Blizzard reviving the WoW Scroll of Resurrection promotion (get a FREE copy of Cata!)

It has been announced today that Blizzard is bringing back their Scroll of Resurrection promotion for World of Warcraft. If your account has gone inactive prior to March 4th, 2012 you are eligible to recieve this promotion. Upon redemption you'll get the following bonuses:

A single pre-existing character immediately boosted all the way to level 80
If you've been gone for a long time (re: before Cataclysm) this is perfect in regards to getting started again. Even if you have played during this expansion it'll be a good chance to start focusing on a neglected alt. Here's more info direct from Blizzard:
After accepting the Scroll, the recipient can choose one character to boost to level 80. Log in to your Battle.net Account and click on the resurrected license. Once you’re on the Game Management page, click Claim Rewards and select the character to level along with their spec. The character’s spec will be chosen by the recipient prior to completing the level boost and the character will also be given appropriate talents under the chosen spec. The character will be placed in his or her faction’s capital city and will be ready to adventure immediately. This means that the character will be granted all class skills and spells up to level 80, a flying mount and riding skill, and a green quality set of level- and spec-appropriate gear for leveling.

A FREE upgrade to Cataclysm!
If you do not have a copy of Cataclysm you'll get a digital upgrade for free! This works regardless of account level. In other words even if you don't have Wrath you'll get that for free as well!

An optional FREE character move to your friend's realm/faction so you can play together
In addition to the boost to level 80 you'll get a chance to move a character for free to any server/faction that your friend plays. For example if I send you a SoR on Lilus and you accept it you'll have the option to send one of your characters to Tichondrius. You'll also get a faction transfer/race change to Alliance if your character is currently Horde.

7 FREE days of game time!
Upon accepting the SoR you'll get a free week of game time. This pretty much explains itself.



As you can see even if you already have Cataclysm it's a pretty sweet deal overall. If anyone is interested in reviving their WoW account or wants a free week drop me a line here.
