I am soooo ready to get the new season started already, we have some unfinished business to take care of from last year!! It looks like, unless the unexpected or injuries happen, we should have a good chance of winning the division the next 2 years... I am hoping that this is finally the year, I don't think I can handle losing Game 7 of the World Series in extra innings a third time!! I am dreading this World Baseball classic though and absolutely hate the fact that Andrew Miller is pitching in it. Meh I just hope all of our players survive this tournament without injury.

Canada is fielding a pretty weak WBC side this year, so my expectations are pretty low.

Watching the last two Indians/Cubs games made me think back to this old thread!! Definitely not a whole lot at stake compared to last time they played, but it still was AWESOME to beat the Cubs 3 out of 4 this year, and seeing Rajai Davis catching the last out... that was how it was supposed to end in 2016. Still can't believe we let that one get away!! It seemed like everything was set up for another Cubbies meltdown. Somewhere Joe Buck is crying himself to sleep tonight because Kyle Schwarber didn't go home a winner
