You are getting annoyed. Why is this sound growing-yet no structure is seen? Falconzord-against his better intuition, goes flying up more, and you finally get a great big whiff of fresh air.

Fresh air? You've been in this stagnant cave system for hours no--O crap. Falconzord breaks horizon point and you all level out to see a horrific sight.

The ocean reef is flooding with water from all entry points. The storm must have ended and the displaced seawater is filling up ..fast. That's why there were so many Corsola from below. The rumbling is now heading toward you...and will spill over soon enough!

What do you do?

The great escape is on. You recall Caucus as Falconzord falls backwards. You hold on, and Falcon tucks in his wings. falling like a bullet. The water...falls over the edge finally, first as a thin sheet but then as a massive tidal wave. Falcon banks out and zips low heading toward Corsola Valley. You quick spy two options. One is a low lying cave that has lighter colored water, the other is a high cavern with some streaks of light poking out.

What do you do?

Smack turns to look at you. You look back at Smack.

*Doof* Snowball to the back of your head. Smack points to a ridge to the east. A crackling is heard , and a Thunderbolt sears forth. It explodes on the dune, and black shapes spring out. You catch sight of 5 Sneasel, who quickly throw a few more snowballs at you and laugh about it.

You tel Falcon up, and he opens his wings wide, catching a shallow gust that gives him enough lift so he can flap. The Corsola all shift in anxiety as the first of the deluge hits them and throws them about. You now realize why all these caverns are so wet.

They all used to be underwater. That was some storm! In any event, Falcon reaches the alcove and speeds in. Its a thin tunnel and Falcon gives it his all, but soon he ends up landing and running on foot for a few feet. Its just too narrow to fly. You see holes where sunlight could come through.

A good mile down-there's an opening bathed in light? An exit maybe?

Oh man speed flight!

You hop off and switch it up, releasing Fen and Caucus who....stay by your side. Fenrir walks ahead and Caucus behind so you aren't jumped. The water now has stopped making that horrible crashing sound and now it just sounds like the flood gates are truly opening. You probably don't have much time.

You hurry down the corridor, noting how skinny its getting. The light seems to be getting larger, but you also hear wind and water. You note a even skinnier passageway down the left, and Caucus peers into it for a moment.

As Caucus leaves...something peers back..

What do you do?

Caucus, make your investigations fast, because we don't have a lot of time here. Fenrir, keep going towards the light and keep me posted on what's over there with your psychic abilities.

You snap your fingers and give Caucus a stern look. The small plantfighter jumps for joy-he gets to be awesome! He dashes into the darkness while Fenrir covers the rest of the distance much faster than you have been able to. You watch the blue circles until Caucus comes screeching out that orifice-soaking wet! He bolts past you, and then you hear-and see-water burst out that vein!

Its coming in from this way as well!!

Time to bolt as fast as we can. When we get to the light out there, I'll release Falconzord and we'll fly away again!

RUN!

You hightail it, moving though the thinning passage as much as possible Caucus helps by punching through a few really narrow sections, and you both reach Fenrir in about 6 minutes time. The water's right on your tail and you quit thinking rationally., You leap off the ledge, and release Falconzord.. Whom you land on. The Bird floats for a moment as you recall Caucus and Fenrir before the water engulfs them. The water surges forth and Falcon flies up in this new wider chamber, and you both see an opening to the west. Water is filling in from everywhere, below, to the sides...why not that one?

Onward and upward you soar! Bewlow your hear cries, and see white shape splashing into the water. Seel? They're jumping into this pool from above? No...they're swimming under! You pay it no mind and Falconzord dips through the hole. You go through a narrow series of twists and turns before barreling forth into a bright light....

and suddenly Falconzord is skimming over open ocean!! The water is so close you can reach over and touch it! You look back, but all you see is seawater and a small series of rocks...where you suspect the bluffs were...

Onward and with hastened speed, as the first signs of a Hailstorm are on the way. Tearo dodges the first rogue pieces but soon they will fall down with no mercy. Tearo can clearly see the brown shape, and you begin to make out features. Its large...kinda husky build. Looks like an Ursaring, but why hasn't it moved? You near it and Tearo banks lower, slowing down to make sure it doesn't lunge at you two with some Hyper Beam or some crap.

Falconzord heads back, causing a nice spray of water to splash all over you. In a few moments, you land on one of the larger outcroppings. Dismounting, you sit and look at the small underwater caves. You look left and see a coastline. Its thin. And it goes on for miles in both directions

You walk within 35 yards of the bear, and Smack tries talking to it. The bear stares off into space. Hailstone hits it kinda hard. Another hits it and then you see it.

Its not a Ursaring. Its a statue of an Ursaring, that's been frozen over, and its breaking. Hrm...could this mean there are bears about? But its the dead of winter here.

You speed over, jumping into a run off of FalconZord. You trot over to the hut and run up the ramp. Spinning as you reach the bend, you see the door is wide open. You per in, and see a cot and a shelf over the cot, with some jugs.

On the windowsill is a dead plant, and next to it, a Trapinch, just sleeping there. There is also a small stand with a note on it, and some fishing maps on a wall.

And then it disappeared.

Finally, a lead! You and Falconzord walk alongside the prints. They are human, at least...for a while. Soon, as you start to leave the coastline, they start changing. THey get longer, and start to spread out, as if the person was running.

Then they thin, and the space between them gets longer. You follow after them until you note no more impressions. But by then...you're in the middle of a shallow valley. You can still hear the waves...
