When I settle down in front of our television, I try to play Final Fantasy XIII-2, plus other games like Super Mario series, Tekken 6, whatever I feel like. I have also some eternity-projects on FF VIII, Pokemon Black, Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales. I also raise my HP and MP on Final Fantasy II, and as for 3DS, just bought Starfox 64 3D and Tekken 3D Prime Edition.

PS3: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (on the HD collection), and I would be playing Uncharted 3 Online still, but I think Sie's been eaten by Mass Effect 3 lol. Not that I mind, cos Peace Walker is AMAZING and everyone should play it at once
PC: Dragon Age: Origins (modded) and Guild Wars 2 beta for this weekend only also includes intermittent Guild Wars with a friend
DS: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and Pokemon Black obvs (working on a replay)

I have a list though, like ever, ahah... this is pretty much entirely PS3-based

1) Shadows of the Damned because I FINALLY got hold of a copy and I played up to the first boss and it is amazing
2) Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater
3) Maybe Final Fantasy XIII-2, MAYBE (if I can get myself to like the damn thing)
4) Attempting a platinum for inFamous 1 now I've got it for inFamous 2
5) Keeping at my 3rd Dragon Age 2 playthrough

Also needs to be factored in: possibly Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City (although I heard it's absolutely terrible so I might not bother), and Resident Evil: Revelations when I get a 3DS this will also include Resident Evil Mercenaries, again, when I get a 3DS, which should be in the next few months (after I've whittled down my top two games on the to-play list).

Ooh, what's ORC like, Elfy? I've heard it's shit from the official reviewers, but really awesome from some people I know online, so I JUST DON'T KNOW WHETHER TO TRY IT OR NOT. Conflicted Weas is conflicted.

However, I can add Resident Evil: Mercenaries to my To Play list now, since it's confirmed that I'm getting a 3DS at some point this means that I might actually be able to play some RE with DL at some point, ye gods

Official reviews? Well there's your problem!

If there's one thing I've learned over the years it's this: official reviews mean shit. Granted they can point out potential flaws in a game. However more often than not it seems that anything mainstream or popular can easily get 8+ while other games seem to struggle to get a 7.

Case in point: Alpha Protocol. While it's far from a perfect game I'd at least give it a high 7. The problem was that the reviewers seem to have been more fixated on reviewing it like it was another Splinter Cell or Metal Gear. They seem to have missed the fact that it's a modern RPG with TPS elements. The top complaints from official reviewers was that "the aiming was terrible" and that "the stealth doesn't work." $20 says the reviewers in question had little to no points in those skills. Being untrained with a certain weapon class will force you to go point blank to get a hit (and even then you may miss or do minor damage). Attempting to use stealth untrained (or in assault gear)will almost always get you spoted no matter how careful you are. The bad reviews of AP lead to poor sales and Sega/Obsidian ditching their plans for a sequel :-/

Anyway I would recommend RE:ORC. It's at least an 8 in my book. Just be sure you go into it knowing the main reason to get it is for online multiplayer/campaign co-op since it does fall a bit flat as a single player game.

Well okay, I guess I should have clarified; by official review I meant Playstation Lifestyle, who are far from official (and in fact, need to employ a bloody copy-editor cos their style is terrible)

I think, considering my general lack of friends to play online with on the PS3, I will wait a fair while before getting ORC. I've never really been keen on games that focus mostly on online play, since I don't like playing with people I don't know (it's more of a laugh with friends!) and all my RE friends have freaking Xbox lol
