    You check out the kraken bracken to see what's lurking. You part the plants and see a tiny Jigglypuff looking up at you with wide eyes. D'aww! However, your adoration quickly dissipates when little Jigglypuff pulls out a stick that she decides to use as a makeshift microphone. Uh-oh.

    As she Sings the first notes of her little tune, your eyelids immediately grow heavy.

    You do an about-face and start running away from Jigglybuff as you head back to the beach. However, in your half-asleep stupor, you veer a little to the left and end up tumbling into a rather large crater. Derp. As you clear your head, you realize you've stumbled upon a nest of eggs.



    Looking up to the edge of the crater, you see a Pokemon peering down at you.



    Mama Audino looks positively livid. Her body begins to sizzle with electric current.

    Inverted Duckbot nods and Teleports you away from the crater... and from Triangle Island altogether. Glancing around, you find yourself immersed in a dense forest of bamboo. You're barely able to move, but at least there are no asshole-ish Jigglypuffs or Audinos around. Huzzah for that.

    You look upwards and see... more Emolgas!

    You pick a random direction and start walking. Your trek is rather uneventful for about a quarter of an hour until you stumble upon a clearing in the middle of the grove. You see two Pokemon staring one another down aggressively. An audience of Pokemon have gathered to watch what you think might turn into a brawl.




    "Oskar totally has this on lock," Electabuzz says to Venipede. "There's no way he's going to lose to a little Durant!"

    "I dunno," Venipede replies. "Pierre is pretty fiesty. He might give Nikolas a run for his money."

    You also see a Mankey sitting behind a rock which he appears to be using as a makeshift desk. It looks as though he's taking bets on the outcome of the battle.

    Everyone suddenly ignores Heatmor and Durant as they run to Mankey to place bets on your fight with Illumise. Mankey offers 20:1 odds on you.

    No way are you gonna steal my Pokemon and run away! Brenton, grab as many of the white stones as you can and use Protect to leap to the ground, limiting damage from the impact and stopping him retrieving the stones with Psychic again. Ernesta and Elmira, use Spider Web and 2 String Shots apiece to immobilise Reshiram, and Rhode use your little Earthquake technique to ground Zekrom, combining it with Smack Down and Rock Wrecker if you don't think it'll fall to the ground with Earthquake's force alone.

    Inverted Duckbot hovers forward and prepares to do battle with Illumise. Both Pokemon nod and immediately start popping and snapping as they generate some heavy voltage. They release identical Thunder Waves at one another and, in a blinding glare of light, soon suffer immediate Paralyzed. Duckbot's and Illumise's bodies go stiff and rigid and the crow's anticipation mounts as the battlers stare at one another with vacant, glassy eyes. When Paralysis finally eases up, Duckbot zips toward Illumise and tackles her; however, the wily firefly Counters the attack by grabbing onto your Porygon-Z's horn and tossing him into a nearby stalk of bamboo.

    The Pokemon who bet on Duckbot to win immediately rush over to Mankey and start begging for their money back.

    How do you proceed?

    CYNDER'S SAFARI ADVENTCHA!

    Skyline Terrace
    A strange town, all within the treetops. Long since abandoned by humans, the MASSIVE amount of Pokemon that live here all seem a bit strange and off kilter. The completely aerial town is connected by boardwalks, and the homes all resemble traditional Japanese style. One would think the townspeople were turned into Pokemon here!

    ‡ Round 161 ‡

    Still trapped by Salvador's net, you shout more commands at your Pokemon and you're surprised they even manage to hear you given the fact that they're almost all the way to the city's border. Brenton makes a daring play for the Light Stones: it leaps off of Z's back and grabs two of the magical artifacts mid-jump. He then envelops himself in a translucent energy bubble that allows him to collide against the ground just outside Skyline Terrace without suffering any damage. Squinting, you can just barely see the evil and malice wipe clear from Reshiram's face as the Legendary Pokemon is once again wrested from Z's control.

    Ernesta and Elmira immobilize Reshiram with a series of String Shots and Spider Webs. They Ariados sisters immobilize the Dragon's left wing, forcing it into a rough landing that it only just barely manages to execute. Reshiram touches down outside the city just a few feet from Brenton's Protective bubble as Rhode uses a series of powerful attacks to force Zekrom to the ground as well.

    "I will not permit you to do this to me!" Z bellows.

    The Porygon-Z targets Brenton with a Lock-On and a Zap Cannon, but the Electric-type move merely bursts against the Protect without effect. You then watch as Reshiram, its body still immobilized by Ernesta's and Elmira's attacks, opens its mouth and strikes its former master with a sudden and violent Blue Flare. It looks like you might have this battle in the bag.

    Suddenly, Commissioner Noctowl and his Hoothoot squadron touch down on a boardwalk not far from you. Commissioner Noctowl appears to be speaking into a walkie-talkie.




    "Mayor Ambipom, the threats have been led out of the city," Commissioner Noctowl says into the electronic device. "I repeat, all three of the intruders are no longer within Skyline Terrace's perimeter."

    "Excellent!" says the voice on the other end. "I'm giving the order, then. Raise the Citywide Security Field! Keep the intruders out of the city!"

    Commissioner Noctowl nods, pulls out a remote and presses a yellow button. The ground beneath you begins to quiver and you hear a distinct humming noise as though some distant generator has woken. Suddenly, the air begins to blaze with near-blinding light. You watch as an opaque barrier of golden energy rises into the sky and encloses Skyline Terrace within some colossal chrysalis. The security field forms a perfect sphere around the city.

    "The Citywide Security Field has been raised, sir," Commissioner Noctowl says into his walkie-talkie. "We're safe now."

    You can no longer see Brenton, Rhode or any of the others.

    How do you proceed?

    > Call out to Commissioner Noctowl
    > Try to break out of the net

    Inverted Duckbot once again is rendered immobile, leaving Illumise free to use that most fearsome of all Fighting-type moves. She closes her eyes and begins to hone her Focus before lashing out with a powerful Punch that throws Inverted Duckbot clear out of the clearing and into the forest. Just as you begin to wonder if you should head out and try to find him, Inverted Duckbot emerges from the forest and begins lashing out at Illumise with a series of random physical blows. It's suddenly the beautiful Bug-type's turn to play the Paralysis game as her body goes rigid, leaving her vulnerable to a sudden storm of ice and snow that bears down upon her.

    You then throw the Great Ball. Illumise is contained within the small blue object.

    Wiggle.

    Wiggle.


    The crowd gasps as the Great Ball bursts open and Illumise returns to the field. Illumise winks and opens her arms to the sky. Though it's no longer night, she senses Moonlight from somewhere and begins to use it to restore health. She begins to laugh at Duckbot's surprised chirp.

    Grah! Now she's just screwing with you.

    How do you proceed?

    Illumise and Inverted Duckbot once again crackle with electricity as they fire off Thunders at one another. You shield your eyes against the harsh glare and, when the light finally dims, you see that both Pokemon have gone stock-still thanks to Paralysis. They're both panting heavily.

    You then give the Great Ball another toss. Illumise is once again sucked inside as the ball hits the ground.

    Wiggle.

    Wiggle.

    Wiggle.

    Click!


    With that, you and your teammates are finally returned to the front desk where the attendant hands you the balls containing Scraggy, Darkrai and Illumise. She hopes you had a pleasant jaunt and wishes you a lovely evening.

    Gah let me out! I need my pokemon and I had this battle in the bag! I can catch Reshiram! D: If Z gets away now he'll come back stronger and recovered, probably able to break the barrier or destroy the rest of the zone. I can stop him and save my poor Pokemon!

    "I apologize, human, but even if I wanted to do that—which I don't—it's simply not possible," Commissioner Noctowl explains. "Once the field has been raised, it cannot be decommissioned for twelve hours."

    You imagine all the destruction that Z could accomplish in twelve hours. It's almost certain that Brenton and Rhode won't last that long without you behind them calling strategy. However, Commissioner Noctowl isn't entirely useless: he combines and Air Slash and an Air Cutter to free you and Sabaku from the reinforced net.

    It's hardly the 'greater good' if Z destroys the entire zone and most probably the barrier along with it! Trust me; he'll manage it with two legendary Pokemon and this God Stone that he's been looking for. If you're so sure that the barrier can't be lowered at all, then I'll just have to wait until it can, won't I.

    I know! But it look like there's not way out for now - unless... I'll take a look at the forcefield and see exactly what it seems to be made of, and try and work out where the source of it is. I'm hoping that I can find a way to deflect it, but I may need to completely deactivate it to get out.

Soon, you come upon a colossal oak tree in the middle of the city upon which the power plant sits. You approach the doors only to find a Volbeat and an Illumise stationed outside.



    "Sorry, ma'am, but we can't let anyone inside while the Citywide Security Field is up," Volbeat says as he holds out an arm. "The wellbeing of Skyline Terrace depends on it."

    psssh you don't have to deflect it it's probably just an electromagnetic shield generator, if you make a magnet bomb it should disrupt the current for long enough for you to slip through, sabaku should be fast enough and sal can make the magnet bomb
    at least if the sz has any normal physics that would be how it would work
