I think this would be a good first battle for us, Mikachu...I have a few Psychic types I'd love to use in battle...anyway, I'll let you choose first.
Anyone with 3 or more Psychic Type Pokemon can take part in this battle. Also Double types are allowed. Plus Psyduck, because it has psy in its name. And because it's cute.
Abilities on.
Pokemon 3 vs 3. 1 out at a time.
DQ: 2 weeks (you need to take your time and relax ^_^...)
Arena: Jubilife City Mental Hospital Gymnasium Hall
In Jubilife City Mental Hospital, Pokemon battles are used as a form of entertainment, therapy and a way to relax. Mikachu Yukitatsu has come to visit a friend. You can appear in this battle as another visitor, nurse, doctor, other employee or even patient, if you wish. Naturally there are lots of staff and patients among the audience.
Allowed Pokemon: Psychic Type, Psyduck
Other rules can be added by both opponent and ref. Even if you want us to battle with 2 Pokemon only. I'm open.
Any takers? Ref? You can decide which one sends out first.

Cool! I was afraid the challenge would be too odd for anybody, and I even considered widening the allowed Pokemon selection to any Pokemon with access to the move Psychic, but there might be no need for that. It's great that you showed up, KoT!
I'll start with the only allowed non-Psychic Pokemon in this battle, Psyduck. Her name is Psyiyie and Ability is Cloud Nine. Let's do this!
Hmm...I have a Golduck, would that work for this battle too? As for moves to not use in this battle, are you okay if we don't use Attract, Amnesia, Disable, damaging moves that always cause a status condition if they hit (e.g. Dynamicpunch, Inferno, and Zap Cannon), Substitute, Toxic, and all non-damaging recovery moves (e.g. Rest and Recover, but not Horn Leech or Giga Drain)?
Anyway, I've got quite a few Psychic types myself, however I'm going to start with a Pokemon I have never used before; my (currently nameless, as naming one of these Pokemon is real tough) male Girafarig...this should be fun.
Girafarig, let's do our very best here, use Thunderbolt, then Energy Ball, then another Thunderbolt.
As for subs, use Magic Coat if she tries using any non-damaging move you can reflect back at her, Mirror Coat if she uses Signal Beam, and Shock Wave if she tries to evade your other moves.
Mikachu, just because we're close friends in GGG doesn't mean I'll go easy on you in ASB...flexing my mental muscles is one of my trademarks here.

Thanks Oslo! OK, it would be silly if Golduck wasn't allowed but Psyduck was. I didn't think about that in the first place. Also, let's go with those banned moves. What's your Girafarig's Ability?
My moves. Let's see.
Use Dig to avoid the first Thunderbolt.
Then your toughest Water Type move, Hydro Pump.
Oops, nearly forgot that part. It's Early Bird.

G'day, folks, and welcome to Jubilife City Mental Hospital! Today, we've booked the gymnasium so we can stage some wacky Psychic hijinks between two familiar faces. Mikachu (who I've never reffed before!) and Knight of Time step up to the plate and trade off badass stares that would make both David Caruso and Clint Eastwood poop themselves in fright. Let's tarry no further, then! The trainers release, summoning a dim-witted ducky as well as one of Oslo's all-time favourite Pokemon, Girafarig! Huzzah! Let's do this.• POST-ROUND •
NOTES:
• Damage done to Psyiyie was capped at 40 HP
• At 0 EP, Pokemon will begin to lose 1 HP for every 2 EP consumed

Psyiyie, Flash!
Follow with something cold, Ice Beam!
Finish with even colder, Blizzard.
And if he decides to use any Electric attack, Protect.
Girafarig, we got ourselves a situation we can capitalize on, so let's do it!
Use Thunderbolt to force her into repeatedly using Protect and wearing herself down early...hopefully one of them will break through!

Alright Girafarig, things are looking good for us.
Keep up with the Thunderbolts (in the case of Ice Beam, make the beams collide!), but...
...if she goes for Blizzard, use Agility to dodge it, if she tries Double Team or any other way of evasion, go after her and use Shock Wave, finally, be ready to use Magic Coat if you have to reflect any non-damaging moves you can reflect back at Psyiyie.
As long as we can get at least one hit in on the Psyduck this round, we'll have a chance to increase that momentum later on.

I have to say I don't actually know how this will work, but we'll see soon. Let's try Wonder Room!
Next, capture him inside a Whirlpool!

Ah, so that's the deal with Wonder Room.
We don't have much time, but Screech!
Then, use Scratch!
If you still can, another Scratch!
If he Thunderbolts the first turn, try to Protect yourself instead of Screech, but no subs for the two other actions!
Girafarig, let's try to use Magic Coat to reflect that Screech back at Psyiyie, then let's finish her with a combo of Sucker Punch + Thunderbolt to bring her down.

Psyiyie back! Go my Bronzor Brooh! Ability Heavy Metal.
A Bronzor? Great, this is reminding me of the battle I had with chaos_redefined where I used a Bronzor against his Chingling (of course, my Bronzor evolved after that battle)...no matter.
Alright Girafarig, we don't much energy left, so let's make sure we can do as much damage to your new opponent before I send out the Pokemon I hope will complete the job.
Use Thunderbolt as many times as you can, but if Brooh tries evading them with Double Team, Faint Attack, or any other evasive move, use Shock Wave instead!
As for subs, use Magic Coat if you find yourself needing to use it, to reflect anything non-damaging you can reflect back!
Edit: Oslo, I just thought of something I better ask you...when it comes to reffing Magic Room or Wonder Room, can a Pokemon whose respective special or physical attacks were affected use one of the affected moves at less strength in order to make it do more damage through the effects of either Magic Room or Wonder Room? e.g. with Wonder Room currently in effect, would it be possible to use a physical move at less strength to make it deal more damage this way through Wonder Room?
I hope that above part doesn't confuse you, Oslo...I'm barely used to the B/W moves still, but slowly and steadily adjusting myself to them.

Yeah, that could be done.
I haven't forgotten about Signal Beam, so use that.
Then let's see what happens if we Skill Swap!

Brooh, try to finally take advance of Wonder Room and use Rock Tomb!
Signal Beam then!
Finish with Earthquake.
If they Protect, Double Team all the way.
Girafarig, let's go out with a bang here, show Brooh we mean business by using a combo of Sucker Punch and a double Earthquake, however, if Brooh is fully paralyzed on his first action, use a triple Earthquake instead!
You'll more than likely faint this round Girafarig, but nonetheless, keep it up!

Alright, I didn't want to use a fully evolved Pokemon here, but I'm not letting my lead slip away without giving a stiff fight here. Blademaster, I need your assistance!
This Blademaster I speak of is my Gallade, whose ability is Steadfast (and yes, I named him after the TPMer of the same name that we all know).
Okay Blademaster, we got a job we have to finish, so let's do it! Rock Brooh's world with a barrage of widespread Earthquakes, and be ready to use any of them at low power if he tries Wonder Room again.
But, be ready to use Magic Coat if he uses a move prone to being reflected back, Shock Wave if he tries to evade the Earthquakes using Double Team, Faint Attack, or another similar move, and be especially ready to use Imprison if he uses Signal Beam again.

Interesting.
Brooh, take advantage of your paralyzed low speed and use Gyro Ball!
Next, use Shadow Ball!

Brooh, try to pull through at least one Shadow Ball before you are knocked out!
Better try thrice!
Alright Blademaster, we'll take that first Shadow Ball, then I want you to use a triple Drain Punch combo to knock Brooh out!

My last Pokemon...
DUN DUN DUN!
My female Gothorita Miru with Frisk Ability! Knows Meditate. Go!
Oh, trying to make a comeback, I see? Heh, we'll just see about that.
Blademaster, use Night Slash as many times as you can this round.
As for subs, be ready to use Snatch or Magic Coat against any moves prone to having their effects taken away (e.g. Double Team, Imprison) or being reflected back (including Torment and Embargo), and if she tries to use Faint Attack, I want you wait until she hits you, then retaliate by doing a 360 degree Night Slash to catch her by surprise (basically, extending your arms to do your own version of Link's famous Whirling Blade technique while using Night Slash).

Use Shadow Ball again.
Then Foul Play.
End this round round with another Shadow Ball.
Blademaster, use Imprison to stop her from using Shadow Ball (if this one hits you though, that's okay), then if that Foul Play would have had enough power to knock you out, use Endure + Pain Split...otherwise, if Foul Play is not strong enough to knock you out, use Pain Split, followed by a Night Slash!

Heh, I figured that last round would go just the way I predicted.
But before I post my next moves Oslo, I have to ask a question.
If I recall Blademaster and send out my third Pokemon, will Imprison still be in effect on Miru (meaning, would she be unable to use Shadow Ball until the match is over?)? I'm actually thinking of letting my third Pokemon for this match finish the job, I'm just not ready to recall Blademaster yet.
