Hello, folks, and welcome to Indigo Stadium! Today, one of the first round battles of the ASB Mega Pokemon Grand Tournament will commence between Emerald_Gen.3 and BTPoke. The two trainers take to the field and trade off super-high-intensity-stares-of-competitive-fury. They release, sending an oval-bodied fighter and a skirt-wearing skirt-wearer into the fray. Time to find out once and for all which Raltsvolution (what an ugly word; this is why nobody calls it that) is the best. Let's begin!

LLOYD IRVING -6 EP		As the battle begins, Rosalinda Traces her foe's ability. What a little copycat. Lloyd Irving then raises a fist, which starts oozing with poisony goodness. He charges toward his doppelgang-her and prepares to land a fierce jab, but she elegantly moonwalks out of the way, receiving a panoply of boosts in the process. Werk, mama. LLOYD IRVING -5 EP BRN		Smiling, Rosalinda puts her hands together and tents her fingers. A blue flame ignites right before her eyes. She then swats the flame with an open palm, sending it whizzing across the field. It strikes Lloyd right between the eyes, leaving a visible Burn. Now he looks like some kind of demented triclops. He fights back by delivering a slashing attack infused with dark energy, which scores a critical hit. Unfortunately, the damage would be a lot higher if his friggin' Burn hadn't lowered his friggin' Attack and friggin' Gardevoir hadn't been friggin' retyped in friggin' XY. Oh, and whaddya know. Because Rosalinda Traced Justified, she gets an Attack boost. Lloyd facepalms. Ay dios mio.		ROSALINDA -10 HP CRIT -4 EP +1 ATT

LLOYD IRVING -6 EP		Now for the moment we've all been waiting for. BTPoke triggers his Mega Ring and Rosalinda starts to burst with light. Yep. It's happening. For the first time in TPM ASB history, we have a Mega Evolution on our hands. When the light clears, Rosalinda's skirt looks far more voluminous and she seems to have gained some lovely new firepower in the process. Lloyd counters with another move that used to be super effective against Gardevoir but isn't any longer. Dual beams of red and green energy leave Rosalinda with a bit of a headache, but she ultimately perseveres. Now we get to see what a Mega Gardevoir can do. Alright, Gardevoir, it's time to use your new form to the best of its abilities.

start things off with an echoed voice. Gotta work that pixellated magic yo. Next, use Dazzling Gleam, pumping out as much damage as you can, and then finally use MoonBlast.

If they try to get any status moves on ya, use Magic Coat to bounce them back. If they try a poison jab, switch to using thunder wave instead. And, finally, if they use any stat raising moves, switch to using snatch.

He wraps himself up in a cocoon of Protective energy, which stops all the sound. It's like listening to 4′33″, only better.		ROSALINDA -2 EP

LLOYD IRVING -20 HP -4 EP SGD		Rosalinda points a single finger at Lloyd and releases flashing bursts of pink energy. Lloyd is thrown to the ground from the brutal strike and doesn't retaliate. Instead, he conjures up a white shroud that hugs him like a blanket. Boy sure likes his defensive maneuvers.		ROSALINDA -6 EP

LLOYD IRVING -6 EP		Rosalinda looks like she's about to land a Moonblast on her foe; however, when she sees his fingers starting to drip with toxins, she changes things up. She releases a burst of electric current that bounces across Lloyd's skin but ultimately does nothing. He then delivers his Poison Jab right to Rosalinda's face. En garde!		ROSALINDA -11 HP -4 EP

As it turns out, the answer is somebody who's about to get it right back. Lloyd initiates an ability swap of his own, returning Pixilate to its rightful owner. He then begins to shine with blazing light as he rushes toward his opponent. When the light clears, he's revealed to be a Mega Gallade, and he delivers a Feinting physical strike to his foe. well gallade and gardevoir both have the same base speeds, and gardevoir is made faster with the quiver dance

Yeah, basically what BTPoke said. Even with no stat boosts, Mega Gardevoir is faster than regular Gallade. Mega Gallade would be faster than Mega Gardevoir, but Rosalinda's +1 Spd makes her faster in this case.
