Mint doesn't want to go yet, so he quickly dives underwater to get away from Kirby. Kirby just smirks and creates a homing ball of electricity, hurling it into the ocean. Some of the power from the ball is lost in the water, but the majority of it still hits Mint. Added to the poison, Mint is really in pain now.

Mint now starts relaxing himself, building up his energy stockpile. Kirby pulls a repeat performance, and so does his ball of electricity as it hits Mint with not quite full power. Mint once again feels the poison sap his life.

Then they do it all again; Mint relaxing, Kirby launching electricity, electric ball hitting not quite full power, and poison sapping. Did I mention I dislike repetitive rounds?

Mint, not wanting to go out without a nice fight, attempts to combine all three of his moves into one giant attack. Unfortunately for him, the paralysis in his body won't let him make such a huge move, and he's forced to remain stationary as Kirby's final Shock Wave takes his remaining health away.

Mint floats to the top of the ocean, where Metallixs Girl recalls him. Kirby happily hops over to Knight of Time, ecstatic at his victory.
