    Round TWO HUNDRED EIGHT
You have a quiet laugh and check inside the warehouse buildings. There doesn't seem to be a lot going on in there though: a few old computers, empty cages... oh, and him--

    He's not conscious, though...

    ROUND ONE
Teleportation, while certainly convenient, is perhaps not the best way to travel. You keep yourself cool and nearly throw up before calling out your three pokemon: Triaglav, Airship, and Atlas. They too are looking a bit rattled from the sudden jump.

You survey the area around you, hoping to find some information on one of the legendary dragons. Unfortunately, before you even try to step forward, you are halted by one of the two guards at the front:

"Can't allow you to enter the city limits," he says to you, perhaps mentally, "we've got a situation brewing over here and it'd be best of you to leave."

    What's your next move, Chaos?

    Protest.
    Listen and leave.
Run for it! What can he do?

    ROUND TWO
You try to reason with the alakazam, but he is unrelenting in his unwillingness to let you through.

    ROUND FOUR
Having enough of this rude psychic's attitude, you decide to try him and move on past. However, before you can even reach the gate that surrounds the city, you hear a faint chuckling sound coming from Alakazam. Probably the loudest he's ever been.

By the way Grey my Donphan's name is Triglav, no "a" in between

I don't want any problems from you. I'm just trying to get in and find some info about Zekrom. But if you keep getting in my way then I'll have to subdue you

    ROUND FIVE
You state your case, but Alakazam wants nothing of it.

"Listen, Trainer, I don't care how powerful you think you are, but the situation inside is far too dangerous for me to let any human being inside. If you're trying to find information on Zekrom or whathaveyou, you should consider looking elsewhere -- I hear the Old Village has a library..."

    ROUND SIX
In an effort to make matters better, you thank Alakazam for his time and recall your non-flying team members, Triglav and Atlas. Airship balloons up his body, and you wrap his tassle-like arms around your stomache as he lifts you high into the air.

It takes a little over an hour, but you finally reach your destination: the Old Village. Airship releases his grip on you, and nearly peters to the floor. That trip really did a number on him.

As you contemplate your next move, you see a few derelict buildings littering the sidewalks, as well as a few archaic and unused coaches. You spot a pair of pokemon running around, probably getting into trouble:

This is the old location of the village before the battling league moved the village a mile east. In this ancient test of time, among old buildings and disused shops you will find a variety of city Pokemon living in solitude. Rumor has it there are secrets underneath the village.

    ROUND SEVEN
Like a creeper, you approach the children and ask them if they know where the library is. They blink their eyes for a few seconds, but ultimately realize that you probably mean them no harm.

"It's over in the Residential District," Elekid replies, pointing you towards a roadway between two decrepit buildings, "but there aren't many pokemon or, I guess, people there anymore."

You nod, and thank the pokemon for their time and they run off like the children they are.

    ROUND EIGHT
You take a beak and allow Airship to regain the energy lost by flying you all the way here, deciding that when he's ready, you'll head into the Residential District to locate the library.

However, as you're resting, you spot something fairly unusual a few meters away:

As Airship finally regains his lost energy, you decide to approach the curious-looking leafeon. However, as you slowly come closer to her, she gets frazzled and darts away between two buildings.

She's not moving too fast, though, so she'll be easy to track down.

    ROUND TEN
And just like that, you give chase! Airship moans and whines about how he just recovered to full strength, but ultimately tags along respectfully. The two of you duck between the two buildings Leafeon had just ducked between, but the straight ahead path bears no leafeon.

    Curious.

The area between the buildings extends into an alleyway splitting into two separate paths -- left and right.

    ROUND ELEVEN
Not one to leave it up to chance, you remove a poke ball from its belt and call forth Triglav from within. The bulky donphan stamps his feet into the ground and immediately puts his trunk to the floor to help locate the leafeon. Unfortunately, because he's uncertain of what she smells like, her peculiar scent gets lost in the sea of them within the village.

Airship, meanwhile, has re-inflated and shot himself high into the air, giving himself a great view of everything below. After a few seconds up in the air, he returns to your side and points to the leftmost path.

    ROUND TWELVE
Airship returns to the skies to give you an aerial view of the abandoned city as you and Triglav search the left path. A series of grimey trash bins litters the pavement as you cautiously walk about. As you're walking, you can feel a few eyes watching you, but looking around for them doesn't seem to help.

With great luck, you find Leafeon -- she seems to be staring at you from a window in a warehouse building.

    ROUND THIRTEEN
You point your poke ball to the sky and swiftly return Airship to it before curiously looking around the warehouse for a door. After a few minutes of looking about, you find the entrance (the door seems to've been blown off; weird). You think little of it and enter the building.

Inside the warehouse is a virtual labyrinth of boxes and unused machinery. Seems very dangerous, ultimately, but you press on, eager to confront Leafeon.

You look around for a few more minutes before hearing a yelping sound from Triglav. He seems to've been pelted with some sort of liquid! What's going on!?

You summon Atlas who immediately peers around the warehouse building to hopefully get some insight as to who or what is attacking.

After a few seconds of scanning, he comes across this:

    THE ARTIST
Ryo Yamazaki - Blinded By Light

Just as he locates the crafty beagle, however, he gets pelted by a series of wind blades, throwing him to the ground quite easily.

Why are you attacking us, what have we done to disturb you?

You call out the smeargle, but he ignores it in favor of more attacking. Another blade of air is shot forward, aimed at you! However, before the blade can strike, Triglav rolls into it, absorbing the hit and taking little damage from it.

Looks like you're going to hafta reason with him through attacks.

Atlas try to climb on Triglav, and try to Bounce both of you to where the Smeargle is. Then Triglav, Body Slam to try and pin him down with your weight and Atlas use Submission to also try and hold him down.

If the Bounce doesn't work, Triglav roll up into a ball and Atlas can Fling you to where the Smeargle is, so you can follow through with your Body Slam

Annoyed by this dog's behaviour, you call for a teamup as Triglav curls up into a ball once more long enough for Atlas to fling him high into the air. The donphan lets out a loud snort as it finally lands on the high rafters where the artist pokemon had been staging his attack.

Smeargle turns his gaze away from you to face his oncoming threat, and fires out a flurry of blue water attacks with his tail. Triglav manages to dodge the first wave, but gets pelted by the second two before body slamming the smaller pokemon.

Smeargle frees himself from Tri's girth and leaps to the warehouse floor, giving Atlas a nice target. Atlas charges forward and collides with The Artist, sending him into a wall fiercely.

Triglav, use Defense Curl + Rollout to jump back down safely and hit the Smeargle once again. Atlas, use a Dynamic Punch to hopefully confuse him and then we'll see if he cries uncle or not

You call out to Triglav, but he seems paralyzed by his (apparent) fear of heights, and can't seem to get back down to the ground. Atlas rolls his eyes, and throws his fist into the collapsed beagle to deal even more damage. He attempts to pull of the maneuver once more, but his body becomes frozen stiff -- unmoving.

    Now what!?

    Uh..what indeed

I guess I'll send out Airship to try and carry Triglav down and then walk over to the Smeargle to find out why he attacked us

As Smeargle's motions become labored and, well, confusing, you reach out for Airship's poke ball. However, just like Atlas, your body becomes frozen stiff by some unseen force. As you struggle to break free, you hear something in your head--

You are unwelcome here, Son of Z.

Son of Z? What does that mean!?

Attempts to break free from this grip prove fruitless, but you spot from the corner or your eye your donphan charging off the platform and into the ground, knocking into something (or perhaps, someone). You hear a disgruntled moan, and your paralysis (along with Atlas') is relieved!

You both turn to face your attacker:

HE WHO STANDS BEHIND THE CURTAIN
Ryo Yamazaki - Defiers of Fate

Adding more fuel to the fire is the fact that Smeargle's confusion seems to have ended. Great... now there's two pokemon out for your blood.

Why are you both attacking us? We're not here to stir up trouble. And why did you call me the Son of Z?

You start demanding answers out of the slowbro, but he ignores your voice in favor of disabling your body. Smeargle, meanwhile, splotches his tail into his pallet twice (in a red paint), creating a vortex of flames that easily envelop Atlas.

However, while Atlas and you are being dealt with, no one's got eyes on Triglav, who continues his rollout and collides with Slowbro, knocking him out of his hold on you and giving you enough time to reach for your last poke ball, summoning Airship!

The battle instantly becomes in your favor. Hot damn!

I try to call a truce once more to see if they will listen to me

If not, Triglav, try Body Slaming onto Smeargle to pin him down, while Atlas uses a Submission to also hold Slowking down. Airship does a double Hypnosis to put them to sleep so we can try and regain some valuable time to rethink our strategy.
