Shinsuke Volcano
This Volcanic Island - previously hidden away; can now be seen from the shore. A massive pool of magma lies deep in its center, but one can walk down quite a ways and find a variety of Fire Types enjoying the heated tunnels. Some hardier Flying Pokemon line the edges of the Volcano as well. A tall Pagoda stands on the Island as well, the only man-made structure here. If you fish from shore, Water Pokemon encounter rates are the same as for Tranquil Shores.


Round ONE SEVENTEEN
You ignore the three pieces of pirate equipment and wander around the cabin some more. Aside from a few knick-knacks, old paintings, and half-empty bottles of rum, there doesn't appear to be anything useful in here.

Round ONE EIGHTEEN
With your preparations made and your crew ready, you hoist up the anchor and let the helmswoman, Tweety, guide your large craft.

Tweety hovers a few feet into the air before furiously flapping her wings, creating a swift jet of winds to propel the Little Jack forward, and your pirate journey begins.

SETTING SAIL

As the volcano behind you gets smaller and smaller, you find yourself feeling much better as a pirate. Your boatswain hovers a few feet in the air next to you and you flash the brightest smile you've ever flashed.

But the ocean, as calm as it is, still has some monsters about--

You decide against approaching the water creatures, and continue to sail forward as the winds pick up and push you to the west. Your purple unown cries up from the crow's nest, and you begin to wonder.

You climb up the intimidatingly tall ladder up to the nest and pull out your spyglass to see what's given Oslo, Jr. such a fright.

Black clouds.

About three kilometers west of you. They look fierce.

You damn the black clouds and continue sailing towards them while Tweety takes to the skies, hoping to part them with her marvelous abilities. The cumula nimbus, however, refuses to fade, and Tweety retreats to the Little Jack as the winds pick up and rain starts falling harshly from the sky.

Probably not the best conditions for a sail, but up ahead, you see a large continent in the distance.

Round ONE TWENTY
THROUGH THE STORM
Yutaka Minobe & Takayuki Maeda - Delphinus

Fearing the worst, you try to keep the ship as protected as possible. The professor and Uxie flutter on opposite sides of the Little Jack, casting a series of protective barriers around it that should hopefully keep it safe.

Tweety, meanwhile, sends the Little Jack into the storm faster with a furious gust of winds as Oslo, Jr. lightens the way. From inside the barriers, you can hear the rain plopping down above and it is quite fierce.

The continent up ahead looks tempting, but the fact that it seems to be located in the eye of it all is a little disconcerting.

You fears are strong, but you swallow them anyway as you command the Little Jack forward. As it quickly makes its way to the massive continent, you can hear the plip-plopping sounds of heavy ran falling upon the barriers -- you hope that they'll keep strong.

After nearly ten minutes of sailing, you reach the continent... but you're unsure of where to drop anchor. There's no sand or ground nearby at all -- it's almost as if this continent was... floating...

You give your orders to Uxie, who complies readily. The psychic pokemon hovers and escapes the protection of the barriers while engulfing the large wooden craft in a mental aura. The boat makes a loud cracking sound as it is telepathically lifted a few feet out of the water.

Uxie strains and strains, but ultimately manages to lift the boat high enough to dock it onto the continent's... amorphic ground? Something's definitely not right about this place.

Uxie returns to the safety of the boat's barriers, quite tired.
