags himself out of the water. He’s covered in scratches that weren’t there moments ago and seems a little on the dazed side.

    Ferroseed: <-22 HP; -2 EP>
    Sarufire: <-23 HP; -1 HP from Iron Barbs; -10 HP from the swamp creature; -8 EP>

    Ferroseed's Burn flares up <-3 HP>.

    Sarufire decides it’s time ot bring that juggernaut to a crashing halt. He puffs out his chest and begins strutting around in an arrogant manner. However, because Ferroseed’s Rollout reduces the world around her to a colourful blur, it actually becomes next to impossible for her to focus on Sarufire long enough for the Swagger to have any effect. Thus, she merely continues plowing force and collides with Sarufire. He’s thrown into the pond (for about the ten billionth time) but fortunately swims back to the edge before re-igniting his tail. What is a waterlogged simian to do?

    Suddenly, an aura surrounds Sarufire as Blaze activates. Ooh. Ahh. Purdy.

    Ferroseed: <-2 EP>
    Sarufire: <-23 HP; -1 HP from Iron Barbs; -4 EP>

    Mikachu’s Chimchar decides that arrogance isn’t enough to stop that thing. Instead, he keeps the Flamethrower going and scorches Ferroseed mercilessly. As much as the flames hurt, especially with Blaze, Ferroseed proves once again to be an unstoppable force: she hastens forward for more Rollouty godness, launching Sarufire into the water again. The swamp creature drags him beneath the surface and has his way with him before finally setting him free. Poor, poor Sarufire.

    Ferroseed: <-27 HP; -2 EP>
    Sarufire: <-23 HP; -1 HP from Iron Barbs; -10 HP from the swamp creature; -8 EP>

    Sarufire begins shrieking and stamping the ground furiously. A Fire vs. Grass/Steel battle is not supposed to go this way! Body hunched in anticipation and eyes focused, he watches as Ferroseed zooms closer and closer for a final Rollout. However, the move never comes: Sarufire breathes out a behemoth of a Fire Blast, roasting that seedie for good. Ferroseed slowly rolls into a clump of cattails and finally topples over. This girl is done like dinner. (Cooked like dinner, too, actually.)

    Sarufire: <-10 EP>

    Though poor Ferroseed put up a valiant fight against this hard-hitting Fire-type, it just wasn’t enough. Ayeun recalls her brave little fighter and contemplates her next and final selection carefully before releasing an adorable little Starly into play. It cheeps hopefully as it hops toward Sarufire. However, those hops quickly gain in speed until Starly is all but sprinting toward Sarufire! However, the Chimchar erects a solid black barrier before him and the wee birdie merely bounces off in shock. Bet you weren’t expecting that, eh, kiddo?

    Starly: <-2 EP>
    Sarufire: <-4 EP>

    Suddenly, Chimchar begins glowing tremendously bright. His entire body erupts with a massive Overheat which, when coupled with his active Blaze ability, deals an excruciating amount of damage to poor Starly. Now that she’s basically been reduced to ashes, Starly stumbles forward in a daze and swings her wing errantly. It collides with Sarufire, knocking him out of the match after a good fight.

    Sarufire: <-4 HP; -12 EP; -2 SpA>

    With his Chimchar no loner in battling condition, Mikachu has no choice but to send in a replacement. Going for the type advantage, he summons a chipper bleating sheep into battle. Starly quickly goes on the defensive by kicking up a horrible wind storm filled with plenty of sand. The tiny granules engulf Puskuri and get stuck in her eyes, compromising her Accuracy. Though she tries to roast Starly with a Thunder Wave, she isn’t able to land a hit and instead scorches a muddy stump. Starly breathes a sigh of relief.

    Starly: <-2 EP>
    Puskuri: <-4 EP; -1 Acc>

    Starly now closes her eyes and begins singing a beautiful melody. The power of the sound waves beat against Starly's foe and caus Puskuri to stumble backward to the water’s edge, but the Mareep retains composure. She retaliates with a sudden Thunderbolt, frying up Starly mercilessly. Mmm, what's that smell? Someone cooking chicken?

    Starly: <-17 HP; -4 EP>
    Puskuri: <-8 HP; -8 EP>

    Starly continues singing her Round, though it’s certainly not very much fun without any accompaniment. Still, the physical strength of her vocals pushes Puskuri from the safety of the water’s edge and into the pool of water. She bleats in fear and starts swimming to the edge, but the swamp monster won’t have any of that. It drags Puskuri beneath the surface and begins ravaging her to the point that, when she comes up for air and plods back onto dry land, she’s all dazed and cut up. Still, she manages to fry Starly alive with a powerful Thunder attack. Poor Starly doesn’t look like she has much more gas in the tank.

    Your right.. Round isn't as fun alone... I was hoping for swamp creatures to join in

    Starly, take to the air, and use Aerial ace and wing attack and aerial ace.

    As the next round begins, Starly swoops in close and rakes her claws along Puskuri’s fleecy back, though the Mareep doesn’t seem particularly bothered by this Flying-type move. Instead of retaliating with an immediate strike, she simply begins Charging up her power. Her wool begins to shine with a golden glow as she prepares to decimate her opponent.

    Starly: <-4 EP>
    Puskuri: <-4 HP; Chg>

    Suddenly, Puskuri unleashes a mighty Thunderbolt which, thanks to the Charge, is increased in both strength and speed. Starly does a quick aerial spin to avoid the move, but the electricity manages to singe the ends of her feathers. Nonetheless, she avoids most of the move’s destructive potential and dive-tackles Puskuri right in the face.

    Starly: <-4 HP; -2 EP>
    Puskuri: <-6 HP; -6 EP>

    Once again, Puskuri releases a powerful electrical move which Starly only partially manages to dodge thanks to the Thunder’s increased speed. She dives in close for another Quick Attack, but as she rams into Puskuri a secondary effect takes place: Static sizzles up and down her wings as Paralysis begins to set in. Starly cheeps in dismay.

    Puskuri: <-6 HP; -8 EP>

    With one more action’s worth of Charge left in the chamber, Puskuri knows she really needs to make it count. Starly collides with a recklessly strong Double-Edge, momentarily dazing Puskuri and knocking her back to the water’s edge. Sizzling with static, the Mareep tries to retaliate with a quick Electric discharge. However, the forks of electricity spray errantly and instead land in the pond. The swamp creature pokes his head out and shakes a fist at Starly and Puskuri. You kids simmer down, now!

    Starly: <-4 HP from recoil; -10 EP>
    Puskuri: <-14 HP; -8 EP>

    Starly tries to go in for a second Double-Edge, but Paralysis locks up her entire body. Thus, as lands on the moist, squishy earth, she’s a sitting duck (or starling) as Puskuri attacks with another Thunderbolt. It hits with perfection, sizzling the Flying-type Pokemon greatly.

    Starly: <-17 HP; Can’t move!>
    Puskuri: <-8 EP>

    As the Paralysis dissipates, Starly connects with a second mighty tackling attack that leaves a little recoil. The sheer strength of the attack throws Puskuri into the water and she bleats in fear as she tries to paddle her way back to dry land. However, angered by that previous Thunderbolt, the swamp creature tugs Puskuri beneath the surface and has his way with her. When she at last pulls herself out of the water, she’s both drenched and a little beaten up. Growling, she puts everything she has into the final Thunderbolt. The electric current roasts poor Starly alive and she slumps over, defeated.

    And with that, this battle has been decided.

    Starly: <-8 HP; -4 HP from recoil; -10 EP>
    Puskuri: <-14 HP; -10 HP from swamp creature; -8 EP>
