Over the ages, people and Pokemon
worked alongside one another and
created many things.

As a result of this, a leader appeared
among the humans.

This leader sought to produce
even more goods.

Increased production of goods created
a gap between the have and the have-nots

3,000 years before the rise and fall of Team Flare, the Kalos region was the envy of the world, magnificent technology created from crystals brought energy to homes and streets. Long months of traveling across the region had become a thing of the past as certain crystals empowered by the strength of psychic Pokemon allowed for near instantaneous teleportation of goods and people to any point in the region. Even rumors of technological advances producing balls that store and carry Pokemon were whispered through out the streets. It was truly a golden era for Kalos.

Yet the envy of neighboring regions was not to be underestimated. For the rest of the world Kalos was seen as weak, and ripe for plundering. When war came it was thought that the vast slums of Kalos and the hidden sweat shops that worked to keep the rich and wealthy would rise up, and overthrow the ruling classes while the other regions ransacked Kalos of all of it's wealth and technology.

Instead when the ships amassed along the border of Kalos, poised to strike Couriway Town along with the other cities along the border. The king and the rich raised a army not out of national pride or honor, but out of money.

You are a soldier in the Kalos army, having either joined because of honor, pride, or a chance to gain more riches than you would have ever seen in five lifetimes of work. You have been assigned to the lazy port city of Cyllage far from the war front on the other side of Kalos. The only reference to the war plaguing the region is that of the reports that come across the crystals and are reported in the town's daily newspaper. Yet the days of laying on the beach or climbing the steep rock cliffs are soon to come to a end. On the horizon a massive battle fleet can be seen,their white masts look like one long rolling cloud that stretch the sea.

Unova has entered the war, and you are now on the front line.

Specialty: There are three types that go along with your Pokemon
* Soldier: The usual sword and battle axe soldier that specializes in strength
* Archer: Specializes in accuracy with a bow and arrow
* Calvary: Soldiers riding Pokemon, usually with a sword in their hand
* Rogue: Soldier that uses his or her Pokemon to engage in stealth and kill from the shadows or from behind enemy lines

Name: Garen Randall
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: He stands around 6' tall with messy brown hair that travels midway down his neck, he wears a black eye patch over his left eye with a scar that travels down it.
Pokemon: Female Pyroar
Personality: He has little love for Kalos or the ruling class, but is desperate to provide for his family back in the slums of Lumiose City, as such he believes that if he dies that his loved ones will die from hunger or disease. He usually keeps to himself and avoids answering too many questions about his past. He truly does not want to kill anyone, but the offer of wealth by joining the army is too much for him to pass up.
History: He has been working in a factory ever since he was three, producing parts and equipment to power the crystals as well as luxuries for the rich. He lost his left eye at the age of twelve when a loose metal bolt was shot into the socket and remains wedged inside him to this day.
Specialty: Soldier
Other: He is the main income earner for his mother and two sisters, and wishes to keep them from working in a sweat shop at all costs.

Name: Ferro Strom
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Appearance: He stands at 6 foot 2 with short jet black hair with blonde streaks in the front. He wears a necklace with a sword made of gold and diamonds.
Pokemon: Male Accelgor and Male Escavalier
Personality: He can be hard to deal with at first but when you get to know him he can be a real sweetheart. He fight's to protect his loved ones in Lumiose City. He doesn't like strangers and if approached, his pokemon will protect him at all costs. He wants the war to just be over.
History: He owned a prestigious salon in Lumiose city along with his wife before the war started. His brother died of a sickness and his necklace is the only memento of him.
Specialty: Rouge
Other: He carries a kit of tools at all times.

Name: Alexandre
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Appearance: A fellow of 6’2”, with short red hair, green eyes and a small amount of stubble. He has a small chunk of his right ear missing from a close call with a sword.
Pokemon: Male Noctowl named Victor, Female Kirlia named Celes
Personality: He never speaks, due to trauma-induced mutism. Despite that, he’s very expressive and writes messages to others when he has something to say. And he usually does; he’s very opinionated. He tries to avoid close-range combat, freezing up when he’s being attacked. He gives his Pokemon commands via hand signals, his Kirlia being able to pick up his thoughts as well
History: Soldiers destroyed his home when he was a child. Only he and his two younger sisters survived. He now works to support both of them to keep them from having to work themselves to death.
