You realize what "may affect anyone adjacent to the user" means, right? It means Hopkirk could have aimed the Silver Wind at Osloki or he could have aimed it at Slash, but aiming it at one does not necessitate the other being hit.
Compare with something like Surf, which is designated as an "affects all Pokemon adjacent to the user" move.
And anyway, this is ASB, so these designations aren't necessarily set in stone for us.

‡ Round 25 ‡
Battle time resumes as Slash puffs out his chest and strolls around like he owns the joint. The nerve! Hopkirk is thrust into a bewildered rage and tries to copy with it by... busting out an angry dance! As it turns out, angry dance does nothing to alleviate the effects of Swagger, but it at least results in a nice Attack boost. Take into account the boost earned by Swagger and Hopkirk is set up rather nicely.
Hopkirk: <-4 EP; Cfn; +4 Att>
Slash: <-4 EP>
All of a sudden, that super-duper Attack stat comes back to bite Hopkirk in the ass. (Does he have an ass? His, um, lower thorax then?) As Slash releases a shower of Toxic yuck at Hopkirk, the Shedinja starts bashing his face against the sand violently while chirping. Usually when I see people at the beach doing that I try not to talk to them.
Hopkirk: <-7 HP Cfn; Txc>
Slash: <-4 EP>
Slash flies over toward Hopkirk before bashing one of his thing wings against the Shedinja's face. I'm not sure how that did so much damage considering those dainty little Scyther wings look like they're made of woven Ziploc bags, but hey, it did what it did. Hopkirk responds by blasting Slash with a sudden gust of Silver Wind. Given Slash's resistance to Bug, it doesn't do a whole lot. Hopkirk is probably wishing that he had a Ziploc Bag Attack of his own to use.
Hopkirk: <-11 HP; -4 EP>
Slash: <-4 HP; -4 EP>
Poor Hopkirk gets the first taste of Toxic <-3 HP>. Only a gajillion more of those to Endure before you gain Hanzo-level awesomeness.

‡ Round 26 ‡
The next round begins as Hopkirk's Confusion ends. Freedom... except, well, not really. Seeing that his foe's status has been alleviated, Slash once again puffs out his chest and Swaggers until the Miltanks come home. Hopkirk grimaces and begins smacking himself in the face. Easy, tiger.
Hopkirk: <Cfn no more; Cfn; +2 Att; -9 HP Cfn>
Slash: <-4 EP>
Slash goes in close and prepares to hit Hopkirk hard with a Wing Attack, but stops short when he sees the little Shedinja attempting to conjure up a magical baton. However, can't exactly figure out how to perform that move. UNTIL, OH WAIT, HE REMEMBERS AND SUDDENLY USES IT. ;D
Back to the Pokeball Hopkirk goes, but not before Hopkirk lands a weak hit. Then, out Rorschach comes.
Hopkirk: <-6 HP; -4 EP; Cfn no more; -6 Att; Recalled>
Slash: <-2 EP>
Rorschach: <Cfn; +6 Att>
Slash, who's now facing an entirely different enemy, zooms in for another Night Slash. The attack rips into Rorschach but doesn't do as much damage is it perhaps could have. The newbie then bashes face against the ground until his Confusion goes away. Whoo!
Suddenly, Osloki comes to life. Slash teeters over and succumbs to Sleep while his Defence takes a hit. Eep.

Dan, that was mean-but a very very astute setup.
Oslo, he actually got you.
"Prior to Generation V, if Nincada learns a move upon evolving into Ninjask, Shedinja will also know this move. This means that Shedinja can learn any of Ninjask's level up moves starting at level 20, but only the ones learned at the same level. In Generation V, Shedinja starts with the moves Nincada knew prior to evolution. "
I know this becasue I have a Sheddy with Baton pass. Shit saves lives.

lol so saving this post in a document it looks hilarious
Wait, Confusion is transferable with Baton Pass?
Or did I read something wrong?
Yup, Confusion is indeed transferable with Baton Pass.
Pursuit doesn't have priority over Baton Pass though. Not in Gen V anyway...

Cool beans.
So, to recap: Slash is about to use Wing Attack but stops when he sees Hopkirk preparing to switch out with Baton Pass, he lands the Pursuit (because he's faster) but Pursuit's power is not doubled since it does not activate on Baton Pass, Hopkirk then switches out immediately after. This is how the round is going. No more editing.![]()
lol
This is gonna hurt if ash doesn't do something xD
I return slash and send out kirlia who uses destiny bond  if that won't work then grudge aaand if neither will work then at least memento

‡ Round 27 ‡
After a moderately confusing round, Ash recalls his slumbering Scyther and sends out his severely weakened Kirlia. Still the new kid in town, Rorschach decides to show everyone what he's made of. The Zweilous uses his newfound strength to smash Osloki hard in the face. Those island worshipers who built Osloki built him well. Dude is solid.
Rorschach: <-2 EP>
Slash: <+3 Def; Recalled>
Psyshock: <Hyaah!>
Osloki: <+15 HP>
Rorschach recklessly charges toward his opponent in order to bring him down swiftly and effectively. Thanks to that pesky thing known as Hustle, though, the move goes wide and Rorschach ends up charging through the sand like a runaway train. Meanwhile, Psyshock uses what little strength he has left to bind his and Rorschach's fates together. Like two bunnies in a bathtub, they're bonded.
Rorschach: <-13 EP; Bonded>
Psyshock: <-5 HP fatigue>
It ends here. Rorschach swivels abruptly, chomps down hard on Psyshock and presses hot fire into the Kirlia's skin. As Psyshock drops, Rorschach feels all his strength escape him. He, too, crumples.
Rorschach: <-87 HP; -5 EP>

If Darkly can use one round of battling to evolve one of his pogeys, then you can do the same.
-Grey
sleep talk until you wake slash use moves that wont affect kirk to hit osloki and when you wake spam aerial ace if tormented/grudged sub wing attack and as always protect= swords dance, status=safeguard
And, like that, each trainer is down to their last pokemon! Who will win? Ash or Razor? Find out next time... which is when the next pokemon drops.

‡ Round 28 ‡
After one heck of an upset, both challengers are forced to summon their final Pokemon. Both Hopkirk and Slash have already seen battle and are a little bit weary because of it, but they seem ready to keep on battling. And so they will! Hopkirk begins by babbling in his sleep before darting toward Slash as his wings grow hard and take on a silvery glow. However, he only barrels on right through the Ghost-type (argh, it's the Metronome Melee all over again!) without doing any damage. Hopkirk, meanwhile, spews a glob of Toxic goo all over his slumbering foe. Devious.
Hopkirk: <-4 EP>
Slash: <-5 EP; Txc>
Slash once again begins babbling in his sleep and suddenly envelops himself in a green, Protective bubble. Hopkirk tries to forge a mental link that will allow him to guzzle down dreams by the mouthful, but all he comes up with is static.
Hopkirk: <-8 EP>
Slash: <-8 EP>
Shenanigans continue as Slash keeps up his little Sleep Talk-a-thon. This time, the Scyther arbitrarily sets his sights on Osloki and tears into the wooden tiki with a sudden False Swipe that deals minor damage. Hopkirk, meanwhile, gives the whole Dream Eating thing another go... and he succeeds! He restores health by guzzling down Slash's dreams, leaving only nightmares left.
Hopkirk: <+5 HP; -8 EP>
Slash: <-10 HP; -2 EP>
Osloki: <+4 HP>
Hopkirk gets his second taste of Toxic poisoning <-5 HP> while Slash gets his first <-3 HP>. The Scyther lets out a moan; it's clear he's going to wake soon.

Just as things start to look a little dicey for poor Slash, the Scyther wakes up at long last. He raises his scythes to the sky triumphantly before zipping toward Hopkirk and Night Slashing the Shedinja without any hint of mercy. This Bug means business. Hopkirk lets out a weary click before retaliating with a series of random physical blows that receive a performance boost from the Toxin flowing through his veins. That shit's like Gatorade.
Hopkirk: <-11 HP; -5 EP>
Slash: <-14 HP; -5 EP; Slp no more>
Night Slash numéro deux comes tearing toward Hopkirk, this time with added strength. Anyone hungry for cicadas julienne? (Yeah, me neither.) Hopkirk retaliates with a random slash of his own, but it's not quite as effective.
Hopkirk: <-15 HP crit; -4 EP>
Slash: <-9 HP; -5 EP>
Once more, the two Buggies exchange physical blows, trading off yet another Night Slash for a second Facade. Both Pokemon are thrown backwards and, at this juncture, it appears as though Slash is commanding a modest lead.
Hopkirk: <-11 HP; -5 EP>
Slash: <-14 HP; -5 EP>
Hopkirk winces as his Toxin reaches new heights <-7 HP> while Slash receives a dose of pain that's not quite as severe <-5 HP>.

combo a aerial ace with an agility first turn then aerial ace all the way if it endures/protects use morning sun and bump
Hrr.. two combos I could try, but which one will work...gonna hafta go with my original plan.
Since Slash is using a speed move, he can't possibly know your going to Endure until he's on top of you. So use that, but make it an Endure and Sucker Punch combo. If that doesn't knock Scyther out then we'll be screwed over by Osloki anyway. If, by any chance you can use your third slot, then use Shadow Sneak
hmm well this brings us to the issue of whether or not our pokemon can hear the opponent trainer
I'm feeling a bit jittery not sure if its from suspense or sugar
Not really. It helps to read other battles.
Will have this up tomorrow!
(Also, I just want to mention that this situation is much trickier than the Mew/Cynder battle because Endure is a priority attack, which changes everything. Why is it always me who gets lumped with the Mock Reffing on Crack scenarios?)
