I mean REALLY people. All this phasing is like to give you the heebie-jeebies about disappearing people. At any rate, Asuma is the first to go ka-poof, with Sama following him. There is nothing for a second, and then the two of them are flying through the air is opposite directions, wincing like their heads have been knocked together. They probably ran into each other in the ether of Things That Disappear go.

Well with that head smash, Asuma is not feeling up to par with his combo. So he gets his scattered marbles together and then focuses on where Sama is. Sama meanwhile has also been gathering his wits, and finds his foe. They run at each other, one hand upright like a karate chop, the other cocked back and bursting into flame. Asuma slams his chop into Sama's shoulder the same time he delivers his punch to his face. Asuma yowls in pain and jumps back, his shoulder smarting. Asuma however is down and out, his right cheek smouldering.

Asuma got 3% from the not quite Faint Attack, almost a very odd Tackle. Then he got 16% from the Fire Punch, and he was out.

Sama got 3% from the weird Faint Attack, and 16% from the Brick Break. The Poison(2%) and Burn(1%) added on.

So the female Bulbasur, Ino, comes running onto the field from the sidelines, ready to give her all. Sama meanwhile looks about ready to keel over. So he decides a nice sleep would be good about now. He flops over and promptly starts to look a whole lot healthier. Ino takes the chance to fire a health sucking seed at him. It has no trouble hitting the prone Snubbull, and attaches itself perfectly.

Sama is still sleeping away, when Ino decides to have a bit of fun with him. She launches a flurry of leaves at him from under her bulb. They all sail and smash into him, leave a dozen cut and slices on his body. Sama twitches in his sleep but is otherwise undisturbed.

The last round has Ino shooting out a dozen or so vines, all barbed with thorns. They burrow into the ground and snake their way to Sama. They burst out of the ground all around him and slice into him. They whack and thwap, in general cause Sama an enormous amount of pain. This is more then sufficient to wake him up. He roars in pain and sucks in an enormous amount of air for his small body. He focuses in on Ino and fires his blast of fire. The torrent makes it way to her with deadly accuracy and engulfs her form. She scr4eams and when it is over, she is one black Bulb.

Sama got 6% from the Razor leaf, 15% from the Frenzy Plant and 3% from the Seed. He got a max of 35% health back. My max damage limit of 35% also applies to the max health benefit. All status effects were taken away.

Soo Ino goes with a simple you goin dowwwwwwwwwn! Routine. Unfortunately Sama is having none of that. As she fires her multicoloured leaves, he reminisces about that spicy burger that makes you breathe fire. He grins and spews, a flame smelling of chicken bearing down on Ino. The leaves stop some of the fire before it is incinerated. A little bit still hits her, but it is much better then it could have been.

Now well, you know the drill by now don't you? Ino runs at Sama and he declies to nicely stay put and disappears into the ether. Ino skids to a stop, annoyed, before getting slammed from . . . well choose a direction. She tumbles a little and yelps, but is not to badly shaken up.

Now on too the charred up leaves once more. A flurry of razor sharp leaves (hence the name) comes a flinging at Sama. He says, no thank you; I prefer my plants BBQ'd thanks. He breathes his torrent of flames and promptly turns the leaves to ashes. They once more stop some of the fire, giving Ino a bit of a break.

Well first off Sama reaches deep within himself and . . . gongs. Rather loud and spectacularly. His vocal cords were vibrating in the strangest way possible. Immediately he felt a lot better, even Ino did. Ino however was not pleased with how the seed retracted its vines and fell off. She retaliated by whipping out her vines and slamming Sama all over his body with him. They hurt, but it was more of an annoyance then true pain.

No Sama pulled the trick out of the bag again. He leapt into the darkness and it enveloped him. He was invisible until he whacked into Ino from the right. She grunt and spun about, but was all right. She in turn then focused on the sun. She chanted a little and light stared to be drawn into her. Her entire body glowed and when it was finished, she looked much better, if tired.

Now Ino turned to Sama and grinned. She ran at him, going as fast as her stubby legs would allow. Sama was once again think fiery thoughts. He felt much better after the Heal Bell and his SA was back to normal. Ino leaped as he fired. The fired torched her belly, and she cried out as she slammed onto Sama. He belly screamed protest for the abuse after being torched and she cried out again. Sama was not much appreciating being smushed either.
