You look up, and find it to be coming from a flock of Staravia that all appear to be making some sort of formation in the air, although you can't quite make it out.

Yay cablecar! You and Gin run in, and sit down, glad to be out of the win partially. With a whirr and a click, the machine stars and up you go.

Elevator music plays as the crisp air blows by, much softer. Fearow and Staraptor are your only aerial viewers thus far, but looking down the side of the car, you and Gin spot a few others. There's a Snover waving at you, before rolling down the mountain. Piplup too...

Oh hey another entrance, near the summit no less. And whoa, peering out of that summit is a Porygon2. But it zips back in pretty danged quickly.

You run over to the Torterra before it turns and heads back in the woods. Though out of breath, you both explain what you learned and the ol' Torterra smiles at you. Just then, that angry Torterra bursts out the Woods, and is dead set on toppling you over? Seems he likes traitors as much as the other grassy Pokemon.

The friendly Torterra slowly ambles in front of you. You get teh feeling this Torterra is older-and possibly wiser. Frost tells you that its saying that it can deal with this threat, and you should get that herb to the Dratini.

Turning to face the tree that the Spearow is in, you turn to Sterling, and ask him what the Spearow is seeing in the tree. The Skarmory complies, and flies up near the Spearow, and asks her your question. The two bird Pokemon begin to communicate about something, and soon Sterling flies back down and gives you the Spearow's answer.

"This tree wasn't always hollow. Some time ago, something just happened inside the tree...the inside of it was a little bit fragile, which you wouldn't expect around here, and one day, a Pokemon that was looking for some berries ended up ramming into the tree. Though the tree didn't fall down, somehow most of the interior crumbled into this pile inside the tree. However, since the tree had some holes in it prior to this event, it made it possible to see inside it, if you looked hard enough. But there's nothing of value inside the tree, just this mess of sap and wood that I guess you wouldn't be able to make much use of."

Not knowing what kind of Pokemon could do this to the tree, you breathe a sigh of relief to see it is still standing despite what happened. The Spearow soon flies down to your level, as if she had something additional to say.

I've been hearing that the Bidoof and Bibarel around here have been using the wood from these trees occasionally for their construction work in the Pond area, but they have avoided this tree completely, since a hollow tree wouldn't be strong enough for their work. But I assure you, it wasn't one of them who did this to the tree, something else around here did it, so I'd be careful. Oh, and by the way, before you go, there's something I should tell you. A friend of mine that currently makes his home in the jungle area lost his tail feather somewhere around here on his last visit, which is very important to him, can you deliver it to him, please?"

Sterling re-assures the Spearow that you will look for the missing feather. Spearow thanks him, and tells him a clue about the feather, being of an unusual shape. Sterling gives you this bit of information, and then he thanks the Spearow, promising that the feather will be found and returned to its owner. From there, the Spearow flies forward toward what she sees as a suspicious looking pile of leaves on the ground in the distance, and beckons you to follow her.

Following the Spearow toward the pile of leaves, you catch sight of a Bibarel gnawing on a tree, as well as a pair of Shroomish looking on at the Bibarel's work. Finally, you reach the pile of leaves. As you begin to move them out of the way, you see the object that the Spearow was talking about...a black coloured tail feather, of a shape not quite like a regular tail feather.

"You found it! Now, please return this to its rightful owner. You'll have to listen for it when you get to the jungle. Good bye!" the Spearow says as she flies off.

Picking up the oddly shaped feather, you place it in your pocket for safe keeping, and head immediately for the jungle area. Having to go through a couple of detours, you eventually reach the Feizhi Outpost, where you see an Arbok slithering after its target, a Treecko who is fighting back hard despite the type disadvantage. The Treecko cries for help as you draw near to the two.
