Round TWO HUNDRED ONE

You make no reservations for the squad of four as Krok and Umbreon create a nice diversion with a sandstorm. While the sand is coarse and blinding for Umbreon, Smeargle, and you, you still make haste.

You take aim at the large grass pokemon whilst your team battles the other three. You squeeze the trigger, firing off a blast of paint that splashes against Alexander's brow, knocking him out cold.

The three others stop what they're doing and glare at you, realizing what you have--

Round TWO HUNDRED TWO

The mind-washed pokemon drive towards you, attempting to retrieve the weapon from you. As they charge, Umbreon summons a dark barrier to surround everyone within a few feet.

Tangrowth manages to swipe the ray gun away from you with her tendrils, but loses it once Krok hits her with an embargo. You dive down to recover it before firing it off into her face. Her mind goes soft for a second before she slumps down. Crobat manages to swoop down and snatch the gun away from you as well! Curses! But Krok's not gonna let him break away, and uses a combination of pursuit and embargo to make her drop it. Upon hitting the ground, the ray gun fires off another glob of paint, hitting her.

The only one left is Gulpin, who stands a good three feet away from the gun, and he is hungry.

Alexander and Smeargle, meanwhile, are safe inside the cage.

Round TWO HUNDRED THREE

Umbreon swiftly hotsteps it to the ray gun, using a combination of his swift speed and telekinesis to keep it out of Gulpin's hungry grasp. Immediately after, Umbreon flings the gun back to your hands, and you swiftly fire one last blast at the pokemon, leaving you un-adversed.

The three pokemon lay upon the ground, still quite unconscious. Alexander, meanwhile, seems to be coming to.

Alexander's eyes slowly open up as Smeargle erases the cage around the both of them. Your grass pokémon scans around the area until his eyes fixate on you -- you! Yes, it's you! He shows signs of excitement before jumping over to you and squeezing you tight.

Glad to know he's okay...

Round TWO HUNDRED FIVE

You ask Alexander about his time as a slave, and he responds... solemnly. He could see everything he was doing, but he just couldn't have control over what his limbs were doing. He's not entirely sure what he was doing, because he never needed to know.

When asked about the whereabouts of your other pokemon, Alex's eyes light up brightly. Kamon was last seen patrolling the opposite side of the treetops, with a few other pokemon.

Gin, meanwhile, was imprisoned on that side because of his immunity to mind control.

You usher Alexander in a rescue mission, but the large ice pokemon pulls you back. He's on your side, yes, but he can't exactly fight just yet. He's still getting control over his body, after all.

You recall Alexander to his poké ball and charge towards the other side of the treetop village. There is surprisingly little action going on as you move, however.

You eventually make it to the other side. Several pokémon are off in the distance, but they're too far away to cause you any harm. You reach another large warehouse building, but the door's locked.

Looks promising.

You break up into groups of two -- you and Umbreon, Krok and Smeargle -- and begin looking around for a needle in a haystack.

After several minutes of fruitless searching, you regroup... finding that Smeargle had already found a way inside by painting a hole into the wall. How about that...
