PC: Now, now. We're not that hostile toward each other. We just think we are.

You don't want to be embarrassed in front of all your peers? Darn. I had an entire heckling chant planned and everything...

Ada: They've got their reasons for thinking he'd be a good choice. (As weird as it is to talk about "them" when it's our characters.) But what could those reasons be? Why would they both think that someone who actively thwarted a mod's plans be a decent ally?

Maybe it's all about the power... wahaha!

Gabi: It's easier than you might think.

Blade: Maybe you just don't talk with Gavin often enough. Or maybe I have plans in that regard. Either way, I concede nothing!

On that note, let us continue.

#171: Courage might be an odd choice of words, but our mystery man did stop Gavin's assault. Still, one can understand the incredulity.

This was one of those pages that gave me a lot of trouble during the design process. With so much text (and long words at the ends of sentences), cramming multiple large word bubbles into individual panels was a necessary struggle. I changed pictures for a couple of panels multiple times to try to create more space.

Ada explained what the new candidate has to offer the team. Brian reminded Gavin of his humiliation.
