Fearing the worst, you try to keep the ship as protected as possible. The professor and Uxie flutter on opposite sides of the Little Jack, casting a series of protective barriers around it that should hopefully keep it safe.

Tweety, meanwhile, sends the Little Jack into the storm faster with a furious gust of winds as Oslo, Jr. lightens the way. From inside the barriers, you can hear the rain plopping down above and it is quite fierce.

The continent up ahead looks tempting, but the fact that it seems to be located in the eye of it all is a little disconcerting.

You fears are strong, but you swallow them anyway as you command the Little Jack forward. As it quickly makes its way to the massive continent, you can hear the plip-plopping sounds of heavy ran falling upon the barriers -- you hope that they'll keep strong.

After nearly ten minutes of sailing, you reach the continent... but you're unsure of where to drop anchor. There's no sand or ground nearby at all -- it's almost as if this continent was... floating...

You give your orders to Uxie, who complies readily. The psychic pokemon hovers and escapes the protection of the barriers while engulfing the large wooden craft in a mental aura. The boat makes a loud cracking sound as it is telepathically lifted a few feet out of the water.

Uxie strains and strains, but ultimately manages to lift the boat high enough to dock it onto the continent's... amorphic ground? Something's definitely not right about this place.

Uxie returns to the safety of the boat's barriers, quite tired.

You look around upon the port bough of the ship for a few seconds before hopping off like a drunk person. As your feet hit the floor, you pull a Link and roll to safety. Your pokemon stare down at you and roll their eyes -- perfectly willing to levitate you to safety -- and you show off your 10 dollar grin.

The rainstorm continues to beat down upon you as your band of pirate-mons follow you off the Little Jack.

After a few seconds of nothing but rain, you hear a bellowing sound from... below you? Before you can piece together the something or other, you see the Little Jack shoot straight up into the air on top of a pillar of water.

Uh oh.

The wooden vessel creaks and cries as it falls into the water next to the contin-- whatever this thing is. Good thing for those barriers, hm?

You turn to Uxie for a brief synopsis about what the what just happened. She eagerly communicates back to you--

"Captain, we're gonna need to get back to the boat," she excitedly says, "I don't think we're safe on this--"

A ridiculously loud groan interrupts her link with you, and Uxie instead takes matters into her own hands and grapples your arm, teleporting you and your pokemon back to the ship's mast as the continent suddenly rises from its position in the ocean.

THE LEVIATHAN

You, being the captain, reorganize your crew into a more formidable attacking force. Uxie maintains a series of barriers to keep the Little Jack from taking too much harm, whilst the Professor leaves the comfort of the boat to take in Kyogre all on his own.

As the Professor charges towards his destiny, Junior and Tweety poke-man the cannons, firing off two well-aimed shots that strike the blue whale harshly. Kyogre moans as the Professor snaps his fingertips, summoning a weak torrent of electricity. However, before he can fire it at his giant foe, he is force back onto the boat by a powerful hydro pump. Not good!

Kyogre moans once again before utilizing the rain storm for a powerful thunder. The blades of electricity rain down from the heavens upon the Little Jack, dealing quite a bit of damage. Fortunately, Uxie's barriers keep the boat from taking too much damage.
