OK, this is going to be the fourth battle ever between me and MeLoVeGhOsTs!

I'm going to start with my male Venipede, Manashi, who has the Swarm ability.

Harvey, Aerial Ace! Then Bulldoze, finish with trapping it in a Sand Tomb!

Manashi, Protect yourself from that Flying attack!
Don't let him trap you, use Double Team.
Lastly for this round, start a Rollout!

Well, since this Tournament is ready to ride, I'm gonna kick it off! Welcome to Greyfox's first STAB-Less tournament. The rules have been made clear, and we are ready to begin round 1 of what is going to shape up to be an exciting tournament.

I'm hosting the water field match today! Complete contrast to the fire match over there, but I'm pretty good at multitasking. *thumb up* Now, on this side of the pond, we have MLG vs Mika--OMFG You two again! Why are you two always fighting! JEEEEZUS. I dun think I even fought Mika once, and yer on number 4? Hot crossed buns yer a beast.

Ok with that being said , Harvey and Manashi look ready to get things started. Funny, they're both bugs. Harvey however, starts off with a pinpoint accurate slash from his platform over to Manashi's! But no, its deflected by a powerful barrier. Rejected!

Harvey tried to keep up the fast pace, and scuttled sideways. That antfarm tower on its head is damned impressive. Anyway, he tries to cause the ground under the watery area to shift and disrupt Manashi's style. It works, because the clones that were made by Manashi all shook themselves into nonexistence.

HD: -9E ~~ Man: -3E/-12H -Spd

Manashi regained his legs and went for an attack all his own. It wasn't too hard either. Being on water made sand a little rough to come by, and so Harvey tried to use the sand atop his own budy for this Tombing effect, But Manashi already revved up and rolled out. Harvey looked around,and then noted a small dot growing in size. He managed to look up, only to get a faceful of Manash scales.

Alright, let's try again.

Aerial Ace to jump out of the way when it comes to roll you over again, then hit it hard! Follow that up with Swordsdance and Earthquake!

Manashi revves up after recoiling from that last successful strike. Its second pass is met with a large disappointment as the ground covered crab somehow manages to evade the rolling bug. Manashi skids to a stop, only to be swatted by an open pincer! The hell, man?

HD: -4E ~~ Man: -4E/-8H

DAMN! With that miss, Manashi now had to start all over! Rolling back up, he thundered for the Crustle, and collided with the square dancing squarestacean. Both Pokemon seemed to recoil from the attack, but Harvey was more than ready for whatever could come his way.

HD: -3E/-4H +2Atk~~ Man: -4E

Attack ready, Harvey raised both hands in the air, and plunged them into the water infused ground. I don't see what that will cause...other than washing your claws off there buddy. Manashi tries for a third pass, and gets that coveted second hit, that gives a new meaning to the pain tire tread.

Oh. Wait..Duuuude! Harvey ripped his claws out of the ground and caused it to shake so bad that it throws them BOTH off! That was a highly localized quake man. Now both Pokemon are reeling. Sweet!

The rolling Manashi gets his cue. Once more-and then he can stop spinning. He fearlessly treads toward Harvey, who stands his ground carrying ground, and swings out in retaliation. Getting hit by Rollouts now must kinda hurt, its like a 30mph renegade tire to the FACE!

HD: -4E/-12H ~~ Man: -4E/-12H

Well, since Rollout didn't miss-Harvey would have to deal with another pass! Or would he? Manashi unfurled and shook his head. Seems it was done with the spinning world! Harvey breathed a sigh of relief, and scuttled over to the renegade tire wanna be. A hefty slash raked across Manashi's back, and the bug squeaked, but stayed put.

HD: -7E ~~ Man: -5E/-12H

Harvey goes for the heavy damage now, forcing the ground to shake and shiver under Manashi's feet. It didn't matter to the Venipede, as he raised himself up to the sky's whims and called upon light itself to strike from the heavens. The blast came down with a thunderous force, and Harvey was pushed into the soggy earth.

Should have checked how Rollout really works in the games, or in ASB, Ayeun did use it against my Chimchar.

Well let's see if we can take advantage of the lowered speed, Gyro Ball!
Double Team to distract him.

Earthquake again! Then Aerial Ace. Finish with Nigh Slash.

Manashi and Harvey seemed to be at their wits end. Harvey tried to capitalize on the sluggishness that he imparted on Manashi. A massive Earthquake ripped through the arena, leaving Manashi with a little less than a bare will to live. But he did and he pushed out a Gyro Ball to try and offset the damage. Harvey felt the shock in his body and tried to remove the chill that resulted

Harvey however, didn't let the chill distract him from striking the bug with a swift slice that cut to the very soul. Manashi fell over, defeated.
