Go to use Taunt, and if it goes to close it's eyes and not listen use Toxic instead whilst it's a sitting duck. Keep using Taunt until it works, using the same strategy as with Toxic where if it won't listen use the other move specified.

    Taunt/ Toxic ~ Taunt/ Grass Knot ~ Taunt/ Grass Knot

Well first, we are going to cover our ears and close our eyes again. This dude aint got nuthin on you. Use Double Team quickly after u block ur sight and hearing, so the Toxic doesnt hit. Use another Double Team after that, and once all that is done, continue with Toxic.

    To aid with point division.

Since its segmented 1 v 1, each battle counts as its own.

Some Gyms here utilize this method, it gives them more points in the long run, at the expense of possibly losing it all in one battle. High risk, high reward.

Winners for each 1v1 get their 2 points, -and whomever wins 3 first wins . Ref gets points equivalent to 5 v 5.

    ‡ Pre-Round ‡

    ‡ Round 24 ‡

Now that the battlefield is once again alight, the battlers revert to their favourite pastime: Taunt wars! Yami starts out with a Taunt but only gets out the words “You’re a gigantic piece of—” before T-Bone once again blocks the insult with his fingers in his ears. He the cuts the verbal assault short and instead spews out a glob of Toxic. However, as the gunk whistles through the air, the mighty Tyranitar does a spin on the spot and invites a few clone friends to help him out. They are promptly destroyed by the Sandstorm, however, and the Toxic consequentially strikes with success.

T-Bone balls up his hands into fists by his side and lets out a string of scandalous swear words. Foiled by his own ability.

    Yami: <-5 EP>
    T-Bone: <-4 EP; Txc>

Yami smirks and notices T-Bone’s arms are no longer blocking his ears. Quickly returning to Taunt mode, he informs T-Bone that the last word of her previous insult was supposed to be stupid. T-Bone gasps. A gigantic piece of stupid? No! No, it just can’t be true! Enraged, he lashes out with a minor physical swipe made slightly strong by his own bolstered Attack and his foe’s ailing Defence.

    Yami: <-8 HP; -4 EP>
    T-Bone: <-2 EP; Tnt>

Yami closes his eyes and becomes one with the earth beneath his feet. He summons tiny tendrils knotted beneath the soil to spring up and wrap themselves around T-Bone’s limbs. He tries to resist, but the shoots then retract and yank T-Bone down to the ground with sudden force. He pulls himself up and, still enraged, lashes out at Yami with another simple strike.

    Yami: <-8 HP; -5 EP>
    T-Bone: <-18 HP; -2 EP>

As the motes of sand whip away at Yami <-3 HP>, T-Bone suffers the first bite from that nasty Toxic attack <-3 HP>. All of a sudden, humming can be heard as Cresselia’s Future Sight materializes. None of the Pokemon on the field are vulnerable to the attack, but the sheer strength of the Psychic attack decimates the rocky formations on the edge of the field. The large rocks tumble through the air before colliding with both Yami <-10 HP> and T-Bone <-10 HP>.

Darkrai lashes out at Cresselia with a massive beam of Dark-type energy. She’s temporarily incapacitated and, as such, the field goes dark again.

Use Earthquake, then Shock Wave, then Earthquake. That way your moves are spread out pretty wide.

Use the vibrations from Earthquake to pinpoint T-Bone's location, and use Grass Knot again. Night Burst once you have an idea of it's location, and finish with an earthquake pin-pointed Focus Blast.

Grass Knot ~ Night Burst ~ Focus Blast

    ‡ Pre-Round ‡

    ‡ Round 25 ‡

Now plunged in total darkness, Yami and T-Bone realize luck will once again have to be on their side to prevail. T-Bone raises a leg and slams it down, hoping the cover the entire field in tremors. However, Darkrai’s influence over the field causes the tremors to strike in a direct path rather than consuming the whole of the arena and, fortunately for Yami, they miss him entirely. Not having suffered the effects of the Earthquake, though, he finds it difficult trying to use them as a reference to identify T-Bone’s location. Yami takes a blind guess and summons a Grass Knot where he thinks T-Bone might be. The Zoroark then cups his ear and listens, hoping to hear the sound of a heavy fall. It comes. The shoots grab hold of T-Bone and tug him down to the ground.

    Yami: <-7 EP>
    T-Bone: <-18 HP; -8 EP>

T-Bone now pulls himself up and fires off a Shock Wave, sure that this will hit. Right? The electricity sparkles across the field and, impossibly, it strikes a rock and fizzles out. The Tyranitar stomps his foot in indignation. Yeah, this definitely isn’t normal darkness. Yami points his arms at the source of that electrical discharge and cuts loose with a powerful Night Burst. However, her estimation is off: the Dark-type attack misses by a hair. T-Bone breathes a sigh of relief.

    Yami: <-7 EP>
    T-Bone: <-4 EP>

Still facing T-Bone, Yami charges up a Focus Blast and prepares to fire it off right where he unleashes that Night Burst. However, another Earthquake slams across the field and this time it manages to strike Yami with pinpoint precision. T-Bone lets out a huff. About friggin’ time! The Zoroark is thrown and accidentally lets go of that Focus Blast midair, sending it way off-course.

    Yami: <-18 HP; -10 EP>
    T-Bone: <-8 EP>

The sand continues to scratch away at Yami <-3 HP> as T-Bone’s Toxic poisoning mounts in strength <-5 HP>. Suddenly, as Cresselia rises again, light consumes the field. However, the Legendary Pokemon look weak and, in unison, they both decide to go for broke. They ram at each other at colossal speeds and a blinding flash is let off as their Giga Tackles collide.

When the light goes dim, the bodies of Darkrai and Cresselia land, unmoving. They’re done. Suddenly, their bodies give off a restorative aura which Yami <+15 HP> and T-Bone <+15 HP> gladly suck in.

    ‡ Post-Round ‡

    Notes:

    > Lol, Earthquake and Shock Wave missing are definitely weird but, after all, that was explained in the field's introduction. Nonetheless, it doesn't matter anymore: since Darkrai and Cresselia knocked each other out, the rest of the battle will play out without any additional effects.

Yami, no mercy. Hold the dark type dino in place with Grass Knot, and hit him with a full powered Focus Blast. Finish off with Low Sweep to send the guy flying. If he attempts to get out of the Grass Knot + Focus Blast combo through something or other, use Sucker Punch and Grass Knot instead.

Grass Knot + Focus Blast ~ Low Sweep

Uhm Protect yourself with.. Protect until that Combo thing is done. Now before they go for the Low Sweep, Hop up into the air and use Aerial Ace! No Low Sweep for you! And since you have no more moves, Focus Punch. Them. Hard.

    ‡ Pre-Round ‡

    ‡ Round 26 ‡

In the wake of Darkrai and Cresselia’s epic battle, Yami and T-Bone peer at one another stoically. No more dark and light hurky-durky—just a good, old-fashioned Pokemon battle. Yami begins by summoning shoots to peek up through the soil. However, as they begin to wrap themselves around T-Bone’s ankles, the Tyrannitar summons a bulky brown energy barrier. The shoots then ease their grip on T-Bone and quickly dart back into the soil. Seeing this, Yami alternates her command and goes for a Sucker Punch instead.

Nothing happens. Yami blinks. Um, alrighty then?

    Yami: <-6 EP>
    T-Bone: <-8 EP>

Yami doesn’t really get what happened there, but nonetheless keeps the assault going. She once again summons tendrils to attack poor T-Bone, who really doesn’t care much for Grass Knots. T-Bone, who is presently on the lookout for a Low Sweep to avoid, spots the return of the tendrils as the wriggle up through the rocky earth and freaks. Quickly, he leaps into the air to avoid them and does an aerial spin, landing hard upon Yami. He pins the Zoroark beneath his bulk and laughs mockingly.

    Yami: <-14 HP; -7 EP>
    T-Bone: <-4 EP>

Closing his eyes, T-Bone begins honing his focus. Er, does this really seem like the time, bud? Spotting his opponent’s moment of weakness, Yami twists his body in one swift motion and effortlessly trips the mighty Tyranitar. He goes slamming down to the ground below and lets out a mournful wail. Yami hops back to his feet and seems to have gotten the last laugh for now. Consider that Focus Punch derailed.

    Yami: <-4 EP>
    T-Bone: <-12 HP; -1 Spd>

The Sandstorm scratches away at Yami <-3 HP> as T-Bone winces from the increased might of his status <-7 HP>.

Let it charge it's Focus Blast, and trip it over at the last second before it fires with Grass Knot. Do it each time, but be sure to leave enough time before it fires.

    Grass Knot x3

    ‡ Pre-Round ‡

    ‡ Round 27 ‡

It’s come down to this. Yami and T-Bone peer at one another without betraying a hint of emotion as they prepare to exchange their final set of attacks. The latter presses his palms together and begins to generate a red halo of energy around them as he charges up a perilous Focus Blast. Ready for this, Yami demonstrates exceptional timing as he commands tendrils to worm their way up through the earth and latch onto the mighty Tyranitar. At the last moment, just as T-Bone gears up to cut loose with the Focus Blast, the shoots give a sharp tug and T-Bone is yanked down to the ground. However, because of his superior Accuracy, T-Bone is still able to aim the Focus Blast even as he’s falling. His attack connects with Yami just as he hits the ground, blasting the Zoroark off his feet as well.

The battlers exchange fierce growls as they get back up to their feet. It’s on.

    Yami: <-18 HP; -7 EP>
    T-Bone: <-18 HP; -10 EP>

Despite the fact that Yami is faster than that big hunk of rock known as T-Bone, he nonetheless holds himself steady as he waits for his opponent’s next attack. Once again, T-Bone charges up another powerful ranged attack as Yami commands shoots to poke up through the earth and immure the heavier Pokemon’s legs. Just as T-Bone is about to deliver the strike, the Grass Knot tugs him down to the ground, but he once again manages to cut loose with his pulsating beam of light mid-fall. The Focus Blast decimates Yami just as T-Bone hits the ground.

Their eyes flicker shut in unison as both Pokemon are defeated.

    Yami: <-13 HP; -5 EP; -1 HP from fatigue>
    T-Bone: <-7 HP; -10 EP>

    ‡ Post-Round ‡

And with that, you have both successfully killed one another. Good work. Your victories net you two points apiece and you also receive a point for each of your losses and a point for having tied this last one. Thus, seven points each. A perfect tie. I get ten for having reffed.

    Aaaaand...

    That's all!
