You inspect the tracks closer but there doesn't seem to be any discernable difference, it looks like an equal number of Snorunt and Abomasnow split off down both tunnels.

You look over at your Gengar, and ask it to go convey your question to the balon., Boo floats over as it heads out and they stop and have a chat. After a few moments Boo waves bye to the Drifloon and floats back to you.

In not so many words, Boo tells you that there are secrets in this place closer to the ground. Psychic types generally don't gather here, but you might see a special one every now and again. But they hide, so you'd have to search long and hard.

What do you do?

Well, in that case, I'm going to thank King Boo for the tidbit of information on finding Psychic types, and immediately start to look for some spots that may look out of the ordinary.

Armed with knowledge, you and your cohorts all turn to head back downstairs. Venus stops though, as she sees an Aipom run by again, still determined as ever. This time, there's a larger form standing alongside him as well. All in all, it looks non-threatening to you and your party, and the exit is straight down and to the left.

What do you do?

Hmm, I seem to have two ponderables here, one, is that Aipom the same one I encountered earlier, and two, I have a slight suspicion on what the other Pokemon might be, so I'd like to carefully approach both Pokemon, just incase they both are friendly.

Carefully, you and your group all pile into the living room, standing aways from the Aipom. The Aipom slams his handtail on the ground, and it makes a strange thud..strange since the floor seems to be wood.

Looking at the larger form, you note the dual hand tails and sigh. Its only an Ampibom, prolly related to the little one somehow. But the little one and the Big One get to work hammering their tails on the floor.

What do you do?

I figured that bigger Pokemon would probably be an Ambipom, so I'm going to wish them both good luck with what they're doing, before taking my crew back outside so that we can eventually look around the back of the building.

The two Pokemon looked back at you and your crew, and instantly freeze. You wave, and head out. As all of you walk back into the sunlight you note the Sun starting to set.

Walking around the building, you see nothing but desolate views of dust and rocky terrain. A ways out, you spot something, a Buneary coming out of the ground. But that's all..

What do you do?

East looks promising now, so that's where you head. After a good walk yer back in the more populated side of town, Togetic flock flying by and all..

You note the close proximity of the buildings, as well as the fact that the Old Village, though devoid of human life-has a thriving Pokemon population. A Glameow jumps out of a window and into the main street. A Gulpin slides along, playing with a Buneary.

Stunky bops about, playing with a tumbleweed.

You size up the buildings, and run into one to your left. Inside, you notice......nothing unusual. Old wood building...dusty furniture..metallic door on floor..

Running up to the metal door, you grab the ring handle and pull on it with all your might. It doesn't budge. Backing away, Hydronix takes the reins. With a massive strong tug, the door creaks open, allowing you and your crew to see a long staircare. No other lights are visible..

Whoa, and there go a few Zubats- free from the musky air that escapes from down there.

Carefully, you and everyone go down the stairs descending into the darkness beyond.

It isn't long before you perceive you are on ground. But its pitch black, how can you see anything. You don't take another step, fearing that you could fall into a pit. The light situation gets remedied partially, when you spot three glowing spheres from a short distance away. It's a Magneton, emitting just enough electricity to see around it.

It floats up to you and your crew, and beeps happily. Seems no ones been down this way for some time and it's been trapped here. Hydronix relates to you that' he'll gladly follow ya'll about for light if you offer to help it find his siblings.

As you consider this-you alsp spot a Mankey..meditating...right by your foot. Whoa, one step more and you would have gotten beat in the dark.

What do you do?

I'm going to tell the Magneton I'll be glad to help it find its siblings, as for the Mankey, I'm going to carefully and quietly move around it, telling all of my Pokemon not to make a sound.

Magneton uses a controlled Flash to illuminate the area. Instantly, you see that the one Mankey is nestled next to a Primeape. You and the crew quietly edge around the duo and head down the corridor in front of you.

Down here, this place seems quite odd. Every few feet or so, you pass a door made of bars, rooms situated behind them. Almost as if this was a ...prison... of sorts.

You look in a cell, and you see a Trash Cloak Wormadam in a corner, gagging. There's a Electivire in there as well, just,,kinda standing there, looking down the hallway as well.

What do you do?

The Electivire is tempting, but since I have my Electabuzz, Surge, I'll just say hello to the Electivire, telling it I'm planning on evolving Surge someday (thankfully Surge has the experience needed to evolve), before I ask the Magneton if any Psychic types might be down in this hidden area we uncovered.

You make sure not to harass the Electivire any, who sparks a tad when he sees you all walk by. But hey-no harm no foul right? Mag takes the lead, and you walk by another row of cells-before you each a fork in the road. Both lead you down hallways with cells, but you hear banging down the Northern end.

However sparking comes from the Southern end, and then a huge swath of light could be seen..and then it fades.

Maggy floats toward the south, interested in the sparking. He beeps and boops, translated by Venus into saying "Maybe, there's only 2. They were looking for a third to become a Magneton of their own.

A Magnemite then zips out of a cell, horridly charred. A roar comes from around the corner, and you all come face to face with a Magmortar who looks quite mad. A strange purple ripple strike the Magmortar from behind, and the Magmortar runs back to assault whatever was attacking it.

The Magnemite flies back into the fight. Follow or flee?

What do you do?

Hmm, that purple ripple of a Pokemon may sound like one I already got, or one of the Pokemon I came here to look for, so either way, I'm going to see what this Pokemon is.

You run over, eager to get in some action.

Around the corner, you see a Magmortar flinging fire at the shape of a bladed individual. The Gallade roundhouses the fireball backwards, and watches as the small Magnemite shoots a Thundershock at the Magmortar.

Magmortar turns around and backhands the little Magnemite and then notices you and your crew. Gallade notices as well, and wonders if you are friend or foe.

What do you do?

I'm going to tell the Gallade and the Magmortar that I'm not an enemy to either of them, that I'm just looking around for something. From there I'm going to ask the Magneton where the exit of this place is, just incase it can lead me and my Pokemon out, then tell the Gallade I wish to befriend him if I can, saying how I admire that his arms are so sword-like.

Your message is relayed, but truncated, as Magmortar roars. Who tries to make friends in the middle of a fight? Magmortar runs for your crew, and Magneton blasts a Thunderbolt to stop him in his tracks. As the fire beast stands up, Gallade stares you down, swordblades glowing.

The lil Magnemite weakly floats over to his older sibling now, leaving one more to be found. Magneton already begins to back away toward the way they came, as Magmortar starts after you all again. Gallade runs down the hallway...with the second sibling in tow!
