Arena is a standard Indigo arena but with Long Grass and some overhanging trees around the edges. Although the trees dont crowd the arena they do lean in such a way to provide dense overhead foliage that would severely hinder repeated use of flying type attacks, (Damage/Entanglement etc) without causing an unfair obstacle to normal flying for Pokemon such as Butterfree etc. (Basically, stop Spamming Aerial Ace!)

No no no. The tinking sounds of grains on his body were harmonious with his attacks. Scizor was quick to whip up a whole new Sandstorm for Exodus to enjoy, but the dead ghost had enough purgatory for one day. The Sands-they go up, and then they fall back down as the shell releases a powerful burst of light that clears the skies and makes way for sun. (-2)

Uncool. Really uncool. Scizor speed over and slaps the ghost with a swipe that doesn't hurt. Its the wind that follows the swipe that burns against Ex's skeleton. Seared, the ghost seems to quit the battle, burying itself back into the ground. (-2)

Nothing seems to happen as Scizor waits for his quarry.Was he really gone? It seemed to, until his right leg shot down into the ground, and then his whole body went flying upward. Scizor turned the fall into a flip and failed in the air. A cyclone of wind sweeped through the area, and Ex was caught in its wake, leaving him on the ground.

Scizor seemed unstoppable at the moment. One would think nothing could catch up to this Pokemon, until Grey whips out a Yanmega, that flies directly into Scizor's path. The crimson bug knows something is up and goes for an immediate backhand slap to move this megadragonfly out of the way. Oregon however won't be pushed round so easily and flings a bunch of rocks up from the dirt to trip him up.

S: -3E/-6H ~~ Or: -5E/-8H

That backhand to his side was pretty hefty. Oregon switched gears immediately, as Scizor dashed in for another Steel hit-this one being a wing slap to Oregon's underbelly. Oregon flew up after the strike and performed a single loop. Scizor didn't understand what was that for, until the wind knocked him down. Stupid air attacks!

Scizor continues to set the pace for this battle, another wing to Oregon's gut seals the deal. Oregon really doesn't like this and commands the inner energies within him to come out and help. They speed forth, and knock Scizor back, but I'm not sure if the pink orbs were a good choice.

The burn continues (3)...and Oregon starts getting a little craftier.

Oregon hovers in the air, but seems to flinch because he swore Scizor moved. The Bug however, stares him down, lobster like pincers wide open. Then they shut.

The cold wind blows, and Oregon suddenly goes spiraling down into the ground. Buzzing on his back, he looks over and sees Scizor hovering right there still. This bug was too fast, and that had to be rectified. Fighting gravity long enough to get airborne, the Yanmega forced a volley of air to throw Scizor back. The winded bug fell into a thicket.

Chilling, Scizor fears that this might be a big risk. It is as a second Slash ribbon cuts across his chest, courtesy of Oregon's relentless spirit in this endeavor.

Buzzing silently, the crimson fighter makes an effortless motion that sets him up right beside the ancient dragonfly. Pretty fast himself, Oregon spies the crimson beast and makes a beeline for him. They collide, Scizor's Wings slicing Oregon's Underbelly, but Oregon's tail thwacking Scizor in the head pretty good. Only the swiftest of eyes would have seen it, as it looked like they just sped past each other.

A light wind blows, and Scizor falls over, Oregon wincing from that last blow

Oregon knew that whatever came out next would have to be crippled fast, but he never even seen the new thing that skittered onto the field like a confused science project-and HE was the ancient one! No matter. Even as the spider raised its forelimbs and constructed a web out of electrons (how?)...Oregon hovered still.

In a flash, Oregon was moving backwards through the trees as the web came flying for him. He zipped down below it, barely avoiding its expanding grid like grasp. That coulda ended badly.

This was unbelievably outrageous. Oregon was godawful fast now. Joltik could barely keep up with its movements, let alone try to aim at it. But he tried, the poor soul.

And his first try was awesome! Oregon swooped in fast, flipping Joltik on his back, and forcing rocks to smash on his underbelly. Joltik pushedm them of and shook its pointy body. A second, larger web of electricity came from this, expanding around the area. That caught the speedy dragonfly and crippled his flight speed for the moment. It did help Oregon learn the limits of the canopy...

Encumbering nets of electricity were not fun ways to go. Oregon quickly got back in the sky-to Joltik's dismay. It looks like he almost teleported to different points! No matter. He wasn't going to miss. He wasn't going to miss. Even as stones slammed all over him because the bug was behind him, he wasn't going to miss.

The Thunderbolt shot through the sky, but Oregon's erratic behavior was damn near untraceable, and the bolt slammed into a bough branch.

This hyper speed bug was getting annoying. Before Joltik could even move, the area was littered in stones once again, as Oregon buzzed around, plastering Joltik with stone. There seemed to be a sheen coming from Oregon as he flew around from the stones, but Joltik finally got a break. Spraying a thin but widespread fluid skyward, Oregon flew through it and felt his speed massively drop. He still was pretty fast, but nothing like he was before.

Oregon buzzed backwards, feeling a little awkward about the whole drop i speed. Things just felt slower to him. Joltik didn't mind, now being able to fire off Thunderbolts with a greater chance of success. The first one slammed Oregon's gut and took him down to a critical point.

Oregon followed suit with a tail Slash that left Joltik on his back. Strike him with electric will ya!

Joltik smirked, even as Oregon buzzed down to the ground to try and get some sleep. A second Thunderbolt came flying in, and almost wiped the dragonfly off the map! No seriously. It ALMOST WIPED THE DRAGONFLY OFF THE MAP.

Having half of his speed still made the dragonfly faster than the electrctarantula. The effort made now was astounding, as Oregon ran forth and jumped to catch a thin gust of air to speed along. Fearlessly, Oregon slammed into Joltik as it was charging up, releasing a bevy of slashing motions that were so strong they caught rocks in their wake and those rocks landed on Joltik. Barrage over, Oregon landed for a second.

That second was bad. The Web came over him like a net, pinning him down. For good.

TBH if this had happened any other time id have been using my Speed Boost Yanmega too lol. I just got lucky the B/W event happened and i picked up Joltik.
