The Area:

A dangerous quarry home to Rock and Ground types. Footing is loose, and there's always work being done. A few Fighting types and some rare Steel types also make their homes here


The Journey:

With a fit of anger and rage, the Larvitar and Rudiasho go at it. The Blaziken focuses his energy into his fist while the wild Larvitar's arm glows with a strong force before they lunge at each other (-4/-7). The attacks collide, knocking each back with a hard hit (-16/-11). The attacks hit home, both doing a good bit of damage. Nepenthes waits, before unleashing a cloud of spores forth towards the recovering Larvitar (-4), but the Rock-Ground is in too much pain to fall asleep yet.

The Ivysaur whips his vines out to slam into the Larvitar (-6/-20) which hits the smaller Pokémon hard. The Larvitar growls before charging a large sphere of energy in its mouth before unleashing it right at Rudiasho (-14/-16, +5), blasting the Blaziken as well as the area around it.

You take your shot as the Larvitar looks weakened and regaining it's strength. Your Poké Ball flies from your hand, connecting with the Pokémon, splitting and converting the creature into energy. The ball reforms, rocking back and forth before you hear the hopeful “ding” indicating a capture. The Poké Ball disappears in a flash of light as your Poké Dex receives a message.

Congratulations.

Your new Larvitar can be collected when your Safari Adventure is over. Our scanners indicate that you have an Ultra Ball on your person, and you may continue your adventure.

Um. I realize that the Safari Zone seems to have hit a bit of a slow time, but it's been almost two months, I'd really like to finish up and Mew Master seems to be too busy to check in these days. I sent him a PM maybe two weeks ago and got no response, so rather than keep nagging/waiting on him can I just keep going with someone else? I potentially only need one update if this capture works; if not, it should only be a few more rounds of battle. At this point I just want to leave, even if it has to be without the Flygon, so that I can claim my Larvitar and evolve my Ivysaur who has been sitting on some experience for a good three-four months now.

To recap, I saw a Flygon, tried to talk it into joining me without a fight, it said it wanted to see me catch a Larvitar first. I finally caught the Larvitar in MM's last post (should be able to see it if you click on the link in the quote and go up one post), and this was the last thing that I said:

You head into the crevice and switch on a small light on top of your hat. The light illumintaes the whole crevice as you swim through it as you go you see a Huntail blip past and a Clampearl on the ground. Up above you, you can see light flittering.

We head towards the light and investigate. If it happens to reveal a seperate area for us to head towards, we go there.
