Well, Mewf0ur's rant could, in some countries, be considered a political commentary, so rest assured. Besides, Charles calls it the "Mewfour program", doesn't he? Also, there weren't any commentaries following Ada's speech, as you say in your reply (no one stayed to watch it, remember? ), but following the mods conference. (I suppose this is a reference to #46, where Gavin is all "Uh, buh, well, I... we're doing... stuff!", as you put it in the following issue.)

Ooh, new guy! Could he have been "the guy" Charles was talking about that he knew in issue #114? ... And for that matter, rereading said issue, I'm beginning to wonder if "the guy" didn't have a hand in assuring no-one stayed around to watch mistysakura's announcement: "The bad news is that no one stayed to see mistysakura's announcement. Let me remind you, sir... I know a guy." If you read it like that, it would seem that a new force in FF has just shown its face to us.
But what could Charles be up to, and what would he be so "handsomely" rewarded for? Forging the ratings report? Making sure no one saw the announcement? Manipulating fireguardian to do the monkey dance? ...
Let's a-wait and see...

C-Master: You make a valid point, actually. Hadn't considered that. The Mewfour program was scheduled, yes, but Ada's announcement and the discussion that followed overrode it. Probably should've made that clearer, too... argh. If only it was easier to go back and make minor edits! ^_^;;

Perhaps the new guy is somewhat related. And perhaps he isn't so new after all... have you forgotten #7, by chance? Anyway. There are a number of ways in which the sequence of comments could be interpreted... which one is correct? And what's Charles' second job?

O.o; Does that mean that he, too, might end up suffering a wardrobe malfunction sometime in the future?...

Seadra: I try to be very careful about reusing titles. That was one of those cases where I thought it might have been done before, so I searched through all my previous titles to make sure it wasn't a duplicate.

Yes, it would appear that they did know each other. The context of their relationship, however, has yet to be revealed.

A lot of people find that missing character to be... unique. But no, I didn't create him. His name is Shin, and he's the star of the anime and manga Crayon Shin-chan.


Gavin: I still think you ought to take a nibble of that Collingwood hat. Might want to see how it tastes before making statements like that.

Yeah, it was hard to find a good picture of her for that. I'm glad my searching didn't go to waste.
