Vandal readies yet another claw of shadow energy, but before he can move, Misdreavus suddenly starts mumbling in her sleep, then starts making a fist-shaped energy ball. Unfortunately she runs out of energy and it only ends up a small blob wish some semblance of a fist. Even still, she charges forward and smacks Vandal with it before he can react. Fortunately for him, it doesn't do much, and he retaliates with a nice slash.

Misdreavus now relaxes, as if she had any other choice. Vandal takes the open opportunity to once again and once more create a shadowy energy claw. He slashes her again, dealing the decent damage yet again. Misdreavus wakes up from her resting finally.

Vandal lucks out and manages to move in with his third slashing energy claw of shadow, nailing Misdreavus once more. Unfortunately for Misdreavus, this causes her to lose the last shred of health she had, and she collapses to the ground.

As chaos recalls her, the red electricity surrounding Vandal sparks up again, causing him to recoil in pain from the damage. Chaos looks at this, then realizes he has to send out his last Pokémon to finish up.

I need to time these deaths better... One round either way. Oh well...

Haven't used my beedrill yet. Let's try it out. Not that he'll get much playtime...

Our plan is mostly to stay alive. We'll start off with a Substitute, then Attract. Finally, Roost back some of that hp you lost when you sub'd.

Beedrill starts off the round defensively, putting up a makeshift dummy of herself and filling it with her own health. Vandal isn't paying attention, though; he's simply focusing on the skies, and soon the sun starts shining down extra hard, heating up the arena.

Beedrill quickly focuses on Vandal and starts to dance a funky mating dance, but the sun is rather bright and her legs catch in the sand, causing her to trip. Vandal simply charges his foot with fire, which gets amplified by the sun's heat. He charges at what he thinks is Beedrill, but ends up only smacking into the Substitute. Fortunately for Vandal, though, the extra power from the sun caused the Substitute to buckle and break after one hit.

Beedrill then decides to take a rest, even though she hasn't been out for a whole round yet. She sits on the sand and recovers her health, not even needing to expend the full energy to do it. Vandal doesn't like seeing her sit around, though, and charges another solar-enhanced flaming kick which hits the real Beedrill this time.

As Vandal gets up from the last kick, the red electricity around him charges up and hurts for even more than before.

Vandal quickly rushes at Beedrill, determined to not go down without a fight. He charges his foot with fire again and slams into Beedrill before she can react. Beedrill gets knocked back a bit, but rights herself as she makes three clones that spread out a bit.

Beedrill then goes for the tricky tactic that failed last round. She makes all her clones do a little mating dance, this time not tripping, and she releases some invisible, enhanced pheromones. Vandal is entranced by the dancing, and upon smelling the pheromones becomes unreasonably attracted to the bug. As such, he doesn't feel much like hurting her with another fiery kick, and so he just sits and refuses to attack.

Beedrill uses this opportunity to recover health, so he lands and makes his damage fade away. Vandal is still looking at Beedrill with an eye of attraction, and even though he goes over to try and attack, he can't bring himself to actually hit Beedrill.

All of a sudden, the red electricity crackles around Vandal once again, dealing an enormous amount of damage. Vandal finally can't hold on any longer and collapses. Glyph recalls his final Pokémon.
