We both send our first pokemon to the ref and he/she ref decides who attacks first.
DQ: 5 days (this should be no problem I think).

The arena is up to you. Nothing too distracting I would say, but if you have a complex idea that's cool too. I'd love to hear it.

Round 1
We enter a battle for the masses to see -- a colossal battle between the two titan moderators, DarkestLight and MeLoVeGhOsTs. Their first pokémon are secrets to the other as the hadsome and ageless referee, Greyfox, tosses them into the castle arena. Emerging from the two is Irou, a smooth-chirping murkrow, and Wyndryde, a stoic absol. The attacks are called out, the the battle begins!

Irou begins by flapping his tiny winds and whipping up a tiny waft of wind to sweep along the dungeon and across Wynd's features [ -5HP, -10% Spd Wyndryde / -5PP Irou ]. Wynd takes the brushing lightly before blasting the bird out of the air with a weakened snap of electricity [ +25% Par Irou / -5PP Wyndryde ].

Irou, slightly perturbed, decides to confuse his foe with a vacant stare, but Wynd's come prepared. The crow stares blankly into the eyes of his foe before realizing that the eyes he's staring into are in fact his own [ +25% Con, -3PP Irou / -5PP Wyndryde ].

Irou blinks for a few seconds before absorbing a bolt of pure electricity shot from Wynd [ -14HP Irou / -7PP Wyndryde ]. He snaps back to reality long enough to ascend into the air and dive into Wynd in a corkscrew fasion [ -8HP Wyndryde / -6PP Irou ].

Irou closes his eyes and keeps his cool, alleviating his confusing muchly [ +10% SpA, +10% SpD, -5PP Irou ] as Wynd hits him with a series of rocks from inside the castle walls [ -11HP Irou / -5PP Wyndryde ].

Feeling satisfied with the way that last attack went down, Wynd readies another. A powerful blast of energy shoots through the air, utilizing its surroundings to gather strength. The energy blast collides sharply with Irou [ -7HP Irou / -5PP Wyndryde ]. It feels like he's been stabbed, but he's still capable, using his telekinesis to lift his paralysis and grant it to his opponent [ -25% Par, -7PP Irou / +25% Par Wyndryde ].

Suddenly faster than his foe, Irou swoops down from a high altitude and slaps a small collection of dust and dirt into Wynd's eyes, blinding him temporarily [ -4HP, -10% Acc Wyndryde / -4PP Irou ]. The blindness causes Wynd's flamethrower to go off-target, just barely clipping the bird [ -4HP Irou / -7PP Wyndryde ].

Round 3
Wynd readies for a chilling wind, but gets slapped in the eyes with another volley of mud before he can utilize his technique [ -4HP, -10% Acc Wyndryde / -4PP Irou ]. The absol struggles against it before summoning to chilling winds to brush against the bird, dealing moderate damage [ -8HP, -10% Spd Irou / -3PP Wyndryde ].

The murkrow plans out his next attack and, feeling like he knows what Irou's about to do next, Wynd attempts it as well. However, before he can even muster the strength to do so, his muscles seize up! Just in time for him to be struck by Irou's own heat wave [ -11HP Wyndryde / -9PP Irou ].

Irou then summons a maelstrom of stale energy to envelope around a target around Wynd, but somehow the wolf has completely evaded it [ -6PP Irou ]! Wynd, with his muscles relaxed, has vanished into the shadows before appearing behind Irou and tackling him to the ground weakly [ -4HP Irou / -3PP Wyndryde ].

Ready to take down this crow, Wynd starts charging up a little electricity in his body, but before he can do something with it, Irou stares into his eyes and lulls him into a mild confusion [ +25% Con Wyndryde / -4PP Irou ] that makes him completely unable to do anything...

The bird caws and cackles, releasing another brilliant heat wave that engulfs the wolf. Wynd endures the hit as best as he can [ -11HP Wyndryde / -9PP Irou ] before retalliating with a blade of electricity that shoots Irou out of the air [ -9HP Irou / -4PP Wyndryde ]; his confusion is now eased.

Irou ascends into the air once more before drenching the absol in more heat [ -11HP Wyndryde / -9PP Irou ]. Wynd's muscles freeze up once more, preventing him from retalliating.

He knows what his opponent is about to do, but before he can even act it out, his muscles lock up once more! It's like he can't perform the technique whatsoevef -- but Wynd's paralysis doesn't prevent Irou's own heat wave from coming [ -11HP Wyndryke / -9PP Irou ].

Irou, satisfied, swiftly tackles Wynd with wind energy at his side [ -6HP Wyndryde / -3PP Irou ], just in time to be pegged with Wynd's shock wave [ -9HP Irou / -4PP Wyndryde ].

The crow caws for a second before summoning his icy wind [ -6HP, -10% Spd Wyndryke / -4PP Irou ]. The winds slow him down, but Wynd is still able to shoot off another shockwave [ -9HP Irou / -4PP Wyndryde ].

Round 7
Irou begins flying erraticly to throw Wynd off his scent. However, Wynd's muscles, like clockwork, fail him once more as he gets hit with a powerful drill peck [ -8HP Wyndryde / -5PP Irou ].

Wynd manages to pull himself together long enough to zap the bird out of the sky with a swift thunderbolt [ -14HP Irou / -7PP Wyndryde ]. The bird merely takes a few more moments to pull himself back together before setting up his devastating combo attack.

With a powerful aura about him, Irou dives down into his adversary, dealing harsh damage as he does so [ -13HP Wyndryde / -8PP, -5HP Irou ]. Wynd is ultimately overpowered by the attack and is defeated, making way for Darkly's next pokémon, but Irou's not doing too great either at the moment.

The very tired murkrow is recalled and replaced by Minne, a powerful azumarill. She surrounds her fist in ice and readies herself to attack, but Vigilance has completely vanished from the arena! Where is...? Before she can ponder it any longer, she is struck from behind, knocking her over [ -6HP Minne / -4PP Vigilance ]. The ice on her hand has lost its luster, but she still manages to give Vig quite a punch [ -7HP Vigilance / -5PP Minne ].

Vigilance pulls some of her own lifeforce together and creates a duplicate [ -15HP, -5PP Vigilance / +15HP PidgeoTwo ]. Minne stares at the doll and shrieks loudly in an attempt to confuse it [ -3PP Minne ], but the doll just continues staring blankly.

Vigilance fires off a blast of energy while Minne is distracted. The blast completely overtakes her and knocks her off her feet [ -7HP Minne / -5PP Vigilance ]. Minne rolls back to her feet before running around the doll, creating an odd whirlwind that barely causes any harm at all to it [ -3HP PidgeoTwo / -2PP Minne ].

Vigilance beats his wings quickly, creating a gust of ethereal wind to brush against Minne's features [ -6HP Minne / -4PP Vigilance ]. The water rabbit doesn't mind the hit so much, and instead focuses on her own strengths. Rhythmically, she pounds against her stomache, igniting a passion for the battle at hand [ +60%* Atk, *0% Eva, -60% Spd, -5PP Minne ].

Not pleased with the direction his opponent has chosen to take the match, Vigilance darts around the arena, increasing his speed greatly [ +20% Spd, -5PP Vigilance ]. Minne, meanwhile, creates an aura of water energy to soothe her spirits and regenerate her lost health [ +6% Reg, -5PP Minne ].

With a hunger in her eyes, Minne throws out her fist -- it's very icy and very dangerous. Vigilance looks frightened, but remains poised as she swats at the air with her wings, creating a sharpened blade that swiftly slashes the aquarabbit, making her lose complete focus [ -7HP, +2HP Minne, FLINCH / -3PP Vigilance ]. Wow, that was lucky!

The aquarabbit shakes it off and lets loose with a very powerful ice punch that completely demolishes the clone Lance had set up a few rounds ago (and probably forgot about) [ -12HP PidgeoTwo / -5PP, +2HP Minne ].

Lance continues to soften up Minne [ -5PP Vigilance / -20% Atk Minne ] as the aquarabbit hobbles closer to her, uppercutting her with a jet of water [ -12HP Vigilance / -4PP, +2HP Minne ].

Lance, feeling satisfied, climbs into the air before beating at the wind with her wings -- summoning a gale of grim darkness to sweep across the castle arena. The attack causes weak damage [ -6HP Minne / -4PP Vigilance ] against Minne, who merely responds with a powerful body check that sends Lance to the floor [ -12HP Vigilance / -6PP, +2HP Minne ].
