Pamswert, begin with DynamicPunch. Follow with Focus Blast and finish with Rock Slide.

Quick attack around that dynamic punch and attack from behind, Counter the focus blast, if he misses and you can still use a move on that action then use Night Slash. Finally, dodge the rocks best you can and use Toxic.

Well, since this Tournament is ready to ride, I'm gonna kick it off! Welcome to Greyfox's first STAB-Less tournament. The rules have been made clear, and we are ready to begin round 1 of what is going to shape up to be an exciting tournament.

I'm hosting the fire field match today! Mainly because I love heat. Pamswert over here doesn't seem to mind too much, but Crusader got kind of a raw deal. Bout as bad as an entry hazard really. But he's still rip roaring to go.

Pawert hops up on his hind legs, and flaps those massive arms around, trying to land one of those crazy haymaker punches. Crusader watches, and then bolts right after a punch swings hard right. He follow Pamswert's path, and bounces over the incoming left hand, leaving him in a praying mantis pose as he flies over Pam's left shoulder. He kicks his feet out to force Pam off balance, into the hot ground, as he lands unscathed.

Crusadre whirled around, pincers out in a guarding pose as Pamswert recovered from that first strike. Wiping the countersweat from its brown due to the grounds heat, Pam forced himself on all fours and began to focus his energy into a massive blast. Fearing naught, Crusader flew toward the beast.

Pokemon food. It's a strange brown morsel. It looks like a burnt Fig Newton. Or, to be more accurate, it looks like what happens when someone is smacked REALLY HARD into pliable earth, and you get all those dirt bombs and nodules that fly up as they roll across the arena. A bunch of those small brown nodules landed by my feet, as Crusader came to a stop a few meters away. Dunno why he tried to Counter a special attack...

Crusader may be faster, but Pamswert wasn't just struck by a heavy laden attack. He plodded over and forced those nodules I pointed out before to coalesce. Pretty easy to do since its so hot.

These hot rocks then fell toward Crusader. Unlike a massage with hot rocks, which would be soothing, this looked like a hemmerodial meteor storm. One Crusader had NO intention of being caught in. He scrambled forward and then to the side to evade the attack, barely making it out of range of the stones before turning back on his assailant and crashing in front of him.

Pam took a step back, as Crusader quickly flicked his head up, and released a Toxic goo that sprayed all over the Swampert. Pam was not too happy about that at all...

Herp derp. Trying to counter a special attack – that’s how I roll.

Vacuum Wave, then use Agility to get away quickly and dodge any attacks, and finally Quick Attack. If he tries Dynamic Punch – quick attack around it, like last time.

Yawn, Refresh, Focus Blast.

If he's asleep for the third action, replace Focus Blast with Focus Punch.

The methodology for Cursader now was to hit hard and hit often. Pamswert was no match for this in theory, as the crimson fighter landed a pained blow against his right forearm. The stinging sensation ran though his body for a moment, and then seemed to trigger something in his mind. Pam opened is mouth, and let out a big ol' gust of air.

Really, he yawned? Really?! Crusader seemed a bit miffed, he knew that attack had to hurt! (-2)

Can't believe that. Crusader snapped his pincers together very loud, and shook his head. That cocky mudskippermutation! We'll he'll have the last laugh. Jumping back and forth, Crusader made sure that nothing would get the jump on him. Nothing!

Except...maybe sleep. The hyper bug slowed down drastically, and found himself barely staying awake, as Pamswert seemed to cure itself of that relative sickness it got wind of a few moments back.

Down and out is Crusader. Just when it looked as if he was going to do something big too. But, we'll leave that for Pamswert. The methodical fighter lumbered forward and took the time to raise both hands over his head. He stayed in that position for a good minute, just staring down at the sleeping Scizor.

Reaching a pinnacle of focus, he flung his fists down, hammering Crusader with a nasty punch that seemed to bend his wingframe into an unnatural position. Crusader splayed out, and twitched...but managed to stay unconscious...

Pretty sure he's gonna come to REAL soon.

Drowsy as he may be Crusader was a soldier until the end. He stayed on his feet and flapped his wings, as he lolled in a state of purgatory. Not sure, and not willing to take teh risk of Crusader waking up fully, Pam readied another blast of Focused energy. She released it in a spherical form, colliding with Crusader and sending his husk flying across the heated sands!

Crusader hopped up after the attack, using his pincers to slow his skid, and vault himself upward. In his speed spire, he finally creates a terrific barrier of light, one that falls down with him when he lands back on the firey enhanced field.

Cru: -4E/-14H LS: 7 act ~~ Pam: -10E

Shaking away the drowziness, Crusader was all game face. He darted in and slammed his arms into Pam's head not one, but twice. No more mr Beat-up-on-the-metal-bug guy here! Pam pushed him away not with her hands, but with an ancient set of rocks unearthed by some strange power I still can't explain. Crusader took those hits like a champ and leered-he was out for blood.

Not at all done with his torrent of revenge, Crusader let his arms hang to his sides. Pam took this as a sign that he could go ahead and slam him with another ball of energy. But-as Pam braced himself, so did Crusader. The sphere left Pam's mouth, and Crusader seemed satisfied with that knowledge. The sphere didn't even seem to bother Crusader that much, but there's only so many hits a Scizor can take...really.

But, then again, Crusader opened fire on Pam with the same move. I don't think he was truly ready for the force behind the blast, as he flew backwards from release. Pam slammed into the ground from the force of that blow, and was left stunned. Damn, that attack really DOES hurt!

Though uncomfortable, Crusader forced himself to land on the heated ground. In an act of sheer will, he threw a shield up and forced his body to try and use the heat to help aid his wounds. In time, his metallic structure shifted partially, sealing any cracks he may have attained along the way.

Pam just watched this process, amazed at the rate which he was healing.

With that high rate of energy retrieval complete, Crusader needed a moment of clarity. To ensure nothing came his way he erected a barrier of light that twinkled and shimmered.

Didn't matter to Pam. Nope, not at all. He swung once, with perfect aim. The hit crashed through all the makeshift barriers, and focused in right on Crusaders beady little head. KA-PLOW! There goes Crusader, sailing for a good 50 feet vertically.

As Crusader came down, Pam connected with another punch. This time, the punch connected with his sternum. Crusader flew backwards-his face grinding against the dirt. Man, Crusader really can't catch a break.

Crusader stood his ground and flexed his muscles, ready to continue this match. Pamswert, annoyed by ths bugs apparent resilience, forced a slew of rocks down onto the head of Crusader. As fast as he could possibly move, Crusader slashes left an right, breaking rocks and forcing the chunks to fly back at Pamswert. But the tonnage is too overwhelming, and Crusader falls to the weight of the stones.

Cru: -6E/-9H ~~ Pam: -8E/-5H

Pushing out of the rubble, Crusader looked up, and only saw the smug look of Pam looking down on him. Instead of bowing in defeat, Crusader reached up and grabbed Pam by the throat. The force of his free hand smashing into Pam seemed to be a great release of all the tension he was storing up since the last attack.

Cru: -6E ~~ Pam: +6E/-11H

Pam wriggled and finally wrenched free of Crusader's grip. In a fit of rage, he manage a Focus blast at point blank range. The blast seemed to leave only a smoldering husk of an opponent. Crusader however, was tougher than that, and once again mimicked that move as best he could A full power blast erupted from his pincers and shattered all of Pamswert's hopes that he was done for.

Crusader use your superior speed! Quick attack to get in close, combine it with Reversal and Superpower. Let’s try to end this. If he protects or endures, wait then attack. If he rests, lol, do the same… XD

This is a close match :O Gotta admit...its realy having me wonder about how much I gotta think in advance.

He's fast, Pam, but that's a pretty cumbersome combo to pull off. Whip up a quick and tiny Substitute to eat the attack. Follow with Relax and finish with as much of a Focus Punch as you have the energy to produce.

Whatever happens, you're awesomesauce.

The one boost Crusader had this round finally gets some use, as he blasts forth and slaps Pam upside the head, before jumping on his back and gripping his Pincers into his shoulders. Pam scrambled to create even the tiniest sub, but that was a no go. A hefty flip into the air and Pam was backslammed, and then mercilessly pounced upon. Pam tried to escape the wrath of the Scizor, but it seemed to be quite overwhelming. When it was over, Crusader backed off, as Pam lied there...OUT! Talk about a final surge!

Crusader could barely lift himself off of Pam, as he exhausted everything he had this match
