You start trying to wipe what is affecting Beautifly's eyes, but it doesn't seem to be any use since it was a bright light that inflicted the damage. You think it will go away in a bit though. You walk back to where you first remember yourself in the dark forest. In the immediate area, the only interesting thing you find are some footprints.

Pissed off Shadow opens his mouth and sends a trail of flames straight at the Froslass, the heat sears her skin before she manages to break free off the blast and sends a weird ghostly light towards Shadow. The light confuses Shadow in a weird way possibly preventing him from completing further attacks.

In his confused state, Shadow tries to get off another searing wave of heat but the confusion is too much and he hits himself in the head. The Froslass just laughs as it creates some clones of itself which float around Shadow.

As the clones dance around Shadow's head, he manages to get to his feet and tears through two of the clones with another blast of flames. Froslass laughs again and sends a shard of ice into Shadow's side.
