Wow, one of the last sites I'd expect to pull an April Fool's prank did it.

Wikipedia's featured article for today is the Museum of Bad Art (which is apparently real), but the joke is in its description on the main page.

The Museum of Bad Art (MOBA) is a world-renowned institution dedicated to showcasing the finest art acquired from Boston-area refuse. The museum started in a pile of trash in 1994, in a serendipitous moment when an antiques dealer came across a painting of astonishing power and compositional incompetence that had been tragically discarded. Its magnetic pull was immediate; it has since inspired a collection of 500 masterful pieces of art so awful they prompt viewers to appeal loudly for divine intervention. Located next to two Massachusetts bathrooms, the museum's collection aspires to be a monument to creative ecstasy that has resulted in glorious failure. Only the most arresting paintings and sculptures are accepted by MOBA, but priority goes to those that prominently feature a monkey or a poodle. Well since my Aprils Fool's day is over and have not yet done a single trick on anyone (yes I know its a complete waste of a day but I had better things to do) It seems that TPM for today has turned into a midday soap opera with people leaving, people being forced to leave. All we need now is a marriage and a death then we qualify as a contender for Home and Away.

Yeah Id have to say that as an april fools "joke" this whole fiasco is in poor taste. Theres a lot funnier things to do without whipping up a lot of drama and hurting other people in the name of a "joke". If Id had a month to plan something it would have been a lot funnier and it would be something everyone can have a laugh at. IMO drama =/= funny.

I woke up at 5:40 AM Finland Daylight Saving time
I went to Mielikkitalo
I watched Youtube
I went to The Pokemasters and was shocked by Lady Vulpix and others
I saved some threads on a memory stick
I logged out and read the threads in the living-room
I visited TPM a few times again and also complained to my RL friends about the prank
I went to Kuntoutuskoti
I was delighted to notrice I didn't have to go to buy the food
I cleaned up the sauna
I ate lasagne
I visited Mielikkitalo and TPM
I went back to Kuntoutuskoti
I went shopping with a friend
I bought Red Alert III for Playstation 3 with him
I had my hair cut
I went to Mielikkitalo and TPM
I went to sauna
I played bingo
I went to Kuntoutuskoti
I played some Red Alert III
I went home
I went sleep

I spent my April Fool's Day with my girlfriend, and about forty minutes waiting in another room while she spent time at her grandmother's viewing.
I spent April 2nd at her grandmother's funeral.
Then I tried to send a message and Optus claims that I went through $76 credit in the course of one day.

And today I come back and I find that everyone is all madsocks.

And for this I am sorry.
