An EV training question.

If say, i have a pokemon holding Macho Brace, and another pokemon in the party holding Exp. Share, does the pokemon holding exp share get the EXACT same EVs as the battling pokemon? Or is the EV shared between the two?


Example
Lapras holds Macho Brace, while Metagross holds Exp. Share. Lapras kills a pokemon and gains +4 EV

NOW, does Lapras AND Metagross get 4 EV each or is the 4 distributed 50/50?

Lapras will get double the Amount of EV's naturally got. Let me put this example up for you.

You're battling a....Geodude. It naturally gives you one EV in Defense.

Lapras comes out. Since Lapras is wearing the Macho Brace (which Doubles EV 's for teh wearer)-its gonna get 2 EV's in Defense. Metagross is wearing the EXP share and thus will get the NATURAL number of EV's -i.e 1 EV in Defense

he power items give the wearer 4 points more in a specific stat.

Let's try the Power Anklet. It gives the wearer +4 in Speed after every battle. So if you fought said Geodude, you would gt 1 Def EV and 4 Speed Ev's
