I tell you Brian, I may have been nominated for "Most Devoted Writer", but this comic strip is showing some real devotion. I can come home after working all night, and I can be sure to see a new installment. The most I can do on "Sorcerer Kings" is once a week.

Ada: Good question. Blademaster's a dropout, and Shuppet Master has something to do with Mr. Shades. Perhaps the joke in #60 is getting a little old, but it's necessary for a greater purpose. Slightly greater, at least.

And as for the scene in #9, I don't think I ever confirmed who said that. In any event, someone didn't like the sight of Lil' Pika.


DS: It seems you're trying to piece together some clues. But only time will tell how accurate your unsaid assumptions are.

Getting a page posted daily is not easy. I've got a dwindling reservoir of pages ready to be posted, but it's getting to the point where I have to create three or four pages on both Saturday and Sunday to keep up. I just can't get enough work done during the week.

Ah, that brown-haired dude was Shuppet Master. I knew I'd seen it in the Fanfic Awards segment or something. But with page 61, I hope this doesn't become another case of guessing a character's identity for 9323434 pages like we did with Blademaster. Too much suspense!

A) More plentiful screenshots, easier to aquire.
B) Just to screw with us.

Suspenseful mystery was the idea. But it's hard to say whether war is even possible at this point... although it appears that someone wanted to charge into battle.

Yeah, the brunette was Shuppet Master. And don't worry; I plan to reveal the identities of all these characters well before we hit 10 million pages.


DS: Things are indeed getting tense! Who knows what may happen next...

I'm not about to reveal what happened with Becca. It's up to you to decide!

I don't expect most people here to recognize all these characters, so don't feel like you're behind. I guarantee that not every character on that last page has been guessed yet, anyway.

Faiz: Well, I guarantee that there's some logic behind the choices for these mystery characters. Logic that I refuse to reveal until the time is right. Sorry!

And yes, there's a bit of trouble brewing for the mods. But perhaps it's a lot worse than you know...


Gavin: I didn't initially plan that "get yourself together" scene for Ada. That was added on a whim... guess it worked, though. ^_^;

Believe it or not, the line of Gavin's that you mentioned was changed at the last moment, since I didn't want to push the "adult content" issue. (Plus, it fits his character a little more.) NGE fans might remember Asuka screaming a certain line over and over again while having her mind assaulted. That was the original phrase last page.

Ada's funky hat, by the way, was a mining helmet. I actually have a few pictures with that particular outfit, but I don't know if I'll use all of them. It's better to have too much than too little, right?

And hey, don't worry about the nominations. It's not like I've been begging for them, anyway. But I do wish people would make more nominations in general... we had a record number of nominees last time, but there haven't been very many so far this year.


Sage: Well, I guarantee that Ada's not happy with her colleagues right now. It's certainly possible that this will be the beginning a deep divide... maybe the War is in fact a clash among the Fanfic leaders!

But if you think that one incident of spying is a true crisis, you haven't seen anything yet. It'd take a lot more to really cause serious problems...

Huhu, I love the new use of forum-esque stuff in this fic. First there was Martin's infraction on Becca, and now ... MEMBER DUPLICATION! Egad! But excellently done, that was pretty funny.

And the clone account - just bursts out of nowhere and it's this GIGANTIC GREEN MONSTER THING. I wish Mega Horny good luck in his fight - but has he trained enough to really do anything useful? Time will tell.

There goes Mega Horny with the gun he can't shoot again For #63, yeah I like how 'I'm' pretending not to be freaked out at all. You got that totally right. And with this scene, stretching out the mods' reactions makes sense now, because we needed the transition from the beginning of spying to 'me' finding out about it.

Makes me wonder if they've either got some sort of file on this guy, or why they haven't been able to catch him and his students yet...
