Charging forth, Jay and Moltres head for the Heatran. A Lava Plume surges up, but Tsu swoops down and forces the water on the coast to splash over it, cooling it immensely. Heatran growls in contempt, but is then flattened over and over by Jay's fists. Earthquake forced punches force Heatran to the ground, and excess surfage almost knock Heatran out. The beast cried for help, and the man standing a ways away claps.

The Heatran manages to run back to the side of the trainer, and he walks forward. Tsu and Jay stay in front, as Moltres heads toward the volcano.

"You. Call off this attack. I'm only here for the bird."

You stay hidden, but the two girls start to talk about the latest in designer fashion, and about some chick named Elisa. It gets pretty droll, but you then spot Schwarzen flying above. The dragon attracts the attention of the two girls, and they are quick to release a Flygon and a Salamence!

Jus then, a massive crack rips across the sky, and swallows the top of the arean. You watch as a darkness swells and opens-releasing a primodial roar that forces the girls to pay attention to the portal opening.

"He's back! Cyrus really did it! I wonder how!"

Time to sprig into action. Yo immediatly pick up a rock and fling it toward the two females. Now seriously, I don't know who you think you are, but that rock hit one in the back of the head! Now she's out unconscious and drops her doohickey that looks kinda important. The Salamence turns and roars at you, alerting the other girl to your presence.

"Why would you do that?!" She yells as pink lightning comes raining down from the distortion above. All at once, Schwarzen swoops in and grabs you, and makes a beeline for the cave entrance. The Flygon gives chase, but an Aura Sphere scares it off for the moment. You hear a thunderous roar as Schwarzen banks hard right and stays against the wall. As the storm continues outside, you spy lights of all colors -and then...it goes silent.

Danae and Syracuse are barely visible at the edge of the light entering the cave...and the distinct head of the Flygon slowly creeps in...looking for you.

What do you do?

Jay and Tsu both seem too eager to put this fool down. Jay goes low while Tsu goes high. Noting the dual incoming attack, Heatran does the only thing it can: Protect itself. Both massive hits bang against and ultimately fall prey to the barrier.

As the barrier removes itself, Tsu suddenly speeds in and begins a combo that Jay tag in and finishes, leaving Heatran nothing more than a hunk of molten metal against the erupting landscape.

You, nor your squad waste time, As the Flygon's body creeps into the cave, you stay low as Danae gets into position. All of a sudden, Syra runs in from the right and hockey pucks Danae with her horn! The steel type crashes into Flygon, fists out front. The beast yells but it s met with a hefty bite from Schwarzen.. The chilling blows force Flygon out the cave,and you peer out. Schwarzen flies out, in hunting mode. You however, see bigger fish to fry.

On top of the area where you arrived, a lone male figure stands there, His hair completely white, and his arms raised In front of him admisrta tall figure, that seems to bend to his every whim.

Palkia.

The ball closes shut, and wobbles once.

and then stays still. You actually did-Pop!

Your Ultraball springs back open, and the Heatran reappears, still on the ground. Damn! So close! You hiss and turn to see where that guy went now...and the you realize something.

Syra flying right behind you, you gain traction and dash for the older man. The older gentleman hears your approach and braces himself as you collide into him with all the force you can. The two of you skid backwards, but Cyrus manages to hold his ground against you.

"Bah! I've been back for only seconds, and already there is resistance? No matter!"

Suddenly, your feet leave you and you see the world spin above your head, before a heavy weight slams into you at a high rate of speed. It takes the wind out of you, but you manage to keep your eyes open. Cyrus stands over you, hardened features mirroring your expression of pain.

"Soon, little one. Soon you will know the power that stems from the Spear Pillar, from up here on lofty Mt. Coronet. Lay there and watch."

Cyrus turns to face Syracuse, whom is held in place by Palkia. The beast then looks to the sky, and bellows. Lightning crackled and thunder roared..and the portal to the Distortion world began to grow...

Time to give chase. With Heatran no longer a threat, you jump on Tsu and the pair of your fly off to tail Moltres. It takes only a few minutes, but Tsu finally breaks through the clouds, and manages to fly above the massive volatile chamber.

In the air, Moltres is locked in combat with the strange man, who is standing on an Aerodactyl, which is using Protect and edging closer toward the fiery legend.

3) Tackle the strange man and dive into the lava?

Your Pokemon rally and fly in from each side, firing a blast a twin blast of energy that throw Palkia off balance. The beast roars in anguish and turns it attention toward the attackers. This frees Syra, who flies toward Cyrus. Cyrus releases another Pokemon on the field and the red beast grabs onto Syracuse.

While the flames flare up on this beast, it leaves you wonder where did he obtain a Darmanitan? No matter, as Palkia was kept busy with its sluggish strikes toward Danae and Schwarzen. The Lucario and Hydreigon kept circling the beast, and Palkia kept its focus on them

You turn toward Cyrus, feeling confident as long as Syracuse didn't fall to that Darmanitan.

"Why do you dare stop progress?" The aging man asks, as he readies another pair of Pokeballs...leaving you outnumbered.

What do you do?

1) Answer?
2) Smash that Darmanitan?
3) Where are those two girls?

You don't recall Aquilla. Instead, you shout out a command. Sirius takes aim, and releases a massive controlled beam of energy that scorches through the canopy, and wipes anything in its path off the map!

When the Hyper Beam cleared away, Aquila heads toward you. You gleefully wave from your cart as the Braviary circles the roof.

As Aquilla lands atop and you keep driving, you fail to notice the eyes of many a creature watching you from the canopy.

You give you command. Jacen manages a teleport with Betty atop of Tsu and you jump off. This allows Tsu to well up a Thunderbolt, with Betty and Jacen doing the same. Your freefall lands you atop the faux MoltresDitto-and you barely grab on when you hear a primordial roar.

Looking up, Moltres is streaking toward the volcano, and the Aerodactyl is plummeting down. The strange trainer is falling with him-apparently unafraid of the rough landing ahead.

Your witty comeback would have yielded a response, but it was dominated by the Roar that came from Schwarzen and Danae. However, instead of fleeing, Palkia CHARGED? Danae was not ready and found herself in the space Pokemon's left hand. With a powerful slash, Palkia ripped a hole through what seemed to just be air..and punched Danae through it! Danae crumpled to a heap by your feet, feeling something was wrong about that attack....

Schwarzen stared from above, as Palkia slowly turned toward it. Meanwhile, Darman and Syracuse were squaring off on equal footing. The rocky area made it easy for Syra to ram a fist into a wall and cause a slide, but Darman used the rocks to thrust itself at Syracuse. The pair were buried under the rockslide, but the echoes of battle could still be heard. Syra burst out first, even as flames gouged at its exoskeleton. Syracuse landed on the pile of rubble that had gone under some small sifting, and began a large Earthquake. The rippling shifted the pile, and Dar burst free-hammering into Syracuse with a Firey fist!

Cyrus watches Palkia intently, before looking at you.

"You will bear witness now, to its might. Palkia! Spacial Rend the entire mountain!"

That can't be good.

You figure you only have minutes before this overwhelms you.

Palkia roars and raises both arms as it begins its command. Energy wells up from its claws and Danae instantly recognizes the move. She cartwheels over and jumps toward Palkia, aiming to hit his elbows with a forceful Dragon Pulse. The two attacks strike each other, and yet, tearing Space seems to hurt alot more than expected. Danae falls backwards as Palkia slashes once more, ripping space even larger with that strike on Danae. Pinned down, Danae just fires off blast after blast to try and free herself from Palkia's rage

Cyrus-in all his wisdom, was not ready to be scooped up and away by Schwarzen! The dragon quickly flew east, but there was no argument from him. Especially since a Crobat and a Gliscor now flew around Schwarzen, forcing him to stop.

You look to Syracuse,whom is asleep-and Darmanitan, who is chomping on the Substitute. Next to the Darmanitan are the two girls from earlier. One is fiddling with a device, and the other seems to be inspecting something on Darm. Suddenly, Darmanitan stops chomping on the sub, and shatters it with a punch!

Sat: Look boy. We've mastered the art of emotionrobbing. Palkia will rip this world apart, and free you from care and piety. You want that, right. To be happy not to worry about anything or anyone anymore...

Spying the use of electronics, you enact a plan to try and make away with that. Cyrus is unceremoniously dropped, and Palkia tears a hole above its head, allowing Cyrus to fall right into his waiting arms. It then digs down on the foot that has Danae pinned, and rolls said foot backwards, Danae spins in the air before being punted right past you, into the mountainside. Ouch.

You start to back up as Cyrus is set down and Palkia approaches. Schwarzen swoops in, but that Gligar and Crobat fly in and start hindering its approach. It looks rough until a loud bang erupts from....Syracuse?

The Snore emitted startled everyone, and Saturn Drops the remote. It falls from the pillar and you deftly run for it, barely catching it on your fingertips. But now you are in Palkia's range, and the beast pins you down with one foot.

"Now, with you unable to mo-GAH!"

You barely have time to witness Danae's speedy recovery, let alone the Extremespeed being used to accelerate and enhance the knee to Palkia's face. its enough to throw the beat off balance, and you roll away before the foot smashes on the ground where you used to lie.

It's a remote of some sort-like one you used to play for remote control cars....

Its still standing, thanks to your earlier efforts, but it might not last with how the volcano seems to be acting. Dittotres lands on the very tip top of it, and you look around you. Under the blue button , an arrow points down, and under the green button is an up arrow. It still seems to make no sense, until you click the third lever down. Palkia stops moving...to Cyrus's anguish.

"What? Palkia, Palkia! Continue the tearing of this world!...Why have you stopped movi--YOU, Remove that remote from that child NOW!"

The two girls make a dash for you, and just then, Syracuse wakes up!

You decide its too dry for this area. You hop out the cart and leave it in park. Aquilla lands long enough for you and Sirius to hop on, and the three of you take off.

Its a nice flight, over varied lands and many a realm, some you possibly haven't even seen yet. You glide over and finally land at the beginning of the Swamp. It smells wonderfully like peat moss and bog burps. You shrug it off and head in.

To your right, you see three Gulpin...gulping down mud. Yay. You also note something wriggling around in the mud, but you can't make it out.

What do you do?
1) Poke the mud?
2) Check out the Gulpin
3) Head in more...

You point for the ocean and Ditto flies toward it. Tsu is right next to you, with Betty and Jacen in tow. The 5 of you reach the glowing spot in the ocean, to the boat's dismay. You can't hear the cries of the fellow, but you and Tsu circle ominously overhead...

and then you feel the rush of air claw against your back. Before anyone has a handle on the situation, you are slapped all over by stinging cold. Splashes and dunks are heard all around you, as well as a sizzling like somethng large and fiery is hitting the water above you.

You look in some direction, and note a bright mass of color to your left-but its rolling on the currents. Weird. You cant tell if its an orb or something else...


What do you do?

Both girls manage to stay in tandem and reach for the remote just as you throw it above your head. Schwarzen bites on both of their shoulders to spin them away from you, and Syracuse catches the remote in its horn, before ramming it into the cliffside. With its destruction, a crackling could be heard over by that Darmanitan as well as Palkia. The beast blinked twice, and then looked around at everyone.

Yeah...no that's not good. Cyrus-dumbfounded his plan was foiled, immediately did what any psychomegalomaniac would do: take control! "Palkia! I command you to freely rip this world asunder!"

Palkia looked at Cyrus..and then you you and your Pokemon huddled around you....and then roars, creating a new tear! CRAP! ITS LISTENING TO HIM!

Syracuse, your target is Palkia! Poison him with Toxic, then use two Venoshocks!
