Scarefest Contest!
Here we go. Final Round...hey hey Blade, where you going?
Blade: Screw this. I'm taking my AWESOME Oer and we're gonna blow this Popsicle stand!
....Really? Realy Fonz? 1970's lingo now. What next, yer gonna go to a roller skate drive thru? Huh? Gonna get yerslef a shake? Maybe a burger with a basket of fries? THen go play with a hula hoop?
Blade: That's called SONIC'S and I just might!

Anyway for everyone else, here we go!
#1) Houndoom Lover and Mephy
Faint Attack~Flamethrower~Smog~Dark Pulse~Overheat
Mephy starts off this massive ending. Mephy reaches the middle of the stage, only to evaporate instantly. However, a stream of fire appeared above the area were he disappeared, and the gaze of the crowd shot up to see Mephy rocketing skyward. The flames were strong enough to propel the pup up aways, but soon they began to taper. As the flames ended, Mephy reacehd his apex. A Smog shot through the nose of the Houndoom, and began to float in the air. Falling back to the ground, the Houndoom seemed as if he was going to crash with no attempt at breaking his fall. Right before the dog hit, a wave of heated energy left the Houndoom, and then the fiery blast erupted skyward, faded with black trails swirling all around it. The Smog caught on fire, and turned into a full out mushroom cloud, embers shooting off into the darkening sky.
Everyone watched in awe, and clapped, but some touched their faces, making sure it didn't melt off.
#2) Crazy Elf Boy and Blizzeta
Grasswhistle~Razor Leaf~Sheer Cold~Seed Bomb~Hail
Out bops Blizzeta. From the wake of the last fiery hellion appeal, he whistles over the field. The chaos subsides slightly, and everyone focuses on the now storm of eaves shooting from Blizzeta. The leaves spin and cycle upwards, until a blast of Cold speeds in so fast that the leaves freeze instantly.
These leaves, now made heavier from the ice in their veins, fall toward Blizzeta. The chubby Pokemon then spins rapidly, releasing a barrage of Seeds. They fly up and collide with the icy leaves, creating a masterful shard landscape. The shards then began to whip about, creating a Hailstorm of sorts. Waving at the audience, Blizzeta bops away.
#3) Charles and Trill (M)
Psychic~Double Team~Peck~Faint Attack~Sky Attack
Trill flies in, over the ice shards and pumpkins. Finding a fresh sport where there's relatively no damage, he swoops low and his eyes glow. Instantly waves of pumpkin mass splatters all over. Satisfied with the innards lying about, Trill lands, and a flock of Murkrow come with him! They all Peck around, eating the soft pumpkin guts. Suddenly, Trill looks up, and waves his wings as a warning. The other clones vanish, as Trill evaporates in the sky.
Shining in the sky, a glowing Trill suddenly scorches down toward the ground, smashing into the larger pumpkin to the west of where he was eating. It explodes in a huge radius, catching some of the audience. People cheer and Trill waddles off stage, covered in orange innards!
#4) Weasel Overlord and Azazel (M)
Trick Room~Endure~Double Team~Flash+Memento
Next up is Az. The ghost flew in and stared down the audience. Taking a moment to focus its energies, Az then released a blast of energy that covered the area. Everyone stared around, confused. Everything seemed normal, from the pumpkins to Azazel floating up there....but wait, why was Az shivering? He seems to be enduring something, but what?
Whoa now there's a second Az, and its lying on the ground, well it was, until that bright flash comes into play. Then the clone gets up, and the other Az falls over, as a sort of parting Memento. Then suddenly, the weird distortion felt earlier on fades away, leaving Az perfectly well. A strange turn of events, for a odd appeal, but everyone seems to like it.
#5) MLG and OzBlimp
Thief~Will-o-Wisp~Trick~Swallow~Explosion
Next out is Ozblimp. We all know he's a crafty one. And he starts off showing no mercy to the audience, as he steals someone's popcorn. The audience member cries out for it to be returned, right as Ozblimp lets off a small flare. It ignites the buttery popped kernels, now fiery kernels-and Ozblimp watches the audience carefully. In a Tricky swipe, Ozblimp floats over a female audience member and swaps her Popcorn with the flaming bag, to shouts of both amusement and fright! With the New popcorn in his grasp, its neatly swallowed. The audience member huffs, that wasn't very nice...
Pleased with his mea--err I guess he might be allergic to popcorn, cause now Ozis deflating and inflating...and inflating..and oh no he's gonna go the way of the kernals!
BOOM! Yeah...popcorn and ghostly wind everywhere in that explosion.
#6) Chaos and Lapras (F)
Double Team~Mist~Roar~Psychic~Growl
Sliding out for her finale, was Lapras. She seemed worried about something, as she then led her pod of Laprases through the path. There were a group of 5 of them. They all start to hit a rough patch of Mist, and soon only their necks can be seen. But one clone seems to go rogue and bites down on two othe the others. Lapras turns around, but its too late, as she's dragged down under the cvoer of the Mist-Roaring ..that soon turned into gurgling. People stare in horror as there seems to be no activity, albeit a thicker mist rolling in.
People then shout and point as Lapras resurfaces, covered in pumpkin guts and dirt-zombiefied-as with the rest of the pod. They all start to approach the audience, growling at the audience in that scary zombie way. People cheer and Lapras quits the act, pleased about it.
#7) Kyuuketsuki and Shinx
Attract~Charge~Magnet Rise~Substitute~Howl
Out bobbles Shinx, and everyone settles down a bit. The feeling is heightened when the little cat releases a calming yet seductive phermone in the air, Everyone watches as the cat then begins to glow. first its slight, but then it grows and grows, giving him a yellow aura thats brightest around the eyes and head. It seems the aura also gives him the power of flight, because he begins to levitate!
Hovering up, the ground suddenly now bore the weight of a substitute of the Shinx, allowing something for Shinx to stand on. Mimicing the statue's pose, Shinx howls, an eerie sound coming from a glowing beast. FInishing up, the aura fades and everyone applauds.
#8) Classy cat and Eron (F)
Cotton Spore~Fire Punch~Protect~Screech~Rain Dance
Eron hops out quietly, eying the audience as well as the massacred field. Well, may as well follow suit. She runs around the field, shedding her wooly cotton fleece everywhere. Once she was satisfied with her sporing, a fiery rage filled her right forelimb. She slammed it down and the fire spread all over the field igniting vines, cotton, pumpkin guts, you name it, it was ablaze.
The sheep then walked through the fiery landscape, untouched by the flame.The flames billowed at the protective shield, but Eron shows no fear. Those people that were not shocked felt a wave of fear and uncertainty when Eron screeched at them all, possibly signaling the arrival of their end.
Reaching the audience, a calming wind blew in and a Rain fell over the field. The flames died out and everyone smiled, before clapping feverently.
End Results
1) Houndy/Mephy: (15.2) 9.0 24.0/30
Hyper ending no joke. A nuclear cloud, very well created. Shocking, and the elements used to make the end cloud were well thought out.
2) Elf/Bliz: (15.9) 8.8 24.7/30
This was funny. Seemed low key until the Sheer Cold was thrown in. Then the barrage Seed Bomb-just chaotic everywhere, but you ended it as if it was a winter showcase. Very nice.
3) Charles/Trill: (17.5) 8.5 26/30
Thsi was unique. Acting as if a herd was feeding and then startled away, something that always happens in fields. But the attack at the end was unexpected, an evil pumpkin perhaps.
4) Weezy/Azazel: (16.9) 8.8 25.7/30
This was hard to wrap around. I realized that you were making me watch the last events of Az backwards once the Flash came into play. It really was a hard appeal to pull off, especially with a move like Memento in the mix, but you did well with it.
5) MLG/OzBlimp: (17) 9.4 26.4/30
I laughed. I'm sorry,that was a simple yet brilliant appeal. Forget audience involvement, I think some of the people might wanna take OzBlimp outside and deflate him themselves. Even ended with a bang. You can't get more tauntingly simple than that.
6) Chaos/Lapras: (16.5) 9.6 26.1/30
Man you are a scary force Chaos. I really liked this appeal. Didn't rely on explosions, but of simpler attacks to make a more creepy feel. But the Zombifiction was what threw it over the edge, it was lie watching a bad scary movie-which are awesome.
7) Kyuu/Shinx: (16.1) 7.5 23.6/30
Well now. This was a odd appeal. I guess the beginning worked well, but by the end, I lost some of that welling of fear that was attained in the beginning. Seeing a levitating cat-like animal is strange enough, but then...you canceled out the hovering with the Substitute-and then the howl was a bit..anti-climactic for me...
8) Classy/Eron: (16.7) 9 25.7/30
Eron, I give you a standing clapping. That was a great appeal for three reason. First off, setting the field on fire was a risky move-and I was curious how you were gonna get it under control, but then acting as if the flames couldn't hurt you (yeah yeha Protect, but still)-that was brilliance.
But the Rain to calm the fires, as well as close out the Contest, that's a touch that only seemed to help round out the competition, and you get props for that.
Alright! That ran a lil long.... but now its over. Our First place winner is...
