Good luck! Should get this game myself. Looks like an excellent blend of Nintendo and Square.
Hey guys! I really appreciated the support I got from my EarthBound LP, and I figure since things are pretty quiet it wouldn't hurt to share my current LP with you, too! It's Mario RPG - it's tons of fun, and just like my last one, it's loaded to the gills with swearing, because I've got no sponsors to worry about. Hurrah!
Episode #1: Fungah! Foiled again!
In which we meet the plucky plumber Mario, the bewildering baddie Bowser and... Toad. Whose voice you will hate, guaranteed.
Good luck! Should get this game myself. Looks like an excellent blend of Nintendo and Square.
You never played it?
You poor bastard.
You should definitely give it a shot! It's a fun game with lots to do.
Episode #2: There's nothing like a good cry!
In which we find a froggie friend, combat a criminal crocodile and... fail miserably at competent battle.
Episode #3: I was......LYING!!!
In which we prepare particularly, fight fiercely and win wonderfully!
A shame it wasn't released in Europe back in the day, I wanted the game so badly.
I played it many years later when it was released on the Wii but the feeling for this kind of RPG wasn't there for me anymore.

I like it.
Out of interest, what equipment did you get to record the gameplay and your voice? A friend and I wanna do some LPs.

That game is definitely a classic (it's one of the games I've always wanted for my SNES, which I ironically dug out a few days ago and might set up this weekend, just to see if it still works after over a decade of not touching it).
Just wondering DragoKnight, but are you planning to do any of the sidequests (e.g. looking for the invisible chests, the optional battle with Culex, going to Yo'ster Isle, etc.)? It's totally up to you if you want to do any of them, but the ones I listed are just a few suggestions for this awesome game.

Yeah, Europe really got the short end of the stick on the JRPG front. Between this and EarthBound, it's shocking that so many significant Nintendo games didn't get a release. Of course, the impending release of the N64 played a hand in Mario RPG's demise, but other games like DKC3 still did well.
Thanks man. I've got my Wii U connected to an AverMedia Live Gamer Portable to directly record the game footage. While I'm playing, I'm recording my voice on my computer using Audacity, then just combining the two.
Definitely going to pursue some of them. Yo'ster Isle and Culex will make an appearance, but some of the other things will be dependent on what I can remember. Debating whether to include the casino and the lazy shell sidequests, and hidden chests will likely be excluded, unless I happen to find one accidentally.
Episode #4: Let's bounce the night away!
In which we bash bouncing buffoons, seize spectacular stars and... wait, Mack has eyes? I always thought the red bit was his face. Fancy that, eh?
Episode #5: Trample the monsters! Smash 'em all!
In which we descend into darkness, spot some spooky spectres and lose our lousy logistics (aka I have no idea where I'm going).
Episode #6: Not a tadpole!!!
In which we best Belome, ride rivers and engage with the elderly.
Episode #7: HELP!!! HAAALP!!!
In which we romp over rivers, challenge the children and willify wooden whatnots (willify is not a word, but you know what I meant).
Super Mario RPG #8: Strong you are. But stronger am I!
In which we frolic in the forest, somehow summon scarecrows and wage a war for wishes.
Super Mario RPG #9: Race someone SLOW.
In which we race rigorously, abolish autocracy and meet minin' moles.
Super Mario RPG #10: Let's mosey along now.
In which we shuffle through shafts, rattle some rocks and blast those bombs! A veritable OH&S nightmare, it is.
It's very nice that you keep these coming, given the current sad state of the forums. I enjoy your approach on the game, like I've always enjoyed reading your posts, DragoKnight.
Thanks for that brother - you know, someday maybe we'll look back on these dark times and laugh. Just maybe.
Super Mario RPG #11: Simmer down, fluffy!
In which ride the rails, blast some bombs and punch Punchinello! That last bit is not impressive alliteration, I will admit.
Super Mario RPG #12: All this power, AND looks too!
In which we enlist an enemy, traverse the tower and remember relatives!
Super Mario RPG #13: Drink punch...eat cake...?
In which we flame our feet, boogie around bombs and cower behind curtains.
