Phoenix gives herself a new lease on life, as she flaps hard and achieves lift. This aerial battle had only begun. The always smiling Woobat flaps over, ready to give her another lovejolt of electricity! But Phoenix has a better last notion, and blitzes the flying bignose. Her claws latch onto her wings, and she beats her wings all over Woobat's face. Woobat frowns, this bird was really too fast. So, when Phoenix fell back, she was struck with a fast and very powerful Charged Beam.

With Phoenix down, this brings Wolfy's total to four. But she seems unfettered. Out comes a spunky Charmander..Oh man that's mean [Rock Attack!! -18]. Stunned from that first blow, Fireheart has a rough battle ahead of him. While he tries to straighten things up, the slick and simple minded Woobat just gleefully calms down. Maybe this one is more lovey than fightie!

Naa. Fire is PISSED. He lets loose a mighty cry while surrounding the bat in a rotating column of fire. Yipe

Woobat finds this to be a bit annoying, the fire was really unrelenting. But , even trapped here, a Psychic blast from him was more than enough to sit Fire down on his rump. These hits were packing way too much of a punch, so Fire decides to pick up the pace. He lifts up rocks with an ancient Power and throws them at and all over the bat. That should have stung more, but Fire senses something's up with this bat.

Sallllright. He's just getting warmed up.

The fires were still a issue, and Woobat kept with an invisible strikes. Fire though, was a bit hyped up on speed and adrenaline and flung a Fireball of a considerable size to smack Woobat in the nose. But this bat was invulnerable. He damn near shook it off. Knowing what was going to happen, Fire braced himself, but that hit still was no easier to take.

But by the graces of castle Greyskull, it missed! It did blow away some windows to the Game Corner. Whoa!

The fires burn (4), and Woobat looks a little aggravated.

Fireheart is truly an inspiration. He charges into the think of dangers abound, fearlessly lashing out at anything that flaps. People in Mauville FINALLY take note of this epic battle and watch with bated breath as these Pokemon have at it. The Fires still rage on, and Woobat throws a Psychic attack that does not miss this time.

The Charmander grits his teeth as he's dragged across the now shards of concrete. Thrusting forth, he uses handfuls of shards to toss themsevles in the air in such a fashion that larger chunks fly up, and soon a tumultuous slide of debris falls on Woobat. The Fire spin loses power through it all..

W: -5E/-18H ~~ F: -8E/-19H

That rocky hit was pretty powerful, but the Fire Spin's strength seemed to ave been critically damaged. Great news for Woobat, who attempts to fly out. Fire is there first, and more rocks fall on Woobat, even as a Shadowball finds its way to slam the lizardback a ways.

Pinned to the base, where the fires still survive, Woobat deliriously looks up at the speedy lizard. A ton more rocks fall on Woobat, and bury him right there.

The fires peter out and Firestarter breathes heavily. That took alot out of him.

Dogfish claps, and whips out a new Pokeball. Out flies an otter with a wicked looking shell. Fireheart sneers at this 5th gen water starter, and continues his dominating performance. Oshawott is taken by surprise by the rocky demons in the area [Rock Attack!! -6], and as such is then caught by the Dragon Rage unleashed by Fire as well.

Recovering from the powerful attack, Osha counters with a powerful watery blast, thanks to a broken main line. Mauville now has a broken main line, cracked streets and damaged buildings, and the residents are wondering if this 12 on 12 might blow up their town!

Fire pushes past the pain, and unleashes a small seris fo embers to try and cripple for water type. But Osha is ready, creating a shield out of water to absorb the hit. Fire stomps, angered that was a waste of great energy!

Pleased that Fire was on edge, Oshawott waited for the fire lizard to make his next move. Fireheart didn't back down. He slammed his tail into teh jagged sidewalk, forcing some floating stones and some stationary stones to start tumbling Oshawott's way. Oshawott ran for the gushing water and dove into it. The rocks followed, and gave the water some momentum sideways. Oshawott burst out of the water, fist covered in its matrix. Uppercutting Fireheart was the end result - sending him flying quite a ways back.

Fireheart laid there, and somewhere...far away...a single clap was heard. I applaud that clapper.

Wolfy shakes her head as Fireheart falls. Down one for a good portion of this match, she knows all her choices have to be able to go all the way, and then some. Flinging out her next choice, a smooth brown furred mammal is revealed, and then is bashed by rocks.[Rock Attack!! -9] Unphazed, Rick takes to the battle agaisnt this river otter and then takes a Waterfall uppercut to the chin. Damn, two hits and he's already winded.

But Rick isn't deterred. He just got out here! A blast of electric energy waves through the air and traps Osh, leaving him paralyzed.

Osh doesn't seem too worried, even though the electricity is bothersome. He stands up and pulls his shell off his chest. It encases itself in a bubble, and he then throws it, smacking Rick in the face with it. Rick bounces back but counters with a second sparking attack. This one blasts Oshawott into a new level of pain, and leaves him sparking.

Oshawott stands back up, but falls on his rump. That wasn't cool. The paralysis crippled his legs, and left him wide open to attack. Rick wasn't playing around, as he charged up an even larger electrical surge. This one knocked Osh right on his back, volts upon volts convulsing his muscles.

Osh feels a swelling of energy in its body, but shes not too sure how to access it yet. As the otter focuses, the Zigzagoon deftly speeds in a Charge Beam to further jolt that decision making process. The paralysis that could have encumbered Osh fails to, givng Osh some much needed breathing room.

Enough to clear her throat...and lungs and other body organs in a medley of colorful plhegm. Eww. Ranger Rick is not amused. (-1)

Osh hangs back, waiting for what might come her way. Hanging back wasn't a good idea, as she was caught off guard by the howling Rick, and the grasses that heeded his call. Osh tried to break away, but found her limbs tightly woven around. Pulled to the ground, it took that swelling of energy to finally burst free, and Osh thrust herself into Rick with a devastating headbutt. (-1)

Osh forced her body up, but Ranger Rick was tired of this disrespectful animal messing up this poor city. A final Thunderbolt shot to and through the mammal. (-1)

Osh looked at her shell where it hit, only to see it crack. That's...not how its supposed to happen, though she was glad it cracked on her tummy . She fainted from the shock.

Wow We've come a long way. People have once again come to see that strangely long fight between these two competitors. Each have had their ups and down this match, and there's till a while to go! Boltair is summoned, and as soon as the flying squirrel glides to the scene, he's met with a ton of flying debris. Ow. [Rock attack!! -12] Snickering at his misfortune,Rick runs over to the dazed squirrel and spits on him, adding further misery to company.(-1/-2)

Bolt is a little stunned, what the heck just happened? But that does not matter now. A little juke to the left and shake to the right and he's airbone once again, this time with a better idea of what's what.

Boltair, now having the tactical advantage of speed, zips around and takes pock shots at Rick. Rick jumps left and right, avoiding his sweeping spikes. Boltair however, flicks a ball of electricity from his tail going one direction. Rick pays some attention to it, but then back flips to avoid another sweeping pass by Bolt. Hastily, he slathers himself in some nearby dirt, and that saves him from the incoming sphere he forgot about. (-1/-2)

Foiled twice by this striped menace, Boltair turns up the pressure. Ranger Rick tries for an Ice Beam. Boltair swoops low as the wiry beast prepares to fire and slams him with a closer range Thunderbolt. This throws Rick back and his aim points down. Boltair freaks as the Ice Beam slams him out of the sky. (-1/-2)

Rick recovers first, having that mud saved his butt a little.

Now that Bolt figured out what this little rodent could do, maybe it could try to use its own power against it. A electric based shield went up, but the color matrix started to shift through the rainbow. Good timing, as a chilling snap of wind ripped though Mauville-at the behest of Rick.(-2/-3)

B: -10E ~~ RR: -9E

Nope. Not falling for that one! Rick grunted as the shielded Pokemon sped out of the Blizzard aftermath and swoped for him again. Rick jumped to the side, but unlike all the other times, Boltair made sure to loop around him twice! The second sweep had a nasty slice of air with it that tripped Rick up. (-2/-3)

Rick landed on his back, but from this position, he spied Boltair speed over him. Rick spun to his feet and lunged, reaching high enough to bite on Boltair's tail! Boltair was yanked back into a flurry of wriggling fur and claws and fangs.

Rick still held on and Boltair felt a tingling in his side. Quick as a flying squirrel could, he divebombed for the nearest object-that being a grove of trees. on the outskirts of town-headed toward the sea route. Rick held on, until the bark rushed up on his fast and he was snagged in a tight grove of branches., Rick turned, but only saw a flash of greyish back collide with him, and down fell the Zigzagoon, all the way to the ground.(-2/-3) Boltair sailed to the ground a few feet away, his tail twitching from that powerful blow.

Well, Rick wasn't done for, as previously thought. That powerful little bugger got to his feet and skittered left and right. Boltair watched carefully, but not fast enough, as Rick shot off an Ice Beam mid-balancing act. Boltair tried to fly away to evade, but landing caused him some much needed lift. The force of the Beam sent him sprawling backwards

Rick stood up wobbly, knowing this was going to be a big-defining moment. Least, he wanted it to be. The flying squirrel speeds by and flaps its faux wings and blasts out a wave of air that shuts the rodent down before it can even get a thought off.

And Wolfy quickly flings her next Poke ball out. As its contents pour out of digitized form, Bolt sees trouble ahead. The pointy rocks fly into this small beast's side, but they seem to be nothing she can't handle [Rock Attack!! -9]. Her chrome dome glints in the light of the electric city, and Riley gives off a confident shout as she forces more rocks to fly around DF's side of the ring. (finally..). Bolt hacks a tad, before(-4) clapping and waving for Riley to do more...because that was AWESOME!

B: -2E ~~ R: -3E Enc'.

Bolt flies in close as Riley tries to kick up more rocks. However, that power of hers seems to have been maxed out at the last go round. A second coughing spree precedes Boltair landing on her back and tickling Riley. Awww so cute!(-4)

Boltair jumps off of her back as Riley bucks around for a bit. Tickling always ended badly. This was no different. As the chuckles started to fade, it was replaced with a powerful electric surge, jolting Riley across the scarred earth and into the side of the home to the farthest east of Mauvuille.(-4)

Boltair takes to the air to see a better vantage point, as Riley hops up.

No goo. An Ice Beam came in a arcing path and Boltair's first wave of action was to evade-but the beam came with shocking speed!

Boltair fell from the skies, landing with a soft splat.

Riley stands tall...well as tall as a Cranidos can stand. Dogfish realizes he has to make a stand now, and releases his own resurrected fossil. This one is also studded with rock, in a shell like formation. Doesn't stop the rocks from attacking poor Tir. [Rock Attack!! -9] Tor shakes off the intrusive blow, and receives a plentiful splashing of toxic phlegm. (-1)

Tir grunts and pushes his flippers under him to prop himself up. This allows him to aim and fire a massive blast of water that slaps Riley in the chest!

T: -9E Txc lvl 1~~ R: -3E/-14H*

Not pleased that rocks came out of nowhere to attack him-AND he was spat on, Tir pushes himself forward, with an eye for complete decimation of his foe. Steam began to ebb from his mouth, and when he was within range, he let out a boiling blast of water. Riley stood up from the chiling blast, only to jump and run backwards from the superheated water. His rocky skin saved him from a burn...for now. (-1)

Riley retaliated with a magnificent display of electricity. It rained down toward Riley, but he was able to redirect it to fry Tirtouga through. Any resistance Tirtouga thought he may have had was shattered when fighting Riley.

Tir wasn't done yet however. Another welling of water could be seem from the east, coming in a high arc right for the unsuspecting Riley. In one faithful strike, Riley was thrust foreward from the backwards striking blast. Riley's flight path however, was exactly what he wanted, as he collided with Tir! Using the water's propulsion, his dome head made for a nice strong battering ram of endeavoring energy to try and even this match out. (-1)

Right on the edge of eastern Mauville, this prehistoric battle takes it up a notch. Riley runs forward, ready to bash Tirtouga back into the Stone age. Lightning comes down and shoots in front of the charging Pokemon, slamming into the waiting prehistoric leatherback with astounding force. Tirtouga goes bouncing back into town, and Riley follows, roaring. (-2)

But a showering of sparking water strikes Riley and stops her in her tracks. The heck was that? Didn't matter, it was a little TOO powerful!

T: -4E/-13H* ~~ R: -3E/-20H

Tirtouga took the opportunity to start calling to the sky for help. Ooooh no!(-2) As the turtle shouted to the heavens, the ground erupted under him, sending him flying straight up. Riley laughed that her own ingenuity

But when the sky opened up over Mauville, Riley knew this wasn't going to end well.

T: -4E/-14H Rain: 7 act.~~ R: -8E

Sensing Riley was up to something, Tir followed up with a second Brine. This one was more powerful than Riley thought possible, as it knocked her on her rear and left her dazed. She lied there prone, leading Tirtouga to think he finally topped her.

With only scrapes of energy left, Riley stod up and roared, a sound Tirtouga did NOT want to hear.(-2) Nor the earth rumbling as it was-as a new Earthquake shook Mauville for a few moments. When it passed, Tirtouga looked about as bad as Riley did, both breathing heavy in the rain.
